No we can fight a war and spend six billion in Maui at the same time.

We just managed to supply Zelensky with a missile to shoot down a general, and we have many more.

Video of plane engine debris taken at the purported crash site in the Tver region northwest of Moscow matches a plane registered to Wagner founder Yevgeny Prigozhin.

In the video, the last four digits of a registration number on the still-burning engine debris are seen — 2795.

Prigozhin's plane is registered as RA-02795.

An additional analysis of the debris, compared with past photos of the plane, also shows that distinct features of the engine, including its color, match the plane.

Video released by official Russian news agency RIA Novosti shows a plane matching the size and shape of the Embraer falling from the sky almost vertically.

The plane had reached an altitude of some 26,000 feet, according to flight data, before ceasing to transmit information.

There is no budget for war! FEMA on the other hand does.
Just the luck of the draw for Hawaii.

Remember when FEMA blew $70 million on ice that was never used? The officials currently there on Hawaii are paying $1000 /night at some resort. Guess those FEMA tents just don't cut it.

The FEMA workers in Maui are staying in $1,000 a night hotels, caught golfing and swimming.

And then this...

FEMA officials stay at $1,000-per-night luxury Maui hotels on 'other side of the island' while taxpayers foot the bill

Maui is wealthy. The hotels start at $500 a night.

The damages have been estimated at 6 billion.

That’s peanuts, in these times, on Maui.

Wouldn't it be nice to have some say where federal tax dollars are being added to the credit card?

If I could be a dick here(Republican)just for a moment:

**** all those government alphabet agencies! Cut their budgets 10%! The easiest way for criminals to get money is defraud government! And besides, **** those blue state assholes in Hawaii, they can tie some BOOTSTRAPS onto their sandals!

I must be getting soft in my older age, I'm finding it difficult to continue to be "that guy"!

My brother in law lives in Kehei, could have been a real disaster for us. This could kill his business. I'm wondering how long he can afford that $4600/month rent.

He's working overtime looking for a wealthy 60's something woman to save his ***.

I pray that they will be okay. I hope they won't be depending on that FEMA money. Their workers are too busy living it up on the golf courses and $1k a night hotel.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was only a short war, where the government had the right to declare an emergency and lock up all the **** traitors that peddle Fox News?

We have 32 trillion in debt, and a six billion dollar wildfire in Hawaii is all it takes to get MAGA blaming America first and making excuses for Putin.

Americans spend over 136  billion a year on dogs and cats.

—-
Millennials make up the largest percentage of current pet owners (33%), followed by Gen X (25%) and baby boomers (24%). In 2022, Americans spent $136.8 billion on their pets, up 10.68% from 2021 ($123.6 billion). Dog owners spend an average of $730 a year on their dogs.
