It is a strange quirk of history that there is hardly ever a recession in an election year and when there is not, the incumbent wins re-election.

So let’s get out the crystal ball and by September 2024 the only question is will Trump lose Texas, Florida, Iowa, and Ohio?

And in November Biden wins in such a landslide of 400 electoral votes and Fox News calls the election at 8 pm Eastern and Trump goes to prison.

In a moment of grace Biden commutes his sentence, but no pardon. Then Georgia locks him away.

It is unmitigated 1984 in reverse disaster for Republicans, they are crushed.

Can they swear off hating everything decent?

The Democrats swore off racism in 1968.

Is it possible for the GOP to ever again promise an America as the shining city on the hill, like Reagan did constantly?

Amen to that.  I voted for Biden because Trump IS evil incarnate.  It was that simple.  I will do so again if Trump gets the nomination for the exact same reason.

I certainly believe that my party has a better candidate than Joe Biden somewhere in the ranks.  I would HOPE that Republicans, deep in their hearts, know that THEY have better candidates than the clown.  

2028 will be a generational changing of the guard and I am excited about THAT.

I assume that you are referring to Robert Byrd of WV, who was a member of the Klan in his youth, but left it and admitted that joining the Klan was a bad mistake. For his last two terms, he received a majority of the votes of Black West Virginians, so apparently this is not any sort of issue.

The leader of the Democratic Party has always been the presidential nominee in the previous election. Byrd was NEVER a presidential nominee, he was just a senator who did precisely that Joe Manchin is doing now:  figuring out ways to get federal funding for any project in WV.

I don't love Trump...never have. That being said, when I see the deep state leverage everything they have against him, it tells me he's a threat to them and their evil ways.
