During the five years studied, approximately 48,000 patients underwent gender-affirming surgeries. Around 13,000 surgeries were performed in 2019, which marked the peak, and around 12,800 in 2020. Slightly over half of the patients were between the ages of 19 and 30 and more than 1,200 procedures were carried out on individuals aged 18 or younger each year.

The kids being mutilated are being raised in progressive homes, indoctrinated into leftist ideologies. It might be a silver lining that they are being sterilized. When your enemy is committing suicide the most foolish action you can take it to stop them.

That's pretty grim. I would prefer to defend children from these people, rather than just shrug our shoulders and hope they die out. The children are being manipulated, the parents and doctors are doing the manipulating. A better route would be to go after the parents and docs, while making an attempt to save the kids.

It is grim but the reality is parents and doctors are making decisions they believe to be informed. Would you rather have a dead child or a Trans child? Parents should have decision making power for their kids, gender affirming care is vile imho but promoted in leftist enclaves. I raised my children to enjoy firearms, to love their country, to question everything. Progressives would consider this child abuse. There is a significant difference between parental rights and child abuse. Parents don't have a right to physically or sexually abuse their kids. Raising your kid with firearms, to love their country, and to question everything does not do any physical, sexual, or mental harm to the child. That is not abuse. Chopping off their genitals, giving puberty blockers, and manipulating them into thinking they are trans or homosexual, is direct physical, sexual, and mental abuse.

Your beliefs and mine, though sincerely held, are not recognized by progressive society. Doctors and Healthcare providers are encouraging these gender affirming treatments. Until these treatments are correctly labeled as ineffective and deranged child abuse, the issue is one of parental rights. Parents should have the right to seek medical treatment for their children.

There is no contradiction. I believe gender affirming care is vile child abuse. The whole concept is based on the lie one can be born in the wrong sexed body and the further lie that we are medically able to change someone's sex. Currently it's seen as a popular and accepted treatment for children claiming gender dysphoria. Until that is changed parents have a right to pursue legal medical treatment. I want to see the practice abolished.

@Neo  I am afraid I have to call for you to be labeled as a child groomer and sexual predator. Look...I am surprised that you feel this way. I didn't expect you to put 'process' over 'principle' when it comes to this level of morality with children. 


@Cannonpointer  it pains me to bring this up. However, I cannot be a hypocrite. Hypocrites piss me off, I don't want to be one. Given what Neo said, see MrKelly's post, It is with great sadness and great pain, to make a motion for him to receive a 'child groomer and sexual predator' label. Though I have no authority to make any motions and I am pretty much bottom of the totem pole.
