Rather than constantly whining about the Electoral College, why not get off your lazy liberal *** and start working on changing the Constitution.razoo » 05 Sep 2023, 4:22 am » wrote: ↑ The founding fathers were attempting to create a blueprint that would allow for the election of the president without political parties, without national campaigns ........... that was then.
Now we have mountains of unethical, criminal and fraudulent campaigns, mountains of voter suppression and mountains of dark dark dark money. Corruption has changed the landscape enormously thus has rendered the Electoral College fraudulent, unworkable and extinct.

Trust me, the STUPID is deep in these IDIOTS!!

Here is something you probably don't know and/or understand. There is absolutely NOTHING in the US Constitution that states the voters have a right play more than an indirect role in selecting the electors from their state. The legislature of the state could decide to grant themselves the sole responsibility of selecting the electors for their state (eliminating the practice of letting the state's popular vote determine which slate is use) and there isn't a damn thing the governor of the state or any court in the country can do to stop them. Practically speaking, it would be political suicide...but they could do it.razoo » 05 Sep 2023, 2:33 am » wrote: ↑ The founding fathers were attempting to create a blueprint that would allow for the election of the president without political parties, without national campaigns and without disturbing the carefully designed balance between the presidency and the congress and between the states and the federal government.
When Americans vote for a president and vice president they are actually voting for presidential electors…. known collectively as the electoral college.
I say most voters do not know this and would be angered.
Essentially our votes do not make the decision.
Thus considering all of the above the electoral college must be eliminated.
Not only do we have political parties and special interest campaigns we have PACs of all sorts and dark money plus campaign finance violations. Thus we have grounds for eliminating United We Stand as well.
How do you change things constantly evolving into a new total sum, constantly here now? Train people to share same ideas ancestrally for thousands of revolutions around the star never same population alive twice each generation forward now.ConsRule » 05 Sep 2023, 7:19 am » wrote: ↑ Rather than constantly whining about the Electoral College, why not get off your lazy liberal *** and start working on changing the Constitution.
You're all whine, no action. Until you put work into changing things...go **** yourself.
These LWNJs are WAY TO STUPID to understand that they have absolutely ZERO RIGHT TO VOTE for the President of this nation. There is NO Constitutional right for them to cast a ballot for President. Their HOUSE member, yes, but PRESIDENT, no "right" of any kind.ConsRule » 05 Sep 2023, 7:27 am » wrote: ↑ Here is something you probably don't know and/or understand.
