Here is something you probably don't know and/or understand. There is absolutely NOTHING in the US Constitution that states the voters have a right play more than an indirect role in selecting the electors from their state. The legislature of the state could decide to grant themselves the sole responsibility of selecting the electors for their state (eliminating the practice of letting the state's popular vote determine which slate is use) and there isn't a damn thing the governor of the state or any court in the country can do to stop them. When Americans vote for a president and vice president they are actually voting for presidential electors…. known collectively as the electoral college.
I say most voters do not know this and would be angered.
Essentially our votes do not make the decision.
Thus considering all of the above the electoral college must be eliminated.
Not only do we have political parties and special interest campaigns we have PACs of all sorts and dark money plus campaign finance violations. Thus we have grounds for eliminating United We Stand as well.
