this topic came up during a monthly meeting with the governor and he made it clear that it would take something unprecedented to have mask mandates come back. While I do not care for the guy.. that is admirable.

I disagree.

Saying it's not gonna happen would be admirable. 

The science on masks is crystal clear. We've known for a hundred and five years they are counter-productive in a pandemic. 

That is why gates and the "good club" want you to wear them. So you will get sick.

What's annoying is how large segments of the population are so willingly falling back in line again with this insanity.

But they still will.
Because the world will be closed to them if they don't.
No going to the doctor.
No getting groceries.
No buying gas.
No going to the movies.
No going out to eat.

There seems to be a disconnect in their minds, a mask protects people from the evil virus until they can get vaxxed, then they don't need a mask anymore, unless a new even scarier variant appears, then they need a mask again until a new and even better vaxxine is created that will protect them but then etc. etc. that has been going on for quite a while, it's clear that masks work and vaxxines don't.. so why not wear a mask forever and forget about the vaxxines?

Yesterday my wife and I took off for the long weekend and we went on a drive, and wound up in the historic  settlement of Cole Camp.  As we walked down a sidewalk so clean you could eat off it, there was a little band across the street playing Fraulein.

I called my friend JC and he heard it, and said it sounds like you are either in Cole Camp or you’ve gone to see Earl Ball at the Flemington Fox Hunt in heaven.

I asked him, JC why haven’t the nasty Trumpies destroyed Cole Camp yet , and he said Trumptards can’t stand to listen to Fraulein or other old time music.

We walked in the cafe and everybody on staff had on a mask.

My wife and I felt self conscious,  and she said we need to get us some nice masks to wear, when we go to places like Cole Camp, and she’s right, like she always is.

Where ever all the servers wear masks, you’ll only hear virtuous music.

90% of the deaths were old people with comorbid factors...and in most cases Old People at risk could have self quarantined apart from the general population.
School Teachers close to retirement could have been given a chance to "opt out" from forced vaccinations with early retirement packages.
Basically .0001% of the military had died from CV19 before forced vaccines became "a thing" with them too. Soldiers close to retirement could have been given an early retirement option.

I did every single one of those things during the first mandate without ever wearing a mask.
