A conservative estimate of the number books published each year in the industrialized world may be 200 per million people. It's more than that in the U.S. but that still means 200 x 330 million.

Just because a title is deemed inappropriate for school aged children and not allowed in the public education system, it doesn't mean the book is "banned".
If the parents want their kids to read that ****, they can still obtain those titles in the free market and let their kids read it.
"Banning" means that the possession of such titles is deemed illegal, which is NOT the case here.

No books have been banned. If they were banned, they would be unavailable for purchase anywhere (by any method) in the US and would not be available in a public library.
