I never saw him in concert. I had a friend who saw him at least a dozen times. He was a huge fan.
Jimmy Buffett, musical ‘Mayor of Margaritaville,’ dies at 76 (msn.com)
Jimmy Buffett, the singer-songwriter and Mayor of Margaritaville, the mythical paradise of tropical breezes, frozen cocktails and laid-back escapism that inspired his greatest hit and fostered a hugely successful branding and business empire, died Friday. He was 76.“Jimmy passed away peacefully on the night of September 1st surrounded by his family, friends, music and dogs,” a statement posted on his website and social media accounts said, adding: “He lived his life like a song till the very last breath and will be missed beyond measure by so many.” No cause of death was disclosed.

RIP brother Jimmy = love your music that will continue to live on ........... what a nice ambiance your music and laid back lifestyle bring....... some party from time to time is healthy.
