As China is training more engineers and researchers than the U.S. and Europe combined, it will eventually take the technological lead in many fields. Other countries will have to either become more specialized or close their markets to imports from China.

Most Americans aren't smart enough to design and manufacture technology. Most of the tech we have today was built outside the US. Go look on YouTube under tutorials on programming and computer science. Most of the vids are done by Indians. You have to search a long time to find an American.

Yep. They may have a green card and even dual citizenship, so technically they can call themselves American. However, they are from India or Pakistan and they still live there, as well as here. The only reason they come here to learn is because the opportunities in India or Pakistan are scarce.

Sanctions China re: 5G chips backfired didn't it? China can't be held back.
It's foolish, and dangerous, to have a policy of confrontation and containment with China.
The US should be collaborating with her instead.
If you overthrow the financial oligarchy that controls the US then cooperation,
on a grand scale, becomes possible. Easier said than done.
