I remember when I was there (Suwon AB) a North Korean fishing boat had lost power and drifted into South Korean waters, where it was intercepted by their Coast Guard, who towed the NK boat & crew to port... I remember seeing the crew on the News when they were taken to Seoul while arrangements were made for them to be returned to their families in the North.. Seoul was a total sensory overload for them, as it was a modern, thriving city free of famine... Through the NK State controlled Media and education system, the North Koreans are taught that the South is a desolate, primitive society, rampant with poverty, starvation & cannibalism... I can only imagine the sort of Debriefing the fisherman received, to keep their mouths shut from the NK Officials before being released back into the population...

Germany is at the start of a deep recession. Their manufacturing is down. They can afford to conscript swarthy middle easterners into their military and send them to Ukraine to kill Russians. I can't imagine why they would even return. They could have requested asylum and automatically received it in SK.
