The Pentagon admits they are behind Russia and China in this technology.  Likely about 10 years.  Russia and China both made 
hypersonic missile technology priority one 20 years ago.  Why?  It seemed more important to spend billions on this
technology, with all its possibilities, than to build big sea coffins called carriers.  Neither Russia nor China has an
empire to police, bomb, loot, and bully like the US.  The US ''''must'''' have carriers...and Russia/China must
have carrier killers.

And yet again, the US MIC just cannot figure it out....
