They say Freeman met with Kutti at a police precinct, where she brought Floyd into the conversation on a speakerphone. Prosecutors say Kutti presented herself as someone who could help Freeman but then pressured her to falsely confess to election fraud.

According to the indictment, Ms Kutti was in contact with alleged co-conspirators Harrison Floyd and Stephen Lee, a pastor from Illinois, several times before she travelled to Atlanta. Mr Floyd also allegedly spoke to Ms Freeman on the phone while Ms Kutti was with her.

The three face a charge of conspiracy to commit solicitation of false statements and writings for allegedly trying to coerce Ms Freeman to say she had committed election fraud.

In 2021, Ms Kutti, who has also lobbied for cannabis companies in Illinois, posted on social media that the allegations of the details of her meeting with Ms Freeman were false.

She wrote: "Fake news collectives used my prior work with Kanye West to negatively associate us to Trump."

Anybody charged with a crime that serious—a five-year mandatory minimum, and a possible 20-year maximum—is not going to sleep easy at night, regardless of whatever comfort and counseling I’m able to offer,” Shestokas said, referring to the penalty for violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. “But even under those circumstances, I certainly have no guarantees for him.”

On Monday, a Fulton County, Georgia grand jury indicted Lee, a police chaplain living in the Chicago area, alongside Donald Trump and 17 others for a laundry list of election-related crimes related to the 2020 election. Lee, 70, is facing additional counts on top of the RICO charge, including conspiracy to solicit false statements and writings, criminal attempt to influence witnesses, and influencing witnesses

“Neither the reverend nor I were ever contacted by anyone from Fulton County,” he claimed. “We were quite surprised by the reverend’s indictment since Fulton County had not even been able to make a case in an Illinois court that Rev. Lee was a material witness. With that in mind, we were quite astounded to learn of his indictment as a defendant.”

On Dec. 15, 2020, Lee’s burgundy sedan suddenly appeared in Freeman’s driveway. Lee had already knocked on Freeman’s front door in an attempt to speak with her, but she hadn’t answered. He had shown up the night before, when Freeman happened to be out. So Lee left a note with a neighbor the night before, telling Freeman that time was “running out” and that he wanted to help her. Panicked, Freeman called 911.

Believing that Freeman refused to speak with him because he is white, Lee then reached out to Harrison Floyd, the Chicago-based leader of a group called Black Voices for Trump, and asked for help, according to the Fulton County indictment. In turn, Floyd, who is also among those indicted in Fulton County, arranged for Trevian Kutti, a former publicist for hip-hop star and Chicago native Kanye West, to travel to Freeman’s home on Jan. 4, 2021.

The Georgia indictment against the former president and 18 co-defendants includes 41 counts and a racketeering charge. Among those named in the indictment are two people from the Chicago area: Orland Park minister Stephen Cliffgard Lee and Chicago lobbyist Trevian Kutti.

Lee is a 70-year-old pastor at Living Word Lutheran Church and has been politically active in campaigns for Trump-backed candidates. Kutti is a former Old Town resident who was once a publicist for disgraced R&B singer R. Kelly and controversial rapper Kanye West.

Both are facing three counts including solicitation of false statements, witness tampering and violations of Georgia’s racketeering laws.

The indictment accuses Lee and Kutti of attempting to convince Fulton County election worker Ruby Freeman to falsely confess to election fraud. Some of Kutti’s alleged pressuring was captured on camera at the Cobb County Sheriff’s office.

Only one was a famous traveling pastor who first became known to Rudy Gulliani when he was America’s Mayor after 9/11.

Gulliani lied to Pastor Steven Cliffgard Lee.

 The very definition of not only squirming but also betrayed.

 

Whether they squirm or not is immaterial.  The fact is that their actions were to nullify a free and fair election and to illegally give Trump a second term. 

Their lawyers have the very difficult chore of proving that they are not guilty as charged.
Some will likely make deals because they cannot afford legal counsel, They will turn on Trump, as Trump frequently does. In the NYC case, Trump said that his tax cheating scheme was all the work of his son Eric.
But he was in charge of the Trump Organization.

Spin will never replace hard evidence = Trump and worshippers were so sure they could pull off lots of crime they went arrogant ......... now jail cells are in their future.

Choosing the spot light and big talk now makes for draining the swamp...... hallelujah !!!!
