It does happen.. just not in May. it happens in July and August.

The Las Vegas Aviators had one rain out this year.

Las Vegas in August is quite unpleasant. The foot traffic in Las Vegas does not happen at 1 pm... folks wait until sunset.

The Las Vegas Aviators have sold out over a dozen games this year.  The game around July 4th started right after people got off work.  Game time temp was 110 degrees.  The temp for that day was about 115.

I am talking about MLB... Oakland A's being technically a MLB team.
