The democrats were going to use a mass casualty event to take full indefinite emergency control of the government. They were willing to sacrifice some of their own and thousands of innocent people to increase their power. Sickening.

In the ensuing melee, Trump supporters attacked Capitol police, broke into the Capitol building, and vandalized and looted the interior. Three police officers and three rioters died as a result of the assault. The certification ceremony was temporarily suspended as members of Congress hid from the rioters or fled the building. For thus having encouraged his supporters to attack the Capitol, Trump was impeached on January 13, 2021, by the Democratic-led House of Representatives for “incitement of insurrection.” He was subsequently acquitted by the Senate. During the first year after the attack, more than 725 rioters were arrested and charged with federal crimes. The House committee investigating the attack released its final report in December 2022.

Nothing that you posted here debunks the truthful claims made in NEO's OP.
But you just felt that you had to post SOMETHING that kinda sorta looked like an intelligent rebuttal.......

Looks like your Encyclopedia Britannia missed the obvious..

We would not be having this discussion if there was adequate security that day... There would be no J6th if the intel and the guard that was authorized was used and the security needed was there... The security of the Capitol is the job of the Capitol Police and the congressional overseers Pelosi and ilk... it was their job... they failed, no excuse.

This should have been the scene in front of the Capitol on the J6th...... not on J7th....

All facts. Headlines were already printed. They wanted and needed more violence. They expected a mass casualty event that would justify ending the republican party but instead got one dead protester. I abhor violence in the name of politics, the notion is un-American. I am glad most of the protesters were peaceful and that they left their weapons at home. They didn't fall for Pelosis honey pot. At least not entirely.

  plus only the most brainwashed idiots believe that MAGA murdered 5 cops and seriously injured 140 more. 100s of video cameras all over the capitol campus and so why haven't we seen dozens of videos by now of all the cops lying in pools of their own blood either dead or needing to be carted off on stretchers and put into ambulances...?
A person would need to be such an effeminately raised little snowflake with ZERO STREET SMARTS to believe that MAGA could have dragged Pence across the campus right in front of 100s of well armed cops and then proceed to hang him......

They obviously believed just that. They believed it would be a gun fight between Trump supporters and law enforcement, that it would devolve into something that would compare with 911 and pearl harbor. Instead they got a comparatively minor riot with protesters largely staying inside the velvet ropes and prayers for peace being said in the rotunda. Not at all what they planned for. 

Did we ever find out who planted the two pipe bombs on the secured grounds of the Capitol? Seemed to me like someone was planning to set those off but the chaos didn't reach a high enough level to provide cover.
