The most disappointed I’ve ever been buying a new gun was my first Ruger 10-22.

I finally own a good 10-22.  It has a trigger job and an aftermarket bolt stop.  It’s still not as accurate as a Marlin Model 60, the most underrated $100 used gun you can buy.

But if you store a gun outside a safe out a five dollar lock on it.

I bought one used a month ago for 150.00. Stainless. Haven't shot it yet but I will.

I understand why you don't accept life in plain sight evolving as displaced genetically eternally separated when evolving here now. My instinctive empathy in complete apathy of humanity's better tomorrows allows my brain to see your actual intentions while conversing with everyone else alive.

   Clean it and let it rip.
It's a fairly tough gun and the parts seem to last forever. Never had to replace a thing after 30 years and thousands of rounds.
 Their main problem and most problems with .22 firearms is filth. The .22 is a dirty round.

  I have a bunch of those locks.
 They are in a box out in the shed with the keys attached and the plastic still on them.
Brand spanking new!
 Not sure what to do with them either. 
It's hard to keep all of my guns loaded,ready to use with that thing in it.

Go hang yourself, Bruce!  The gun owner has no fault in this at all.  It is 70% the criminal's fault and 30% our justice system's fault for not swiftly and brutally eradicating the criminal cockroach when they had the first opportunity.  Violent criminals should be swiftly executed.

WE CANNOT TRUST OUR GOVERNMENT.

Why is one person in an office suddenly smart, clairvoyant, and honest?

When we see activist judges and DA's, weaponized agencies that SHOULD BE checks and balances, etc.
it becomes less difficult to think 'offing the criminal element' could be you and me next.

Here's the bottom line.  Law abiding society will separate itself from criminals, and those who look like and act like criminals, when the justice system become ineffective. We will have segregation again.  This will not be good for Blacks.  You cannot force people to like or interact with people they fear and dislike.

.22LR shot from a rifle is really not a bad round. It's more powerful than most people think.   30-06 is for hunting.  I have one, but only put rounds through it to sight in the scope. Yeah, it's expensive to feed.  Always has been.
