In 1932 my grandparents built a brand new house, for $1,800.  I have the drawings and the contact.

When my grandmother died in May 1960 my father added running water to his home place and rented it for $30 a month.

I could sell that house tomorrow for over fifty times what it cost to build.

 But I’d lose five hundred  dollars a month rent.

We are living in a golden age.

If I didn’t provide good air conditioners my tenant would leave and then I’d double the rent after I bought a thousand dollars worth of air conditioners.

I didn’t know what air conditioning was until I went to college in 1976.

If you are poor today you are too old or too sick to work.

as electric cars take over the highways, gas tax will be raised to cover the loss of less gas sold. over the next few years state and federal taxes on gas will have to be raised to $9.00 a gallon. as electric cars drive for free.

not only will gas taxes go up but, so will the price of gas. gas prices will go up to cover the loss of sales. $20.00* a gallon gas + $9.00 gas tax ='s $29.00 a gallon gas. as electric cars will get government rebates. and who will make those electric cars? china. (*cost the same to run a gas station regardless of sales.)
