Im in Austin TX.   I have a buddy that lives in south downtown. Im in the 'burbs.
We met up for beers and dinner last week downtown.
Holy ****.  Beggars lying around the sidewalks, tents everywhere.

I'M IN A SUBURBAN TOWN MYSELF. I GAVE UP GOING TO THE CITY FOR CONCERTS AND SHOWS AND HOLIDAYS.
CRIME THUGS ARE LOOTING STORES EVERYWHERE WHILE MERCHANTS WATCH AND DO NOTHING. HOMELESS EVERYWHERE. JUST GOT A PISTOL PERMIT, NEVER NEEDED ONE BEFORE.

Ive been researching for a while on why we dont see
these issues in Russia or China.  Also, an American who
lives in China has a YT channel discussing this.  Because
ALL countries have homeless and drug addicts - just common sense.

THEY DO NOT ALLOW IT ON THE STREETS. PERIOD.

Granted its a bit of Socialism in their approach, but it works.  

These people are picked up and taken to a facility.  They are
given TWO choices. ONE...go to jail and die.  TWO...take a
low paying govt job like sweeping sidewalks, street sweeping,
construction cleanup etc... Agree to this and you get a small
paycheck and a tiny apartment. Enough to live, thats it. 

To me, this is brilliant.

CITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY SUMMONED HIM TO GET HIS MODEL ON HOW TO ACCOMPLISH WHAT HE'D DONE.
