According to the USAREC (US Army Recruiting Command), 71% of youth do not qualify for military service because of obesity, drugs, physical and mental health problems, misconduct, and poor aptitude.

But, guess what folks, the Biden Administration is preparing you for what's coming - THE DRAFT.  Here's what else the propaganda arm of the USAREC is saying:
  • This labor market is " most challenging labor market ever since the inception of the all-volunteer force"
  • Only "1% of the population currently serves in any branch of the armed forces; veteran population is rapidly declining"
  • 50% of Army recruits come from only eight states.  The other 42 states only marginally participate in providing recruits to the military.
The Army simply can't get the requisite number of qualified recruits.  So, the Army, with the Biden Administration's assistance, is making the case for a new DRAFT.  Buckle-up, buttercup, Biden says your boy is going to boot camp....like it or not!

If there is a draft previous support for Russia should disqualify the draftee.

Half the Republican Party would rather be Russian than support Biden.

And people who won’t get their shots have no place defending the country.  They’d run away if they didn’t defect to Russia first.

I can tell you from dealing with the under 25 crowd fairly extensively over the last few years, they are as **** up as a soup sandwich.

I don't know what we should expect when they have **** like this as a role model.

Agreed.  Nor would I expect anyone to join any branch of the military while Biden and his Queer Administration is running things.  I mean, WTF - who in their right mind would want to be a part of THAT?

today's teens come from increasingly comfortable living arrangements. Not to say that they are all middle income and so on but they do not have the tough life that necessitates physical exertion and such. Parents no longer push sports as hard. They are purely a matter of choice in most cases. My old man was a bit bummed that none of his kids ever played traditional high school sports but there was no overt pressure to go out for the team. I ended up being on the cross country team for the last two years of high school but that is not the same as football or baseball.

one proposal that I would stand by firmly is this:

Requiring every high school senior to spend six weeks living/working on a farm, ranch, logging camp, etc. They would get paid a minimal stipend. No internet, no social media. Here they would see how the other half lives. This would give them first hand knowledge of rural america as opposed to just sitting in their apartment and cherry picking the internet about how terrible it is. Also, this would help them be in better physical shape.

Half?  Look, I hate Putin.  I hate what he did to Ukraine.  But, support Communist, Pedophile, Crooked, extortionist and bribe-taker Joe Biden?  I might just side with support Russia over that.

My kid did tennis and cross country.  Yes, sports are mandatory in our our family - you must do a sport, not optional.  A lot of white kids don't do football anymore.  But, baseball is still pretty big in travel teams and high school.

Just 6 weeks, or do you mean 6 weeks twice a year after they turn 12?

I would say six weeks in total.. just because of logistics and expense. Trim the salary of the district superintendent and those right below would be a way to help pay for this. Yes, I can see it coming.. the horror stories. "We were bullied.. wah, wah, freaking wah!"... Easy fix to that is have sites or locations that are not quite so rustic. Some organic farm or one that is just outside of town would suffice.

Yeah.. in my home state, Idaho, a few of the smaller schools have stopped having a football team due to low participation. At first, they were combining schools/towns but even then, they would only have 8 or 9 students come out. That meets the minimum being that they play 8-man football but then these teams were getting manhandled. They would play slightly bigger schools and lose 77-0 or so. The kids were tired of losing so badly and quit.

Anyone who thinks that shouldn’t be in the armed services.

America is part of NATO and it is possible a Trumptard might have to die in Europe.

No way they’d risk their neck.

Damned right. The military and especially its leadership has the lowest confidence since your **** up **** lie of Vietnam. Ukraine is another pack of lies started by the United States. You’re just a **** 50 year pot smoker, so **** you too.
