Monday night’s The ReidOut on MSNBC, deranged MSNBC lib and turncoat former Republican Steve Schmidt melted down over former President and current GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump and compared him to Adolf Hitler. Schmidt seemed to take particular issue with Trump’s promise to have President Joe Biden’s mess cleaned up within six months. This set Schmidt off and he said this made Trump akin to Hitler because “it's how long it took Adolph Hitler to take Weimar Germany to a complete and total dictatorship.”

"The people who are trying to tear down democracy in the country keep telling the rest of the country what it is they plan to do to such a degree that they have announced their plans six months into 2025 to have taken apart the whole of the federal government," Schmidt cried. ...This is a racist code whistle to every white supremacist in the country because it's how long it took Adolph Hitler to take Weimar Germany to a complete and total dictatorship that included, by the way, the military swearing an oath of allegiance not to the nation but to the fuhrer," Schmidt slimed.

True, but the msm has an outsized impact that exceeds their audience.

By some alchemy I cannot gauge, their programming, seen by almost no one, somehow still appears to decide the shape and size of the overton window. 
 
It's not so much that they have very many genuine adherents as it is that they get to decide what gets discussed, I guess.
