 He had been due to return to the US for disciplinary proceedings, but managed to leave the airport and join a guided tour of the border village of Panmunjom on the heavily guarded Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) between the two countries. Pte King crossed into North Korea while on the tour.

      Sharpton will appear on camera with Travis's Mother, justifying his actions by claiming systemic racism in the Army.... The fact he was facing disciplinary action and a possible Discharge from the Military back in the States ---  and had already served 2 months in a South Korean prison for an assault on a Civilian, will matter little... 
 
     Keep in mind the Traitor US Army Soldier Bowe Bergdahl, who abandoned his comrades & post in Afghanistan (a Combat Zone in a time of War) --- and presented himself to the Taliban enemy... Not only didn't Bergdahl not serve any prison time, but the Obama administration traded 5 Taliban Commanders out of GITMO for his release.
