It's terrible the way some people treat children.
My parents are both long dead, as well as my ex-husband.
I can only talk to them in spirit now.
However, I have not chosen to do that as of yet.
Here's something to ponder:
  • Assume that there is something to near death experiences reported by those who have had them - you and I have already discussed this.
  • And, assume that we all go through some sort of a life-review and are re-connected with our family, loved ones and perhaps even loved ones from past lives
  • Do you believe that you will have to confront those people in your life who have abused you?  If abusers go to Hell, or something like Hell, then you too would have to go to where they are to confront them.  Or, do you believe they would be (I really hate to use this phrase)  "eternally separated" from your soul/spirit?

Those are great questions.
Do you believe that you will have to confront those people in your life who have abused you? No, I don't think so. They have to learn their lessons from that behavior, and I have to learn my lessons for that behavior. I believe that before we ever come to this plane we have a life plan. That plan includes completing karmas from past lives and experiences. For some reason I am not aware of yet, I chose those parents to learn some lesson. Maybe the lesson is compassion? I am working on learning from those experiences. Hopefully I can do it in this lifetime.

If abusers go to Hell, or something like Hell, then you too would have to go to where they are to confront them.  Or, do you believe they would be (I really hate to use this phrase)  "eternally separated" from your soul/spirit? I don't believe in 'hell'. I believe that when we pass, we go to a place that meets our vibration. So, a serial killer will go to a dark place (low vibration) because that spirit is dark and low vibration. I believe that spirit will be surrounded by angels and high vibrational beings like spirit guides to be healed. They will be surrounded by love until they can raise their vibration enough to get to a better place on the other side. If there is eternal punishment, it is something we do to ourselves because we are unable to accept the love offered over there. The Creator does not want us to suffer eternally.

In reading about OBEs you do hear of people who have terrible scary experiences. They report that they completely changed their lives when they came back to this side. They treated themselves and others better. They lived in love, and not negativity as they had been living before the experience. I often think of Hitler and what he saw when he passed. I wonder if he is still in the healing stages of his journey. I do believe we can all be healed. Some will take longer than others.
I also believe that some souls are so afraid of where they are going that they do decide not to pass into the light. That's where we get 'demons' and ghosts that like to scare us. That fear feeds their low vibration energy.

This has been an interesting discussion.  I do enjoy hearing your perspective on these things.  While I am not a particularly "spiritual" person, I find these things, and accounts of others, to be quite fascinating.   I myself, seem to have no perception of the supernatural - if it exists, I am blind to it. So, I can only learn about the possibility of these things from accounts of others. Where I find commonality among these various accounts, this is where I am open to considering there is some truth to them.

And getting to that point. Because I am!- I've seen what the medical establishment can do to a person. And how gross it is.!!!!!

It's really nice for me to have a discussion with someone with an open mind.
I appreciate you!

Oh, I've seen it too.  Medieval torture has nothing on what they do to a person after they F-up 9-ways-to-Sunday a heart valve replacement.

Likewise, I've enjoyed the discussion.  While I'm fairly close-minded when it comes to certain political matters, with most everything else I tend to have an insatiable curiosity. Your perspective is quite interesting.
