Very simple: A storied outfit that fought against Stalin - and lost - is probably going to have a deep sense of history and pride. It's highly unlikely that some deep connection to Nazism is interwoven in that heritage. The more likely reality is that they feel some connection to a previous noble house. Did Gorka Really Wear A Medal Linked To Nazi Ally To Trump Inaugural Ball?
I drink milk, and so did hitler, but that doesn't mean I believe in the holocaust.Hungarian scholars who spoke to TPM did not unanimously agree that the medal he wore on inauguration night could definitively be identified with Horthy’s Order of Vitéz. But they concurred that Gorka’s regalia is popular today among Hungary’s nationalist conservatives.

White House Nazi Maybe YOU’RE FIRED! No, The Other White House Nazi.
It sounds like the #Resistance might be working again, sorta kinda!
Reports have been swirling since Friday that Sebastian Gorka (whatever you do, don’t call him “Doctor Gorka”), the Hungarian Nazi who might have become a U.S. citizen under false pretenses, and whose “Ph.D” is, ahem, not actually a Ph.D by American standards, may be losing his job as a counter-terrorism adviser in the White House.
It’s not that he’s not qualified for the position — after all, he WAS a Breitbart editor.
It’s just that, you know, he’s a **** Nazi and stuff.
And he doesn’t seem to have the appropriate security clearance, which is probably Obama’s fault somehow. (He couldn’t get one in Hungary either. Unfair!)

I'm just saying that if there is any question about the medal being associated with the Nazis, maybe you don't wear it to the inauguration.
I think I read that the medal originally belonged to Gorka's father.
Check this out.

The people calling it "controversial" have an agenda to find controversy, to CREATE controversy. If God didn't want me to roll my eyes at such folks, he wouldn't live up in Heaven - the direction in which I roll them in a silent plea for delivery from asshattery.Misty » 03 May 2017 1:11 am » wrote: That might be true, but isn't a little tone deaf to wear such a controversial medal to the inauguration?
Maybe, but it seems like it's costing him his job in the White House, that he really didn't seem to be qualified for anyway.Cannonpointer » 03 May 2017 1:35 am » wrote:Not only do I not believe the man's a nazi - I don't believe the people pretending to believe he MIGHT be a nazi believe he's a nazi.

Not true.
There are some on the right who feel that access to health care is not a right.
For example Rep. Raúl Labrador (R-Idaho), who says that he does not believe that health care is a basic human right.
And Rep. Patrick Meehan (R-PA) said today that many of his Republican colleagues feel the same way.
That people are not entitled to health care.
If it's not a right, then what does that make it?
A privilege?

Comey Says Hillary's Team Broke the Law, but Not With Intent
BY PJ VIDEO MAY 3, 2017 CHAT 12 COMMENTS
FBI Director James Comey testified that the FBI took the investigation into Hillary Clinton's team, over their email security, very seriously. The main problem keeping the FBI from indicting Clinton seems to be that they couldn't prove intent. The bureau, however, proved that Clinton's team did not follow classified information security procedures.
Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) tried to examine other crimes in which intent was not necessary to prove guilt, like torture.

Big mouth Rudy Giuliani bragged about how FBI agents were talking to him about the Clinton investigation.FBI Investigating Possible Leaks To Rudy Giuliani About Hillary Clinton Email Investigation
FBI Director James Comey told senators Wednesday that the agency is looking into whether employees leaked information about the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails to members of Donald Trump’s team, including Rudy Giuliani.
Shortly before the election, Comey announced that he was reopening the probe into Clinton’s private server after more emails were found on the computer of former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.), who was married to a top Clinton aide.
A few days later, Giuliani went on Fox News and bragged that he knew in advance about the new emails.
“Did I hear about it? You’re darn right I heard about it,” said Giuliani, a prominent Trump surrogate and former New York City mayor.
He added that he had expected the news to come out weeks before.
Comey said he didn’t yet know whether anyone in the FBI had leaked information about the investigation to Giuliani or others, but it was a matter that he was “very very interested in.”
“If I find out that people were leaking information about our investigations, whether to reporters or to private parties, there will be severe consequences,” he told Sen. Pat Leahy (D-Vt.) in testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday.
“But you are looking into it?” Leahy asked.
“Correct,” Comey replied.
He said he would let the committee know the findings of this investigation, although he might not release them publicly.
It is a violation of F.B.I. policy for agents to share investigative information with anyone.Mr. Giuliani has publicly claimed that F.B.I. agents were telling him that Mrs. Clinton should have been criminally charged for the email server.
“It perplexes numerous F.B.I. agents who talk to me all the time,” Mr. Giuliani said during an August interview with Chris Cuomo on CNN.
“And it embarrasses some F.B.I. agents.”
[....]
“You have outraged F.B.I. agents that talk to me,” Mr. Giuliani said in an interview on Wednesday with Megyn Kelly on Fox News.
“They are outraged at the injustice. They are outraged at being turned down by the Justice Department to open a grand jury.
They are convinced that Loretta Lynch has corrupted the Justice Department.”

He lied to Bret Baier on March 9th, 2017 when he said that it was the first he ever heard about Flynn working for Turkey.
There were several media reports about it in November, 2016.
He was sent a letter about it in Nov. from the House Oversight Committee, and also in November Flynn's lawyers talked to the transition team (which Pence ran) about it.
The law about classified information doesn't say one thing about "intent," but Comey by himself let Hillary off on that non existent standard.
Anyone else would have been indicted.
