Really this fool thinks the laws against statutory rape, kidnapping, and crossing state lines to commit a crime are merely suggestions? He thinks that the abortion would eradicate her broken hymen, her testimony, the medical records and testimony of clinic staff and the cells containing his DNA that were removed from the girl? And finally he thinks that it can all be done in less time than her parents would notice her missing? I am temped to add that he thinks 13 year old girls hang out at swing sets in parks too. Seems like a lot of these Republican Congress Critters are trying to out-stupid one another. A guest (John Avlon) on Bill Maher's show Friday night said, "Hyper-partisanship makes you stupid and you start playing to the cheap seats."

Seems like a lot of these Republican Congress Critters are trying to out-stupid one another. Oh gosh, you caught a Repub making a carelessly worded remark. There's an Earth shattering issue. Meanwhile in the real world, the entire US risks national bankruptcy because of Obama's destructive leftist policies.

I have great credibility with almost every conservative who's ever been on the board.*Rich, I find you to be intellectually dishonest on regular basis, here. You incessently engage in personal attacks when you can't support your own argument, intentionally ignore contradictory data, and routinely represent your most inconsequential and irrational opinions (you know, the opinions you regurgitate from extreme right wing, neoconservative, drivil outlets) as unquestionable declarations of fact; then, due to your utter lack of cognitivity, you proceed to label those who rebuke you as liars, as opposed to logically support your assertion. Then, you simply repeat yourself over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over until your opponent realizes they're debating a cinder block and moves on...somehow you seem to think that means you have vanquished your forum adversaries, but it just makes you look retarded and childish. You should be the last person to run around accusing others of being dishonest, Rich.*Rich Clem is definitely over the top.*Rich, I saw you follow her (Misty) around and stalk her after each of her posts like you were a 10 year old with a crush. You refused to back off and insisted on making sure she was so smothered she wouldn't be able to breathe. You caused this singlehandedly. The fact that we agree politically is a side issue and non-relevent. You just don't know when to back off. You went far beyond what you should have in your attempt to prove a point.*Richclem isn't my hero.*I came in this thread hoping for some announcement that Richclem was banned but apparently he wasn't. If Shagmar was banned for posting such outrageous beliefs and that other guy was banned- shoot I forget what's his name that racist dude, shouldn't this guy also be banned?*that thing about misty blue and the wolves was pretty extreme.you should apologize to her for that and also for other things you said to her.*Seriously Rich, at what point does attempting to defend your opinions justify completely losing all your dignity?*I will ardently defend my right to call Clem a friggin' retard, and if that is considered "bashing the handicapped" then so be it.*Tag, I don't know if you care, but I've watched Missy Poo's conduct on the board, and you won't get a straight answer out her. She's either really wacky and unable to think clearly, or more likely, like so many on the liberal side, she's "lying for a good cause."I've never had any problems with her...just because you don't get the answer you want, doesn't mean you're not getting a genuine answer. That's what makes it a debate (this is a debate forum). On a side note...one who arbitrarily questions the integrity of another is of little integrity himself.

Is this the best you can do? All my years on the forum, and these are the only members you can cite? Silly moonbat.

Board BehaviorStarted by RichClem June 29, 2007To all those who claimed I'm the source of all strife and poor conduct, has anyone noticed that the atmosphere is far more reasonable?Obviously, I'm still here and the same person, yet for the most part, discussions are reasonable and name calling rather mild.To me it's obvious that the real source of the strife was some of the people who fled to OTL, in particular the foul mouthed Pundit-Hater and the unstable MikeK.Hasn't led to much agreement on issues between the two sides, but hope remains. In Arkansas, heh.Translation for the stupid: "I can bloviate here without fear of ever being called on any of my lies, exaggerations or snarkiness, because this is beginning to resemble Free Republic."Clem whines that he gets treated unfairly. Given the manner in which he usually presents his arguments, I find myself wondering if he's ever been able to maintain a personal relationship with another person for more than a few days. If he treats the people he meets face to face the way he treats others here, he leads a pariah's life. I'd guess that's why he can manage to post so much. He probably doesn't have anyone to go home to.

I apologize for saying that you don't care about rape. Now the ball is in your court.Let's see how you play it.Perhaps now we can get back to issues.Guess not.Missy Poo told The Big Lie I "don't care about rape."Sez the sociopath who told The Big Lie that I "don't care about rape."Missy Poo spread the ugly lie all over the forum that I "don't care about rape."You claimed that I "don't care about rape."Shrieks the wackjob who told The Big Lie all over the board that I "don't care about rape."She made the ugliest of attacks on me, that I "don't care about rape."You seriously lied that I "don't care about rape."She spread the ugly lie that I "don't care about rape."Compare the wild accusations and insults you directed at me with "I don't care about rape."It was your blatantly dishonest accusation that I "don't care about rape."You lied that I "don't care about rape."you tried to pin on me, you approve of rape.

FALSE ACCUSATIONS BY CLEM THE LIARIf my topics are removed by Missy Poo, I'm out of here.I won't tolerate any forum that allows my speech to be censored, particularly not by an untrustworthy hack like her on the silliest of pretexts.Teacher, any feedback about this?mykcob4 Moved a topic from No-Holds-Barred Political Chat Room to Spam room No-Holds-Barred Political Chat Room Why Scotus Matters In NovemberTopic ID: 28869 Jun 12 2008, 06:10 PM 72.64.91.99*Apparently clemmy is accusing Misty of trying to censor him. He knows it's a lie. Poor clemmy just can't understand why his credibility is in question. Now he is backpedaling, pretending that he doesn't know who the mods are and pretending that so what, it is not a big deal to accuse someone of trying to censor him. Why does clemmy feel so threatened by Misty?Really? Can you quote me expressing that? No, of course not.*Could it be that right wing mods are editing/censoring my posts? According to rushClem, that is the likely explanation. It's a rare thing when any attempt like that is made. It's happened to me twice, both by liberal moderators and once at Missy Poo's request, which makes her shrieking, hysterical response to my question all the more hilarious.CLEM CONTINUES TO LIE ABOUT ME CENSORING HIMI have had times when my threads were taken down, by MissyPoo if I recall correctly.

Feds Investigating Relationship Between VA Gov And DonorFBI agents are conducting interviews about the relationship between Virginia Gov. Robert F. McDonnell, his wife, Maureen, and a major campaign donor who paid for the food at the wedding of the governor's daughter, according to four people familiar with the questioning. The agents have been asking associates of the McDonnells about gifts provided to the family by Star Scientific chief executive Jonnie R. Williams Sr. and actions the Republican governor and his wife have taken that may have boosted the company, the people said.Among the topics being explored, they said, is the $15,000 catering bill that Williams paid for the 2011 wedding of McDonnell's daughter at Virginias historic Executive Mansion. But questions have extended to other, previously undisclosed gifts from Williams to Maureen McDonnell as well, they said. The interviews, at which Virginia State Police investigators were present, began in recent months as an outgrowth of a federal investigation into securities transactions involving Star Scientific, which produces a dietary supplement called Anatabloc. The company disclosed that probe in a regulatory filing last month, saying it had received subpoenas from the U.S. attorneys office for the Eastern District of Virginia. Now, federal officials are trying to determine whether to expand that investigation into a broader look at whether McDonnell or his administration took any action to benefit Star Scientific in exchange for monetary or other benefits, according to the four people familiar with the interviews. It is unclear whether the probe will be broadened.U.S. Attorney Neil H. MacBride declined to comment, as did spokespeople for the FBIs Richmond division and the state police.Tucker Martin, a spokesman for McDonnell, a possible 2016 presidential contender, said, "It is the policy of the governor's office to not comment on any possible investigations."Jerry Kilgore, an attorney for Williams, also declined to comment.McDonnell previously has said that he and his wife have known Williams for about five years, that they consider him a personal friend and that the first family's efforts on behalf of Virginia-based Star Scientific are typical of what any governor would do to promote the state's businesses and products. But the FBI interviews represent a potential escalation of the growing controversy about McDonnell and his wifes relationship with Williams, which has consumed the state capital in recent weeks.Williams and Star Scientific have given McDonnell and his political action committee more than $120,000 in publicly disclosed campaign donations and gifts, while the McDonnell family has received other benefits, such as a vacation at Williams's lake house in western Virginia. The McDonnells have taken actions to promote Star Scientific, including allowing the company to hold a 2011 luncheon marking the launch of Anatabloc at the governor's mansion. The focus of the FBI interviews has been to determine whether any of those actions constituted a quid pro quo - McDonnell using his office to promote the company in return for anything of value for him or his family - people familiar with the questioning said.Read more at link in title.Looks like Virginia is for crooks, not lovers.

Ghost Money From MI6 And CIA May Fuel Afghan Corruption, Say DiplomatsThe CIA and MI6 have regularly given large cash payments to Hamid Karzai's office with the aim of maintaining access to the Afghan leader and his top allies and officials, but the attempt to buy influence has largely failed and may have backfired, former diplomats and policy analysts say.The Guardian understands that the payments by British intelligence were on a smaller scale than the CIA's handouts, reported in the New York Times to have been in the tens of millions, and much of the British money has gone towards attempts to finance peace initiatives, which have so far proved abortive. That failure has raised questions among some British officials over whether eagerness to promote a political settlement may have been exploited by Afghan officials and self-styled intermediaries for the Taliban.Responding to the allegations while on a visit to Helsinki on Monday, Karzai said his national security council (NSC) had received support from the US government for the past 10 years, and the amounts involved were "not big" and were used for a variety of purposes including helping those wounded in the conflict. "It's multi-purpose assistance," he said, without commenting on the allegations that the money was fuelling corruption.Yama Torabi, the director of Integrity Watch Afghanistan said that the presidency's low-key response to the reports had "outraged people"."As a result, we don't know what was the amount of money that was given, what it was used for and if there was any corruption involved. Money when it is unchecked can be abused and this looks like one. In addition, it can be potentially used to corrupt politicians and political circles, but there is no way to know this unless there is a serious investigation into it," Torabi told The Guardian.Kabul sources told the Guardian that the key official involved in distributing the payments within the NSC was Ibrahim Spinzada, a close confidant of the president known as Engineer Ibrahim. There is, however, no evidence that Spinzada personally gained from the cash payments or that in distributing them among the president's allies and sometimes his foes he was breaking Afghan law.Officials say the payments, referred to in a New York Times report as "ghost money", helped prop up warlords and corrupt officials, deepening Afghan popular mistrust of the Kabul government and its foreign backers, and thereby helped drive the insurgency. The CIA money has sometimes caused divisions between the various branches of US government represented in Kabul, according to diplomats stationed in Kabul, particularly when it helped give the CIA chief of station in Kabul direct access to Karzai without the US ambassador's knowledge or approval. One former Afghan budgetary official told the Guardian: "On paper there was very little money that went to the National Directorate of Security (NDS, the Afghan intelligence service), but we knew they were taken care of separately by the CIA."The thing about US money is a lot of it goes outside the budget, directly through individuals and companies, and that opens the way for corruption."Khalil Roman, who served as Karzai's deputy chief of staff from 2002 until 2005, told the New York Times: "We called it 'ghost money'. It came in secret, and it left in secret."One American official told the newspaper: "The biggest source of corruption in Afghanistan was the United States."Read more at link in title.I wonder how many hot meals for seniors (Meals On Wheels) or how much formula for babies (WIC) all those tens of millions of dollars could have provided?
