I need to vent about the way that James Comey was fired.

I believe that Clinton was the only POTUS to ever have fired an FBI director, and he did it for very good cause.
William Sessions was dirty.

He had abused his power and misused FBI resources to fund travel and vacations for him and his wife.

He improperly billed the FBI nearly $10,000 for a fence around his home, and refused to turn over documents on his $375,000 home mortgage, which investigators said they suspected involved a 'sweetheart deal.'

And he (Clinton) also did it in a dramatically different fashion.

First of all, there was a long investigation, after which the Department of Justice produced a 161-page internal report with sworn testimony from more than 100 FBI agents citing the numerous and severe ethical failures of Director William Sessions.

Secondly Clinton informed Sessions in person that he was dismissed from his job.

And thirdly Clinton held a press conference at which he announced the firing and took questions from the press.

Clinton also had someone already lined up to replace Sessions.

Fast forward to today and we have a president who calls his AG and Deputy AG to the WH on May 8th.

The Deputy AG then issues a memo the next day recommending that the FBI director should be fired for the way he handled the Hillary Clinton investigation last year.

AG Jeff Sessions writes a cover letter and it's sent to 45 who writes a letter that same day firing Comey.

Now this is the best part.

Does 45 even give Comey the courtesy of a phone call? NO, he does not.

He has his long time personal body guard deliver a letter to FBI headquarters.

Surely he knew or should have known before he sent the letter, that Comey was not at FBI headquarters that day.

He was in California speaking to some of his employees, when a TV set behind him flashes the "Breaking News" that he has been fired.

Comey thinks it's a joke being played on him by his employees and he laughs and says that it's a 'funny prank' until his aides pull him into another room and tell him that it's not a prank.

So here is my thing.

What did Comey do that was so bad that he should have been treated in a such a low class and shabby manner?

Did he murder someone?

Did he steal money like William Sessions did?

45 treated the contestants he fired on The Apprentice with more class and dignity than that.

Why was it necessary to humiliate the man like that?

Comey is a decent man who had a good reputation and did not deserve to be treated that way.

In fact no one really deserves to be treated that way.

This is one of the main reasons why I have issues with 45.

It's about his temperament.

The way he treated Comey was mean, vicious and cruel.

And it was uncalled for.

I'm sure that 45's loyal Trumpkins will defend this, just like they do everything else he does, and the thought of that makes me sick to my stomach.

Look at how moonbats go from bitterly complaining that Comey stole the election from Hillary to expressing fake sympathy for him.

Utterly pathetic.

Oh my gosh, how utterly ridiculous. Arguably the worst thing he did is interfere with the process of justice to save Hillary Clinton from indictment for the many felonies she committed.

As Rosenstein noted, he usurped power meant for professionals in the Justice Dept. It is absolutely not the job of the FBI to declare who should be indicted and who should not.
Further, Comey mis-represented what the law is by lying that intent was necessary for prosecution, then ridiculously claimed that "extremely careless" with classified info is not "gross negligence."

Loretta Lynch could not have made that decision, so it could have been left to someone in the Obama Justice Dept. who had integrity and courage.
Can't have that! :\
I'm sure that 45's loyal Trumpkins will defend this, just like they do everything else he does, and the thought of that makes me sick to my stomach.
I reserve judgment over how Comey was fired, but he absolutely should have been.

And I strongly suspect Trump had strong reasons to do so when Comey was out of DC.

It's not 'fake' sympathy jackass.
I dare you to tell me that Comey or anyone else for that matter deserved to be fired in the disgusting manner that 45 did it?
Are you really a big enough piece of **** to do that?
Don't answer.
That's rhetorical.
We know you are.
You're a plenty big enough piece of **** to think that Comey got what he deserved.

And when did I say that Comey 'stole' the election from Hillary?
What he did certainly wasn't to her advantage, but her loss can't be blamed on what Comey did alone.
To start with, she was a terrible candidate, and she ran an awful campaign.

I actually defended Comey releasing his letter to Congress in October.
I said at the time that he was caught between a rock and a hard place.

Had he not informed Congress that he was re-opening the investigation and she had won the election and then it came out after the election, he would have been pilloried for 'protecting' her.

You would have been the first one in line to call for his scalp.

Besides he had FBI agents in New York where the investigation was taking place, who would undoubtedly have leaked it.
They were leaking like sieves to Rudy Giuliani.

Any more lies you wanna tell today?

As far as hypocrisy, you Trumpkins were all giddy when he re-opened the investigation in October.
Now, because he's investigating the Trump campaign, you need him gone.

Not for nothing misty you claimed I have trolled and lied. Let's analyze this.

1. I told Clem that we should stick to addressing your alleged factual comments. Not sure why you find that offensive. As a matter of fact you would think a stable person would appreciate that. You are stable, correct?

2. I then said "she has Peanut Gallery turned on". That is not a lie, you do,

3. I then stated you changed the name of the thread. That is not a lie, you did change the name.

So we have just established that there is no lie in the post you quoted. We have also established simply by looking at the post that there is no insult which means there is no trolling.

So tell the group misty exactly why you panties are in a wad over this?

:omg:
