You are, no doubt, laboring under the assumption that somebody here gives a **** about your credentials.Sgt Bilko » 18 May 2017 2:58 am » wrote: Poor wee little indago has a problem understanding how classified material is handled. There are levels of classification. The three main levels are confidential, secret, and top secret. Beyond that there are special programs that a person can be read into. For example I had a confidential level but was read into a couple of programs above that level. I was involved with tanks, artillery, and fighters. Learned secrets in all three areas. I never disclosed any secrets. Violating that would have put me in jail. I preferred to remain free!!!

It is one thing to question one's credentials. It is quite another to prove that they are wrong.indago » 18 May 2017 7:01 am » wrote: You are, no doubt, laboring under the assumption that somebody here gives a **** about your credentials.
Hmmmm! Didn't budge...
Of course, it's not about credentials, rather experience using and safekeeping of classified material, but you make it into bragging about credentials. This is why you leftists get laughed out of the room so often.indago » 18 May 2017 7:01 am » wrote:

If he didn't want his "credentials" to be subjected, he wouldn't have brought them up...larryc12 » 18 May 2017 7:31 am » wrote: Of course, it's not about credentials, rather experience using and safekeeping of classified material, but you make it into bragging about credentials. Good luck.
Ok, I will give you that. But I will say as one who has had dealings with all sorts of highly classified systems and locations I do give a **** about a person's credential when we are talking about this particular subject. Where someone like may be getting their information from a second hand source like the media who is mostly inaccurate on the subject some of us actually have working experience concerning the subject meaning we were subject to the rules and laws.indago » 18 May 2017 8:50 am » wrote: If you could read, you would notice that I didn't "question one's credentials"...
I guess you wouldn't want your experience with an issue on a debating forum to use as backing what you say about it.indago » 18 May 2017 8:49 am » wrote:

No, you just used an ad hominem about them.indago » 18 May 2017 8:50 am » wrote:

What "Credibility" are we talking about here?larryc12 » 18 May 2017 9:02 am » wrote: I guess you wouldn't want your experience with an issue on a debating forum to use as backing what you say about it.Credibility counts, does it not?
You don't like the guy so you slap at him about using his experience to make a valid point in a debating forum. That's simple, willful ignorance and typical of the leftist. Find a put down somehow, some way, valid or not.indago » 18 May 2017 9:05 am » wrote:

Experience, something you know little about or care about when you don't like someone.indago » 18 May 2017 9:07 am » wrote:

I'll give you an example. If you want advice on how to start a business, run that business, grow that business and create jobs who are you going to listen to? The individuals that have successfully accomplished all of the above OR the person who has listened only to those whose only experience in those areas has been discussing theory in academia?indago » 18 May 2017 9:07 am » wrote: What "Credibility" are we talking about here?
And when I facetiously posted Nixon's preposterous declaration, and some — including yourself — have taken it seriously, "What "Credibility" are we talking about here?"Huey » 18 May 2017 9:29 am » wrote: I'll give you an example. Who has more credibility?

Alex Jones backed down. Again.
The far-right conspiracy theorist agreed Wednesday to settle a defamation lawsuit filed against him by Greek yogurt manufacturer Chobani.
The key component of the settlement agreement required him to retract inflammatory comments about refugees and the company he made on his Infowars broadcast last month.
(Jones targeted Chobani when, last summer, three children assaulted a 5-year-old girl. The story spread through right-wing media that the attackers — 14, 10 and 7 — were from refugee families. The false narrative pushed by Jones included the involvement of Syrians, rape and urinating in the victim’s mouth. Jones linked it — along with some unrelated cases of tuberculosis — to Chobani. All of it was untrue.)
“During the week of April 10, 2017, certain statements were made on the Infowars, Twitter feed and YouTube channel regarding Chobani LLC that I now understand to be wrong.
The tweets and video have now been retracted, and will not be re-posted,” Jones said.
“On behalf of Infowars, I regret that we mischaracterized Chobani, its employees and the people of Twin Falls, Idaho, the way we did.”
It marks the latest blow to Jones, who in March apologized and issued a retraction to a Washington, D.C.-based pizzeria for his broadcast’s role in pushing a false story about a child sex ring that involved Hillary Clinton.
And just over two weeks ago, Jones’ ex-wife won the right to determine who his three children would live with in a high-profile custody case in which his lawyers argued his on-air personality was a performance.
Jones, whose YouTube channel has more than 2 million subscribers, drew the ire of Chobani when in early April he published a video and promoted it on Twitter with a headline that read “Idaho Yogurt Maker Caught Importing Migrant Rapists.”
The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Twin Falls last month, said that link had received more than 22,000 views as of April 21 and the tweet pushing it had more 147 retweets.
Chobani said in its lawsuit that Jones’ statements “have caused and continue to cause harm to Idaho residents, including Chobani employees, their families and other members of the Twin Falls community.”
The lawsuit sought damages in excess of $10,000 and a retraction and removal of the posts.
Chobani didn't issue a comment on the settlement and would only say the matter has been resolved.
Oh yeah, that Chobani smear made a huge difference to the country.Misty » 18 May 2017 10:09 am » wrote:Alex Jones settles Chobani defamation lawsuit and retracts comments about refugees in Twin Falls, Idaho.
