I am not the least bit surprised that you would defend someone committing a violent assault who is now an actual Republican member of Congress.

Like I have said many times......
As long as they have an R after their name, you will defend anything they do.

Be it screwing the daughter of their long time girlfriend, emailing racist cartoons and bestiality videos or now even violently slamming someone to the ground.

All things which you have defended.

I didn't "defend" him, liar.

I wrote the following:
We're not fine with it, but I absolutely will vote for someone with an anger problem over some leftist wackjob whose philosophy would literally destroy the country was we know it.

You're just upset that 1) there are no Democrat rapists/ felons on whose behalf you can lie as you did for years

2) your philosophy is dying.

3) your party is ****.

Not that you'll answer, who is worse, someone who sends porno or racist emails?

Or an actual, real life serial rapist/ serial felon?

This is what is called a classic backfire.
The GOP's Twitter Just Came for Hillary Clinton, and She Promptly Shut It Down

The Republican Party's Twitter account got exactly what it asked for Wednesday, after a series of tweets attempting to troll prominent Democrats.

It took aim at Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Clinton, much to the GOP's chagrin, actually responded.

Here's the tweet.

Image

Well, when you're asked a question, it's only polite to answer.

So she did.

Image

Once again it seemed Clinton was prepared to actually answer questions and had genuine policy ideas.

That seemed pretty familiar to Calvin Stowell.

Image

Um ...

Image

As if Clinton coming through with a response wasn't enough, people hopped on the GOP's Twitter to question exactly why it was asking anyway.

Image

Some just wanted to say thank you.

Image

Mr. Mustang came through with a friendly reminder.

Image

Nolen Gertz just said what most of Twitter seemed to be thinking.

Podesta is a deeply corrupt hack who illicitly earned $35 million from the Russians. Weren't you supposedly very, very, VERY concerned about such things?

And he committed at least one felony.

What do you babble stupidly about? Trump's apparent mistake in a tweet.

What don't you care about? The Democrat-committed felony, as usual.

Which one of them is sitting in the WH you stupid jackass?

His apparent mistake?

How do you figure it was a mistake?

Was he hearing voices when he claimed that EVERYONE at the G 20 was talking about John Podesta?

It wasn't a mistake, it was a lie.
It was meant for the ignorant members of his base like you who don't care if he tells them a bunch of filthy lies.

They actually seem to enjoy it.

If you are talking about Congressman Scalise developing an infection, no one is cheering that.

You Trumplodytes lie as easily as you breathe, just like the Tweeting Cheeto does.

I would NEVER 'sparkle inside' over anyone getting shot, no matter what their political ideology.

Don't project YOUR own hateful attitude onto me.

I guess you missed the part where Rachel Maddow thoroughly researched the documents that were sent to her, which if real, would have been very damaging to T-Bag, and she proved that they were forgeries.

She did her job, but you smacked her down anyway.

Bret Stephens rips Hannity over Buckley award.

Conservative New York Times columnist Bret Stephens on Thursday tore into Fox News host Sean Hannity, saying that his receipt of a conservative media award marks the entrance of the conservative movement into an "idiot stage."

Channeling billionaire Warren Buffett's theory that history cycles through "'the innovators, the imitators and the idiots,'" Stephens wrote in a Times op-ed that the conservative Media Research Center's decision to award Hannity the William F. Buckley Jr. Award for Media Excellence signaled the decline of the conservative movement.

Hannity fired back in a series of tweets, waving off his criticism and saying that the conservative columnist hasn't authored anything "memorable."

Image

In his column, Stephens wrote that neither the organization nor the award "is particularly noteworthy."

But he wrote that it was significant an award named after a conservative of Buckley's stature would be given to Hannity, for whom Stephens has a low opinion.

"But sometimes symbolism is more potent than fact," Stephens writes.

"If we have reached the point where rank-and-file conservatives see nothing amiss with giving Hannity an award named for Buckley, then surely there's a Milton Friedman Prize awaiting Steve Bannon for his insights on free trade.

And maybe Sean Spicer can receive the Vaclav Havel International Prize for Creative Dissent for his role in exposing 'fake news.'

The floor's the limit."

Or, for Hannity, Stephens added, "the crawl space beneath it."

Hannity, an ultraconservative television and radio host, has become known for his bombastic style and fierce on-air support for President Trump.

Stephens lambasted the Fox News personality, however, as a drastically different conservative than Buckley, who helped pioneer the modern conservative movement in the U.S.

"And so we reach the Idiot stage of the conservative cycle, in which a Buckley Award for Sean Hannity suggests nothing ironic, much less Orwellian, to those bestowing it, applauding it, or even shrugging it off," he writes.

"The award itself is trivial, but it's a fresh reminder of who now holds the commanding heights of conservative life, and what it is that they think."

Besides mocking Stephens and the Times, Hannity tweeted that it has never been his intention to emulate Buckley or any other conservative thinker.

You mean felonies and deep corruption doesn't matter if someone lost the presidential election? :\

That's just one of your endless excuses for lying about a Republican while ignoring huge scandals by members of your party.

Did you write one single word about the Clinton's and their hacks' corruption and felonies BEFORE she lost in November?

No, you could care less, but you will lie for months about a conservative.

You know, the guy who body slammed the reporter?

That 'ugly behavior' was committed by the 'elected official' himself, not by one of his 'supporters.'

Republicans seem fine with the fact that they now have a member of Congress who pleaded guilty to assault.
You have a very selective biased understanding of the issue. Conservatives prefer discussion. Leftwing moonbats never allow that by shutting down conservatives by any means possible including violence. This has been done on college campuses across the nation. Why do you ignore the violence the leftwing moonbats commit!!

Acts of Terror: A History of Left-Wing Political Violence in America

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government ... n-america/

After a Bernie Sanders campaign volunteer attempted to assassinate Republican members of Congress in Virginia, many on the left began insisting that “both sides” need to moderate their violent political rhetoric. But history proves that most major incidents of political violence and assassination attempts were committed by leftists in the United States.

Democrat volunteer James T. Hodgkinson opened fire as Republicans practiced for a charity baseball game, seriously wounding Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), on June 14, 2017. Immediately thereafter, the New York Times blamed Republican “violent rhetoric” for the Democrat shooter’s actions. And as the nation took stock of Hodgkinson’s actions, many voices also called for “both sides” to stop with the harsh political rhetoric. The conceit is that “both sides” are responsible for Hodgkinson’s crime.
