I will take the least productive over that any day if they are following the constitution.
Not only that, but who was president in 2015? That intransigent leftist Barack Obama.

There wasn't any serious effort to pass legislation even in committee, because Obama was never going to sign it.

Fox News lied all day about Comey leaking classified info — then spent 10 seconds correcting it.

Fox News repeatedly, and breathlessly, reported that former FBI Director James Comey had leaked “top secret information” in his memo about Donald Trump trying to pressure him to drop the investigation of Michael Flynn.

Except it wasn’t true.

How did Fox News fix this egregious day-long error?

With a quick ten-second “whoopsie.”

Fox News conveniently pushed the Comey story to deflect attention from the growing scandal over Donald Trump Jr.’s self-professed collusion in agreeing to meet with a Russian government official to receive incriminating information about Hillary Clinton in an effort to help Trump’s election.

And Donald Trump, who spends his days watching TV (Trump has literally nothing on his schedule for today), dutifully joined in the chorus of misinformation:

It is if it's received from a foreign national.
It's a violation of campaign finance laws.

Rob Goldstone who organized the meeting made it clear that the information was 'part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump' so Fredo knew it was coming from the Russian government.

Fredo illegally solicited a contribution from a foreign national — in the form of opposition research.
That is a violation of 52 USC 30121, 36 USC 510.

Pence spokesman dodges Fox News questions about whether the VP met with Russians-Video

After Tuesday’s major revelations that Donald Trump Jr. met with a Russian lawyer last July for dirt on Hillary Clinton after receiving an email describing the information as “part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump,” Vice President Mike Pence’s press secretary Marc Lotter went on America’s Newsroom on Fox News on Wednesday to remind the nation that Pence was not yet part of the ticket at that time.

But even in the friendly confines of Fox News, host Bill Hemmer repeatedly pressed Lotter to say whether Pence himself has met with representatives of Russia during the campaign.

And repeatedly, Lotter did not say no.

Hemmer first asked, “Did the vice president ever meet with representatives from Russia?”

Lotter dodged this, noting that Pence’s focus “was on talking to the American people” about Trump and his agenda.

Hemmer tried again: “Did he ever meet with representatives from the Russian government during the campaign?”

Lotter oddly responded that question was “stuff that the special prosecutors and the counsels are all looking at,” before again noting that Pence’s focus was “talking to the American people, taking his case to the people, and making sure the people knew why they needed to send President Trump and Vice President Pence to Washington.”

Finally, Hemmer simply asked, “Is that a ‘yes’ or ‘no?’ Did he or did he not? And was it relevant, in fact?”

Lotter said that he was “not aware of anything that I have seen,” before noting that he’d seen during the campaign and since that Vice President Pence has been “focused on working the agenda that the people send him to Washington to accomplish.”
If the answer was NO it would be a pretty easy question to answer.

Not the one that was leaked.
Trump and Fox News Think Comey Leaked Classified Information. Did He?

From the Hill:

Comey testified last month he considered the memos to be personal documents and that he shared at least one of them with a friend.

He asked that friend, a lawyer at Columbia University, to leak information from one memo to the news media in hopes of increasing pressure to get a special prosecutor named in the Russia case after Comey was fired as FBI director.

Comey insisted in his testimony he believed his personal memos were unclassified, though he hinted one or two documents he created might have been contained [sic] classified information.

“I immediately prepared an unclassified memo of the conversation about Flynn and discussed the matter with FBI senior leadership,” he testified about the one memo he later leaked about former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

Contrary to the implication of both Trump’s tweet and the Fox & Friends segment, nowhere in the report does the Hill claim that Comey actually gave classified information to his friend at Columbia.

The report merely states that most of the memos Comey wrote were marked as containing some classified information when they were recently shown to Congress.

In fact, the Hill’s John Solomon noted that it’s unclear whether the classified information in the memos was classified at the time the memos were written and Politico’s Austin Wright reports Monday afternoon that some of Comey’s memos were indeed classified only retroactively.

The bottom line is that we don't know what exactly Comey gave to his friend, how much of it is classified, or when it was classified.
Got it?
The article doesn't say that he gave his friend a classified document.
It says that some of the memos he handed over to Congress were marked classified.

Comey testified that the memo that was leaked was prepared in an unclassified manner.

COMEY: “I immediately prepared an unclassified memo of the conversation about Flynn and discussed the matter with FBI senior leadership,” he testified about the one memo he later leaked about former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

Does Frum call himself patriotic for supporting a deeply corrupt serial felon for president and letting her serial felon/ serial rapist gain power again as co-president?

Does he call himself patriotic for participating in a silent coup against a duly elected president?

He hasn't been anyone worth listening to for many, many, many years.

**** him, the sellout.

Yeah, you'll spread all kinds of ****.

They weren't his "personal memos," psycho. They were taken during work time on government property. They are the property of the US government.

And if they were serious enough to be classified later, he as FBI Director should have known not to leak them, and almost certainly lots of other material against his boss, the President of the U.S.

Aside from lying and dissembling under oath, Comey absolutely betrayed the president on the preposterous charge of "obstruction of justice."

Saying,"I hope....." isn't obstruction of justice, and Comey absolutely knew that from his years as an FBI official.

Try reading things before you just answer in a knee jerk fashion.

No where in The Hill article does it say that he 'leaked' anything marked classified.
Only that some of the memos he turned over to members of Congress (who have security clearance)
were marked classified.

Both FOX News and The Tweeting Cheeto said that he 'leaked' classified memos, and it wasn't true.
FOX retracted the claim.
T-Bag did not.

Okay.
Steele's research was initially funded by Republicans who did not want Trump to be the Republican Party nominee for president.
So we can start there.
