It's a violation of campaign finance laws.

Rob Goldstone who organized the meeting made it clear that the information was 'part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump' so Fredo knew it was coming from the Russian government.

Fredo illegally solicited a contribution from a foreign national — in the form of opposition research.
That is a violation of 52 USC 30121, 36 USC 510.
A source on Fox specifically addressed this, and as usual you're utterly full of crap. The law specifically allows services and information provided by foreign governments.

Beyond that, the penalty for violating this isn't criminal; it's a fine.

Not only that, but this utter minor supposed violation of law is microscopic compared to the massive illegal fundraising that Bill Clinton did; one of many charges that would have been brought against him had the Senate held a full trial.

All of which you dishonestly denied for years.
What a complete and utter joke you are.

Yet you called ME a psycho, not my source.

Whether or not they were his 'personal memos' was not even under discussion, until you dragged it in.
What was being discussed was the fact that FOX News and T-Bag lied about Comey leaking classified memos.

FOX continued that lie for one full day and then only gave it a 10 second retraction.

**** the rest of your post.
I didn't even read it.
You're as crazy as a loon.

Is that the same FOX that lied for 24 hours about Comey leaking classified memos?

What, you cite sources you don't agree with?
Whether or not they were his 'personal memos' was not even under discussion, until you dragged it in.
Given that Comey testified under oath that they were, it is yet one more nail in the coffin of his reputation. He told other lies under oath.
You're as crazy as a loon.
Oh, I thought the person who's crazy as a loon is the one who's spread lies and smears against a sitting president without a shred of evidence to back them up.

Psycho. :loco:

Being wrong for 24 hours isn't same as lying, liar.

But it's really hilarious coming from someone who cites that corrupt MSM that has lied for months.

And not that you'll admit it, you're full of crap, which is why you didn't respond to my points.

That's your long, long, long history on the board; when crucial evidence is presented, you refuse to read it.

Are you really this stupid or are you just pretending to be?

The discussion that roadkill and I were having had nothing to do with whether or not Comey's memos were his personal property.

It was a discussion solely about whether Comey leaked classified material.
And that was the only part of the article that I was concerned with.

Is there some rule that you can't use a source to make your argument, unless you are willing to say that you agree with 100% of everything in it?

Is that the Clem rule?

The only 'crucial evidence' you've ever presented is that you should be sedated and locked in a padded room.

Steele's research was initially funded by Republicans who did not want Trump to be the Republican Party nominee for president.
So we can start there.

Yeah. It's just me protesting.
You're the one trying to define opposition research as collusion, yet you were the one posting the rumors in the Steele dossier. Were you colluding with a British national to affect the outcome of a federal election?

For years they perpetuated the lie that the right was inciting violence. Aside from the fringe they claimed main stream right wingers were violent although they had to spin and stretch the truth. Like the Palin target map. Here you have Mainstream Lefties continuing to say stupid things and acting violently at protests yet they refuse to acknowledge this.

Funny that the NYT had to walk back their claim that Palin's map caused the shooting of Gabby Giffords.

After the Scalise shooting they said no connection between Palin's map and the Gabby shooting was established.

Good luck with that. I started a thread on that yesterday. Not much traffic.

Hell, I would be happy if the democrats and moderate/progressive pubs just followed current law.
