Let's see how Clem blames the Liberal MSM for this:
Trump isolated as US military, business and political leaders condemn racism.

US President Donald Trump found himself more isolated than at any point in his presidency on Thursday, cast aside by business allies, condemned by prominent Republicans and the subject of a rare, if coded rebuke from two living predecessors.

The backlash over his failure unequivocally to condemn racism and white supremacy, in the aftermath of violent far-right protests in Charlottesville at the weekend, culminated in the rancorous dissolution of two business advisory panels and an avalanche of condemnation from across the political spectrum.

But members of Trump's administration, some of whom privately expressed exasperation over his self-inflicted crisis, remained loyal in public.

Vice President Mike Pence, who unexpectedly cut short a visit to South America to return for meetings at the Camp David presidential retreat, said he stood by Trump and his comments.

Republicans were divided in their response.

Some condemned Trump by name, but others confined themselves to more general disavowals of racism and white supremacy.

Trump remained defiant on Thursday, castigating his critics in early-morning tweets, claiming he was misrepresented by the media.

The crisis was ignited by Trump's equivocal response to the violence at a "Unite the Right" gathering in Charlottesville on Saturday.

A woman was killed and more than 30 people injured after a car, driven by a "Unite the Right" supporter, rammed into a crowd of counter-protesters.

Trump first blamed "many sides" for the trouble, before issuing a fuller condemnation of the violence and white supremacy on Monday.

But on Tuesday, at an impromptu Q&A at Trump Tower in New York, reverted to his initial equivocation, saying there was "blame on both sides."

His response has been widely condemned by political leaders across the country as well as internationally.
"Trump remained defiant on Thursday, castigating his critics in early-morning tweets, claiming he was misrepresented by the media."

Misrepresented by the media?
Does he not know that we can hear what comes out of his mouth for ourselves?

Hey psycho, he accurately said there were good people on both sides, other than the racists and ANTIFA. That's factually true.

He said both sides were involved in the violence. That's factually true.

You lied about both and so did the corrupt liberal MSM.

Apples and oranges.
If a forum, any forum, allows free speech, that forum isn't to blame when wackjobs of any kind write ugly speech.

Are you to blame for ugly comments on this website? Great. You're a racist.

Again, we are not talking about political forums.

We are talking about a site that calls itself a NEWS site.
So stop dishonestly trying to conflate the two.

Name one legitimate NEWS site that would allow a long string of those kinds of filthy racist comments to stand.

And I don't mean one of your wingnut sites, I mean a legitimate NEWS outlet.

See, if you're a "news" website, you can't allow free speech. You must censor what you don't like.

So by her idiotic reasoning, Breitbart cannot get credit for the reasonable, non-racist articles they write.

Those you point to are outnumbered by his supporters.

Something Democrats are trying to ignore.

ACA had Obama win the prestigious Pinocchio Award for by promising cheaper insurance and keeping your doctor. It hurt small businesses with the 50 full time employee rule. It cost more and lots of doctors failed to sign up since it didn't pay enough to break even. Also Dodd Frank financial law created major problems for small businesses with the same 50 employee rule. The results of progressive idiocy is a backlash with the following.

1. Congress went Republican at his first midterm election.
2. President and Congress are Republican.
3. State governors and legislatures in 36 states are Republican.
4. Only 6 states are Democrat.
5. The remaining states went from Democrat to mixed.

The county election map of the country shows a sea of red with two spots of blue in southern California and southern NY.

Thank you Obama!!!

Pelosi Wants Conservative Rally in San Fran Shut Down Despite No Supremacists

http://www.libertyheadlines.com/pelosi- ... /?AID=7236

August 17, 2017 Emily Larsen 109 Comments

(Emily Larsen, Liberty Headlines) Minority House Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and other San Francisco leaders say a conservative rally planned in San Francisco for Saturday is a white supremacist rally, and want the National Park Service to reconsider the rally’s permit in the wake of the violence at Charlottesville.

“I am deeply alarmed by the hateful and dangerous nature of the event, its timing so soon after the horrors in Charlottesville, and the serious questions over whether the National Park Service is at all equipped to ensure public safety during a white supremacist rally,” said Pelosi in a statement. “The NPS should reevaluate its decision and its capacity to protect the public during such a toxic rally.”

But the organizers of the Patriot Prayer rally rejected the claim, noting that nearly all the planned rally speakers are of color. Joey Gibson, the organizer of the series of rallies, denounced the accusations of white supremacy on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

“Actually, I’m not white. We have about eight speakers and only one speaker is white,” said Gibson. “We have a couple black speakers, Hispanic, we have a transsexual speaker, we have a woman speaker, it’s very diverse.”

Other San Francisco leaders also called on the National Park Service to reconsider the rally. Board of Supervisors President London Breed, Mayor Ed Lee and Chief of Police Bill Scott sent a letter to the National Park Service expressing their “outrage” at the permit being granted.

“Events in Charlottesville and Seattle are proof that rallies such as these attract extreme and racist fringe groups who only want to provoke malice and incite brutality,” the letter stated.

Individually, Breed was more explicit with his warning: “You are not welcome here, don’t come to San Francisco, we are going to do everything we can to stop you.”

Patriot Prayer previously held rallies around the Northwest, attended by a broad range of far right-leaning individuals and protested by those on the far-left, including Antifa. On the Patriot Prayer Facebook page, the group states it aims to use “the power of love and prayer to fight the corruption both in the government and citizen levels that seek to gain power through division and deception.”

Patriot Prayer came under fire when brawls broke out between rally attendees and protesters and a few fringe white nationalists showed up at a rally in Portland, Ore. A Seattle rally that followed was much calmer, and Gibson made sure to exile white supremacist groups and even invited Black Lives Matter counter-protesters on stage.

“[E]veryone’s picking up the rhetoric right now,” Gibson said on Tucker Carlson Tonight. “I went to Seattle, a city council member said I was a white supremacist…. [T]hese politicians, they believe it’s okay to lie. We let them get away with it.”

Gibson expressed concern that Pelosi’s accusations will bring out even more violent left-wing protesters and make the rally more unsafe, wondering if she is trying to bait violent white supremacists into attending for the sake of furthering her own political goals.

“I really just think she’s trying to further her own agenda,” said Gibson of Pelosi. “She feels like it’s okay to lie and to be deceptive. She has a long history of lying. And I don’t get why San Francisco puts up with that.”

According to Gibson, one silver lining is that Pelosi’s accusation gives the rally more publicity and will attract more supporters. He concluded by reiterating that white supremacists are not welcome at the Patriot Prayer rallies.

“I can give you my word that we’re not going to allow any white supremacists in, we’re not going to let any Nazis in,” Gibson said. “I mean, how in the world can you be a white supremacist and supported Obama

Both sides my ***.

Deandre Harris beaten by Charlottesville white supremacists.

A savage attack on a counter-protester during Saturday’s violent “Unite the Right” rally in Virginia evoked memories of the ugliest days of the civil rights movement, an original Freedom Rider said Monday.

Among the victims of the Charlottesville violence was a local resident who joined his friends to demonstrate against the organizers of the white nationalist event in the city’s Emancipation Park.

Deandre Harris, 20, was attacked in a parking lot by a group of white supremacists who kicked him, punched him and pummeled him with metal poles.

Video posted on Twitter shows the aspiring hip-hop artist desperately trying to escape his attackers as they repeatedly strike him with poles and other objects. The images provide disturbing insight into the level of hate behind the actions of some of the white nationalists.

Trump’s Lawyer Peddles Pro-Confederacy Talking Points Email, May Literally Be Your Racist Uncle

You know how your kinda, sorta racist uncle sometimes forwards you things?

Donald Trump’s lawyer—shockingly—is just like that.

On Wednesday, the New York Times got hold of an email forwarded by President Trump’s personal lawyer John Dowd that, in part, consists of a patently absurd ahistorical comparison between Robert E. Lee and George Washington—not to mention Napoleon and Shaka Zulu.

I know that all sounds a bit circuitous, but just give it a second.

The email Dowd deemed worthy enough to forward carried the subject line “The Information that Validates President Trump on Charlottesville” and presented itself as talking points for Trump’s response to Charlottesville, during which, in an effort to never admit he’s wrong, Trump has painted him into a corner where the only escape hatch is arguing the leader of the Confederate Army is the real hero here.

“You cannot be against General Lee and be for General Washington,” the email reads, “there literally is no difference between the two men.”

Image

The talking points read like a dystopian SAT question.

“You’re sticking your nose in my personal email?” Mr. Dowd told the Times in response to questions about the email.

“People send me things. I forward them.”

Just like your racist uncle.

One difference here is that this is the president of the United States’ lawyer.

A second point of interest is that Dowd didn’t just send the crackpot equivalency to his family (although he also sent it to them), according to the Times, he also relayed it to the Wall Street Journal editorial page and journalists at Fox News and the Washington Times.

What about the author of the email made the president of the United States’ lawyer think it was worth flagging the Wall Street Journal editorial page?

“The email’s author, Jerome Almon, runs several websites alleging government conspiracies and arguing that the F.B.I. has been infiltrated by Islamic terrorists,” according to the Times.

“He once unsuccessfully sued the State Department for $900 million over claims of discrimination.” Seems legit. Sign him up. Perhaps he has some ideas on health care reform.

You may be wondering how someone like Almon, who is black incidentally, came to be in touch with the president’s lawyer.

The answer is the most Trumpy thing ever.

“Mr. Almon said he sent the email to follow up on a phone call he had last week with Mr. Dowd,” according to the Times.

“He said he had called to offer damaging information about James B. Comey, the former F.B.I. director, and to provide other information about the Justice Department’s ongoing investigation into the Trump campaign.”

A veritable legal dream team Trump's got going here.
It looks like 45's lawyer knows as much about history as he does.
Robert E.Lee did NOT save America, and he was NOT a great American, he was a traitor.

If you want to study 45's version of what General Pershing did to terrorists, then you need to check your spam folder for an email from your crazy uncle.

Donald Trump retells Pants on Fire claim about Gen. Pershing ending terrorism for 35 years.

Even FOX News says he's full of ****.

Trump cites tale of Gen. Pershing's pigs' blood bullets that historians dismiss.

45 repeated that story many times during the campaign.
In 2016 Corey Lewandowski said that 45 was aware that the story wasn't true.
Donald Trump has told a false war story of an American general using bullets dipped in pig's blood while executing Muslims a century ago several times on the campaign trail — and knew it was false the whole time.

Corey Lewandowski, Trump's former campaign manager who was let go on Monday, told The Washington Post Trump was aware the story wasn't true.

"It's not about that," Lewandowski told the Post during an interview before he was fired.

"Look, it's an analogy."

http://www.newsmax.com/Politics/corey-l ... id/734935/
So 45 knows that the story is not true, but he Tweeted about it today, and Corey Lewandowski obviously has no idea what an 'analogy' is.
