This thread is kind of like a blog, where I post the stuff that's of interest to me and vent about it. It's best to read this thread backwards, as the most recent stuff will be on the last page. ************************************************************************************************ The insanity from the right is coming too fast and too furious to start a thread every time one of these Republicans says or does something crazy. So I decided to put it all in this one thread. Do you also spank monkeys? Bill Clinton is available.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is pushing forward with Republican outreach efforts to black and Hispanic voters, asserting in a Yahoo News interview that he doesn't "think there's anyone in Congress who has a stronger belief in minority rights than I do."His comments were delivered in the wake of controversy surrounding the senator's aide Jack Hunter, who resigned within the past week. Hunter, the co-author of Paul's book The Tea Party Goes to Washington, came under fire for his past radio commentary supporting neo-Confederate ideology and denouncing the possibility of "a non-white majority in America."Paul has addressed that controversy head-on, defending Hunter as a talented and thought-provoking writer whose previous work was designed for political shock value."If I thought he was a white supremacist, he would be fired immediately," Paul told The Huffington Post earlier this month. "We won't tolerate that, and I've seen no evidence of that."http://www.huffingto..._n_3653671.htmlApparently Rand Paul wasn't looking very hard.Hunter, an avowed secessionist, once wrote that he "raises a personal toast every May 10 to celebrate John Wilkes Booth's birthday."Hunter said that "John Wilkes Booth's heart was in the right place."Oh, and then there's the mask.Jack Hunter aka The Southern Avenger.

Can we all play?Did Paul attend a church with a virulently racist, anti-semitic, anti-American, Marxist-Communist pastor and make him his spiritual adviser?I have no problem with Obama's church or his pastor.

The Race Card! Can we all play? Did Paul attend a church with a virulently racist, anti-semitic, anti-American, Marxist-Communist pastor and make him his spiritual adviser? No, he just had someone working on his staff who wears a Confederate flag mask and sees John Wilkes Booth as a hero. Do you also believe that Booth's heart was 'in the right place' when he shot Lincoln?

In contrast to Obama, whose spiritual mentor preached his hate for decades right in front of or directly to Obama, the sitting president of the US, most powerful man in the world. But troll that you are, you ignore that. MistyBlue, on Oct 17 2008, 02:42 PM, said: I have no problem with Obama's church or his pastor.

I doubt Rand Paul had the slightest idea what the guy's opinions are.Why do you 'doubt' it?The guy is a radio host and political commentator whose views are well known, and Rand Paul picked him to help write his book. You think he would do that if he didn't know anything about him?A simple Google search is all one needs to find out about this guy's history of racist remarks. Are you saying Paul didn't do that before he chose him to help write his book and hired him?Sounds pretty stupid to me.Gee, it looks like Jack Hunter AKA The Southern Avenger has taken down his website.I wonder why?http://www.southerna...recent-attacks/Maybe because he has crap like this on it.

Because if Paul did, that would be the end of his career. Duuuh. Plenty of people publicly express limited views while hiding their more radical opinions, just like Obama does. No, it's all but impossible that Rand Paul ever would have knowingly hired someone with those views. MistyBlue, on Oct 17 2008, 02:42 PM, said: I have no problem with Obama's church or his pastor. So you have no problem with a virulently racist, anti-semitic, anti-American, Marxist-Communist having been the spiritual adviser to the sitting president. Who said that Obama accepted what he preached. With Obama having attended that church for twenty years. And you have no problem with that virulently racist, anti-semitic, anti-American, Marxist-Communist philosophy. Just as I have many times noted; you're a leftist wackjob.

Just as I have many times noted; you're a leftist wackjob. And you're a shameless apologist for any and all Republicans. From a man who enjoys bestiality videos to a man who beds both a mother and her daughter. If Rand Paul did not know about Jack Hunter AKA The Southern Avenger's views before he hired him to help write his book and be a member of his staff, then he is not fit to be a senator, no less a president, since he's obviously too stupid to even use the Google....it's all but impossible that Rand Paul ever would have knowingly hired someone with those views. But of course, you are lying when you say that Rand Paul didn't know about Hunter's views, because he did indeed know.He defended him at first until it became too much of a distraction. If you would bother to look it up, you'd know that.I guess you're too stupid to use the Google as well.
