So I guess both Governor Abbott and Governor Scott bought into that hype.

How far will you really go to defend this assclown?

**** you, psycho. Every time you see some claim you don't like, you babble "weasel word, weasel word."

As he has said many times, new listeners have to listen for six weeks or so to get adjusted to his hype and his humor.
Granted that, he paints a far, far more accurate picture of reality than the corrupt liberal MSM.
Even if I believed that, and I don't, maybe when a Cat 5 hurricane is bearing down on us, it's not the right time to be hyperbolic.
Maybe it's the time to do the responsible thing, put politics aside and tell your listeners that they should prepare for the worst, but hope for the best.
That's what the Republican Governors of both Florida and Texas did.

I didn't hear either one of them say that it was just the media's attempt to advance their climate change agenda and the retailer's way of selling bottled water, batteries, etc.

Did you?
He knows people are smart enough to judge his words while looking out for their own safety, Dim.

Here's a hint, Dim.

Both of them have their job to do, and so does Rush.

And 99.9% of Americans are smart enough to listen to both and make the correct decision for themselves.

No, he knows his listeners are as dumb as a box of rocks and will take whatever he says as gospel.

How many have you told already today?

**** you, psycho.
No, he knows his listeners are as dumb as a box of rocks and will take whatever he says as gospel.
Which is yet another obvious lie, as even the WashPost reported years ago to its great surprise.

That lie was refuted decades ago, psycho.

The WashPost and others reported to their great surprise the opposite:

Rush's listeners are affluent, educated and highly informed; well above average.

No wonder you're done on this topic, imbecile.

Psychopath. :loco:

There's rain on states.

Seems you gays were hagging at Misty, and you went off on me for posting a link, but you didn't, while failing to by-line, ASSHOLES.

So bitches? Post the link, or all good about where you are, since you can comment from front row.

As bitches, getting rained on.
I have posted many times I live in Sarasota Florida. Irma just passed through creating 160,000 power outages. With my home hurricane proofed all we have to do is pick up the debris the hurricane created with tree branches all over our yard. As usual with this much rain the back portion of our yard has a couple of inches of water. In my wheelchair I can't get to our undamaged shed to get the rake to take care of the small debris. Power outages are down to 126,000 this morning. Will be glad when we get our power back but it might take days. This is the worst part of being in a hurricane when you choose the location for your house carefully and hurricane proof it.

Where oh where is Jose ****. Your idiocy of predicting where it would go has been proved idiotic. Learn never ever to predict where a hurricane will go. Irma proved this ****!!!!

45 trying to figure out how he can take credit for this.
Middle-class income hit highest level on record in 2016, Census Bureau reports.

America's middle class had its highest-earning year ever in 2016, the U.S. Census Bureau reported Tuesday.

Median household income in America was $59,039 last year, surpassing the previous record of $58,655 set in 1999, the Census Bureau said.

The figure is adjusted for inflation and is one of the most closely watched indicators of how the middle class is faring financially, as the Census surveys nearly 100,000 homes.

The Census said the uptick in earnings occurred because so many people found full-time jobs — or better-paying jobs — last year.

I live in Sarasota Florida. The hurricane passed right over us. After we bought our house in a good location to be in a hurricane we hurricane proofed it. Straps holding down the roof and cat5 windows on a cement block house. Had to pick up branches the hurricane knocked off. A neighbor had a small tree knocked down. Our big oaks only lost dead branches and a few good ones. Since I get around in an electric wheelchair I could only take care of the large items and am unable to get to the rakes for the small stuff. We have stranding water in the back yard around the shed. The biggest problem is power outages. We have no power like 160,000 other locations. Today it is down to 126,000 so it will take several days for all the power outages to be fixed.

When you prepare properly you have no worries. Might think about getting a generator for next time.

AND?
While I'm happy for you that you suffered minimal damage, what does that have to do with all the people who have suffered much more damage?
