Republican senator challenges Trump's renewed attack on the press.

A Republican senator is challenging President Trump after he said it was “disgusting” that the press can “write whatever it wants.”

Sen. Ben Sasse of Nebraska issued a statement Wednesday night that read, “Mr. President: Words spoken by the President of the United States matter.”

He continued, “Are you tonight recanting of the oath you took on January 20th to preserve, protect, and defend the First Amendment?”

From what I've read, Trump didn't sexually bully or try to take advantage of job seekers the way Weinstein did for decades. Not to mention, Weinstein has been accused of rape. We'll have to see how that turns out.

Weinstein went beyond just sexually harassing women. He abused his power to exploit young women who were seeking to start their careers.


Had Trump done that, I'd have been far more critical.

You have no problem accusing a Liberal/Democrat of being a sexual predator, but when a dozen women came forward to say that 45 had sexually assaulted them you called them liars by saying that 45 was just trying to 'read' them to see if they were open to being seduced.

Weinstein abused power. Trump did not, from what I saw.

I only accused the women who lied of lying, psycho. If some are proven to have lied about Weinstein, I'll note that, too. Perhaps the rape accusations are false; perhaps not.

We know nothing more than bad comments from O'Reilly and Trump...and I did criticize them. And some of the women that the NYT claim were harassed by Trump went on national TV and defend Trump...they said the NYT lied about them.


But we now have real knowledge of real sexual harassment and assaults by Clinton and Weinstein...and other actors. Now it includes the owner of Amazon/WaPo who is also in bed with the dems.
