Study in contrast: How Bush handled Cindy Sheehan-VIDEO

In considering Donald Trump's handling of Gold Star widow Myeshia Johnson, the panel discusses how fmr. President George W. Bush handled anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan.

Cindy Sheehan, the mother of Army Specialist Casey Sheehan who was killed during the Iraq War in March 2004, staged a public, years long campaign against President Bush beginning in 2005.

She camped outside the president’s Prairie Chapel Ranch for over a month in August 2005, demanding a meeting with Bush to discuss the war.

“Camp Casey” became a media zeitgeist, visited by hundreds of supporters, Democrat U.S. Reps. Maxine Waters and Shelia Jackson Lee, as well as Joan Baez, Martin Sheen and Rev. Al Sharpton.

Bush fielded a question about Sheehan during a press conference on August 11, 2oo5, five days after Sheehan began her demonstration.

“I sympathize with Mrs. Sheehan,” Bush said. “She feels strongly about her position, and she has every right in the world to say what she believes.

This is America. She has the right to her position.

Fox News Fires John Huddy, Brother of O’Reilly Accuser Juliet Huddy

Fox News has parted ways with Jerusalem-based correspondent John Huddy.

The timing of this news coming out is sure to raise eyebrows as it has nearly immediately followed a shocking interview that his sister Juliet Huddy had with Megyn Kelly today.

Ms. Huddy appeared on the Today show to discuss her settled sexual harassment allegations against former Fox News anchor, Bill O’Reilly, a story that has led to numerous accusations leveled by O’Reilly, Kelly’s husband and Fox News. Not a pretty story by any stretch.

When asked about Huddy’s departure, a Fox News spokesperson told Mediaite that “Following a thorough investigation into a physical altercation earlier this month, FOX News made the decision to sever ties with Jerusalem-based correspondent John Huddy.

The network’s investigation concluded last week, and due to observation of the Sabbath on Friday, terminated Huddy’s employment this morning.”

Mediaite is looking into any reports of Huddy’s alleged physical altercation and will update accordingly if more reports are forthcoming.

Trump's Obamacare ad cuts will slash health enrollment by at least 1.1 million, analysis says.

Obamacare enrollment will drop by at least 1.1 million because of outreach cutbacks by the Trump administration, a new analysis estimates.

The administration cut the outreach and education budgets by $90 million, or 90 percent, in August.

Other factors, including a shorter sign-up season and negative messaging by the administration, could depress enrollment further.

The Trump administration's move to slash Obamacare outreach and education budgets will lead to at least 1.1 million fewer people signing up for health insurance this enrollment season, a new analysis estimates.

And those 1.1 million lost customers will tend to be younger and healthier than the people who do sign up, putting even more financial pressure on health insurers, the analysis found.

As a result, insurance premium "prices are going to go up," said the analysis' author, Joshua Peck, former chief marketing officer for HealthCare.gov, the federally run Obamacare marketplace.
