NBC reporting that the two campaign officials mentioned in the George Papadopolous email are Paul Manafort and Sam Clovis.

Clovis is due for a confirmation hearing as USDA top scientist next week.

Proof? Link?

McCain was the one who passed the dossier to Comey, who then briefed Trump and Obama on it, and then Buzzfeed published it.

All fluff and diversion. The fact of the matter is the DNC and the Clinton campaign paid millions of dollars for a debunked dossier based on information from a foreign government.

But, as you guys say, it is nothing but oppo reasearch.

See your penchant for investigations is not quite do strong when the candidate YOU voted for is involved. At least we on the right can point to post after post supporting the Russia Russia Trump investigations. If only to shut you the **** up.

Facebook says Russia-linked posts may have reached 126 million users.

Facebook Inc. says a Russian group posted more than 80,000 times on its service during and after the 2016 U.S. presidential election, potentially reaching as many as 126 million users.

The company plans to disclose these numbers to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, according to a person familiar with the testimony.

The person declined to be named because the committee has not officially released the testimony.

Facebook, Twitter Inc. and Google, a division of Alphabet Inc., are scheduled to testify at three hearings Tuesday and Wednesday.

Twitter plans to tell the same committee that it has uncovered and shut down 2,752 accounts linked to the same group, Russia's Internet Research Agency, which is known for promoting pro-Russian government positions.

That number is nearly 14 times as large as the number of accounts Twitter handed over to congressional committees three weeks ago, according to a person familiar with the matter who was not authorized to speak publicly about the new findings before Tuesday's hearing.

Just saw a pundit on TV say that if just 1% of those people were influenced by those ads, that would be 15 times more than the margin of defeat in the race.

I didn't do the math, but 45 won the electoral college by about 70,000 votes in 3 states.
You can't tell me those ads had no influence over the election.

Nope.

So you agree that at this point the only proof of collusion w/Russia is from the campaign of the candidate YOU voted for, correct?

And you do support an investigation into it, correct?

You mean like you have been so supportive of the investigations into the Trump campaign?

So you think Hillary colluded with Russia to help her lose the election?

What I know is that many Trump campaign officials had contacts with Russians and lied about it.
One of them just plead guilty to that charge.

What I also know is that they showed a willingness to work with Russians to get dirt on Hillary.

You can deflect all you want, and Republicans can investigate whatever they want, it won't stop Mueller.
Pretty sure he's just getting started.

I have said all along that I believe that it probably has much more to do with money than collusion, and it looks like Mueller is going down that road.

Timeline: Campaign knew Russia had Clinton emails months before Trump 'joke'

Months before candidate Donald Trump asked Russia to "find" Hillary Clinton's missing private server emails - a statement the campaign later called a joke - a Russian operative told a campaign aide "the Russians had emails of Clinton," according to a plea agreement released Monday.

In the first guilty plea of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, George Papadopoulos admitted lying to the FBI about contact with Russian agents that offered the campaign "thousands" of damaging emails about Clinton.

Papadopoulos claims he would eventually be told by a campaign supervisor to travel to Russia to meet with government officials "if feasible," a trip that never happened.

In the context of the timeline of events, Papadopoulos was told of Russian hacking before the rest of the country, and weeks before the Trump campaign made its first denial of Russian involvement in the election.

March 24: A professor introduced Papadopoulos to an alleged niece of Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to the court documents, Papadopoulos told his campaign supervisor the subject of the meeting was "to arrange a meeting between us and the Russian leadership to discuss U.S.-Russia ties under President Trump." "Great work," replied the supervisor, who said he would work the offer through the campaign. The supervisor is not named.

Papadopoulos would later find out the so-called niece was not, in fact, related to Putin.

April: Papadopoulos maintained contact with both the woman and professor to set up a meeting throughout April, keeping the campaign apprised of his contact.

April 29: The professor told Papadopoulos the Russians had "thousands" of Clinton's emails containing dirt. The next day, Papadopoulos thanked the professor for his help setting up a possible meeting between Russians and Trump.

"It's history making if it happens," said the campaign aide.

June 14: The Washington Post revealed that the DNC had been breached by those thought to be Russian hackers.

So you think that Hillary would pay over $10 million for information, the most salacious details false, that so it wouldn't be leaked to the press?

Don't be freaking ridiculous, Dim. It was worthless if it was kept private.

From my understanding, all the fake Russian intell was begun and paid for by Hillary. It was her funds and intent that brought the Russians and their fake "intelligence." She colluded with the Russians.

Also, it was Hillary and the Obama administration that abused government agencies by involving the FBI and likely intelligence agencies, interfering in a presidential election.

That is a massive abuse of power, not that you care.

I have little confidence in McCain. That just makes him a hack, too.

The other George Papadopolous and the Watergate connection.

Georgios Papadopoulos was the head of the military coup d'état that took place in Greece on 21 April 1967, and leader of the junta that ruled the country from 1967 to 1974.

Elias P. Demetracopoulos was a dissident and Greek journalist who exiled himself to Washington, where he stoked opposition to Papadopolous's military junta and to U.S. officials, including members of the Nixon administration, who supported that regime.

Demetracopoulos learned that during the 1968 election $549,000 in cash was funneled to the Nixon campaign from the KYP, the Greek intelligence agency, through a Greek American businessman (Thomas Pappas) and he said that he shared that information with Lawrence F. O’Brien, then chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

Demetracopoulos linked the alleged campaign donation to the burglary of the Democratic national headquarters at the Watergate complex in 1972, alleging that it was the administration’s desire to protect itself from revelations about the Greek connection that might well have motivated the break-in.

In case you forgot the dossier was made public when it was published on Buzzfeed AFTER the election in January 2017, so what would be the point of either her or her campaign leaking it then?
It wouldn't change the outcome of an election that was over.

LMAO!!!!!

Again, many of us supported these investigations. And again Misty deflects any questions about the campaign of the person she voted for.

Also, for the record, in the context of political campaigns collusion is not a crime. It is of course in the business world, or the criminal world when colluding about committing a crime.

The Deep State is in revolt against Trump, yet the psychopath calls Fox "state tv."

Reversing reality yet again. :\

It is not at all unreasonable to have serious doubts about Mueller. Even more about the Democrat team he assembled.

Not for lack of trying, psycho. They obviously wanted it to be picked up by the media.

It's like someone tried repeatedly but unsuccessfuly to rob a bank, and you bleat, well gosh, they didn't manage to do it, did they?

Psychopath. :loco:

Never mind that it's highly likely that Obama officials used a false document as an excuse to engage in illegal political surveillance of Trump and officials.

That's what the huge unmasking scandal is about; a massive, unConstitutional abuse of power.

"Anyone insured under Obamacare should be careful not to stand among or near sharp objects this week when he looks at the annual round of Obamacare enrollment. He’ll faint at the sight of what Obamacare will cost over the next year. The average exchange prices for the more popular Obamacare plans will rise 34 percent."

Don't tell Misty...she's busy deciding where to hang her Hillary poster.
