Trump's a fake conservative who's conning real conservatives, lies little Miss Marxist.

You're stupid to support him, she claims.

And she never lies!
Once a populist, Trump governs like an unwavering conservative

The pattern has become so pronounced that even some of President Trump’s Republican critics acknowledge that he is pushing an agenda friendly to their interests and has not aggressively pursued anti-trade moves and other actions that would alarm them.

I think I posted this before but it's worth reposting in light of Tom Arnold's allegations.
Former Trump campaign adviser Roger Stone appeared to know there were sexual misconduct allegations involving Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) hours before they became public.

Stone has been banned from Twitter, but at 1 a.m. on Thursday morning an account connected to him tweeted a quote from the Republican political operative.

"Roger Stone says it's Al Franken's 'time in the barrel'.

Franken next in long list of Democrats to be accused of 'grabby' behavior," read the tweet from Enter the Stone Zone.

That bogus Roger Stone account and one other have now been suspended.

Deplorables threatening violence.
Morning Joe and Mika threatened with ‘violence’ by Trump’s ‘personality cult’ as Mueller draws closer.

Leading off Friday morning’s Morning Joe show, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough revealed that he and co-host Mika Brzezinski have had to contact law enforcement after being threatened with violence over their opposition to President Donald Trump.

With Brzezinski sitting at his side, the MSNBC host decried Twitter as a “war zone,” with both hosts saying it has become increasingly nasty as special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation closes in on Trump as the two hosts alluded to recent attacks on them by Infowars founder Alex Jones.

“I know you’re talking about Al Franken and Bob Mueller, and the war to smear this man who has served his country nobly and ably for years and guided us after 9/11,” Scarborough remarked before revealing the threats against the two of them.

“There’s actually concerted attack by the smallest and most petulant in the Republican Party on the Hill by right-wing talk show people and, you know, you and I — I’m not even going to get into it.

I don’t want to give anybody any oxygen who attacks us.”

“All I will say is that we had to — we actually had to contact authorities based on things that were said about us, where people were actually, let’s just say, suggesting that violence be done,” he elaborated.

“All this tells you, Mika, is that there are a lot of people — not on right because they are not conservative — but people that support Donald Trump and his personality cult that understand that the law is actually closing in on him.

Not Bob Mueller — the law is closing in on him.”

US Engulfed in the Most Corrupt Event in History and All Roads Lead Back to Former President Obama
December 8, 2017 by Jim Hoft
While the mainstream media (MSM) focuses on the fake news Trump-Russia collusion farce, the US is engulfed in the most corrupt event in its history and all roads lead back to former President Obama.

As a matter of fact, the fake Trump investigation is a major piece in the attempted coup d’état currently in place and the MSM’s fake news reporting is part of the Coup.

Just this past week former UN Ambassador John Bolten stated that this is
the “First Attempted Coup D’état in US History” –

https://youtu.be/tuVeQQP7qO0Bolton is right. This is the biggest challenge to the survival of the country since the Civil War....

The Obama Administration and the deep state, those individuals in government that have created crimes and continue to commit crimes to support their cause, don’t want President Trump to change the destructive direction in the US..... President Trump and the Americans that voted for him want to save America and the world by standing for freedom, life, human rights and the pursuit of happiness for all Americans.

The US is at a crossing point....

Then during the 2016 election the Obama Administration took a fake dossier to the FISA court and used it as a means to spy on their political opponent during the election. We now know that the dossier was as fake as a National Enquirer article created by a company known to create nasty, made up accusations against individuals for a significant payout. This dossier was then taken by the FBI to the FISA Court to obtain approval to spy on candidate and now President Trump....

We know that every request to the FISA Court during Obama’s last four years to spy on Americans was signed by former Attorney General Lynch.

We also know that Obama’s dishonest spy Chief James Clapper said he knew of every FISA request that was requested and also that no FISA warrants could have been issued without President Obama knowing. We also know that only 1 in 10,000 FISA requests were turned down by the court and this was the first request made by the Obama Administration to spy on Trump.
Obama then apparently used the fake dossier to obtain the warrant on Trump.

We also know that the entire FISA court was Obama appointees in May of 2016, about the time the court the approved Obama’s request to spy on Trump.

We also know that in March President Trump found out and tweeted –Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my “wires tapped” in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!

Oh my, what's this? More Fake News from the corrupt liberal MSM.

The same corrupt network that covered up Clinton's crimes and impeachable acts is spreading **** about Trump.
ANOTHER EXPLODING CIGAR BLOWS UP IN CNN’S FACE

CNN, in its daily effort to discredit President Trump, hastily published a leak from Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee that turned out to be false. CNN initially claimed that someone emailed Donald Trump, Jr. a link to a Wikileaks DNC dump on September 4, 2016. CNN said this information was based on “accounts from two sources who had seen the email.” Those sources obviously were Democrat committee members or staffers; Donald Jr. testified about the email before the Intelligence Committee on Wednesday.

CNN attributed significance to the email because it allegedly was dated September 4, nine days before the Wikileaks documents in question were made public. But–oops–the Democrats misinformed CNN. The email is actually dated September 14, the day after the documents were released. So a Trump supporter was simply trying to call the Trump campaign’s attention to publicly-available documents.

CNN has shamefacedly corrected its story, which it also trumpeted on television:

Correction: This story has been corrected to say the date of the email was September 14, 2016, not September 4, 2016. The story also changed the headline and removed a tweet from Donald Trump Jr., who posted a message about WikiLeaks on September 4, 2016.

***
CNN originally reported the email was released September 4 — 10 days earlier — based on accounts from two sources who had seen the email. The new details appear to show that the sender was relying on publicly available information. The new information indicates that the communication is less significant than CNN initially reported.

Actually, the “new details”–i.e., the correct email date–mean that the communication has no significance whatsoever.

The G.O.P. Is Rotting

David Brooks
December 7, 2017

A lot of good, honorable Republicans used to believe there was a safe middle ground.

You didn’t have to tie yourself hip to hip with Donald Trump, but you didn’t have to go all the way to the other extreme and commit political suicide like the dissident Jeff Flake, either.

You could sort of float along in the middle, and keep your head down until this whole Trump thing passed.

Now it’s clear that middle ground doesn’t exist.

That’s because Donald Trump never stops asking.

First, he asked the party to swallow the idea of a narcissistic sexual harasser and a routine liar as its party leader.

Then he asked the party to accept his comprehensive ignorance and his politics of racial division.

Now he asks the party to give up its reputation for fiscal conservatism.

At the same time he asks the party to become the party of Roy Moore, the party of bigotry, alleged sexual harassment and child assault.

There is no end to what Trump will ask of his party.

He is defined by shamelessness, and so there is no bottom.

And apparently there is no end to what regular Republicans are willing to give him.

Trump may soon ask them to accept his firing of Robert Mueller, and yes, after some sighing, they will accept that, too.

That’s the way these corrupt bargains always work.

You think you’re only giving your tormentor a little piece of yourself, but he keeps asking and asking, and before long he owns your entire soul.

The Republican Party is doing harm to every cause it purports to serve.

If Republicans accept Roy Moore as a United States senator, they may, for a couple of years, have one more vote for a justice or a tax cut, but they will have made their party loathsome for an entire generation.

The pro-life cause will be forever associated with moral hypocrisy on an epic scale.

The word “evangelical” is already being discredited for an entire generation.

Young people and people of color look at the Trump-Moore G.O.P. and they are repulsed, maybe forever.

You don’t help your cause by wrapping your arms around an alleged sexual predator and a patriarchic bigot.

You don’t help your cause by putting the pursuit of power above character, by worshiping at the feet of some loutish man or another, by claiming the ends justify any means.

You don’t successfully rationalize your own tawdriness by claiming your opponents are satanic.

You don’t save Christianity by betraying its message.

“What shall it profit a man,” Jesus asked, “if he gain the whole world and suffer the loss of his own soul?”

The current Republican Party seems to not understand that question.

Donald Trump seems to have made gaining the world at the cost of his soul his entire life’s motto.

It’s amazing that there haven’t been more Republicans like Mitt Romney who have said: “Enough is enough! I can go no further!”

The reason, I guess, is that the rot that has brought us to the brink of Senator Roy Moore began long ago.

Starting with Sarah Palin and the spread of Fox News, the G.O.P. traded an ethos of excellence for an ethos of hucksterism.

The Republican Party I grew up with admired excellence.

It admired intellectual excellence (Milton Friedman, William F. Buckley), moral excellence (John Paul II, Natan Sharansky) and excellent leaders (James Baker, Jeane Kirkpatrick).

Populism abandoned all that — and had to by its very nature.

Excellence is hierarchical.

Excellence requires work, time, experience and talent.

Populism doesn’t believe in hierarchy.

Populism doesn’t demand the effort required to understand the best that has been thought and said.

Populism celebrates the quick slogan, the impulsive slash, the easy ignorant assertion.

Populism is blind to mastery and embraces mediocrity.

Compare the tax cuts of the supply-side era with the tax cuts of today.

There were three big cuts in the earlier era: the 1978 capital gains tax cut, the Kemp-Roth tax cut of 1981, and the 1986 tax reform.

They were passed with bipartisan support, after a lengthy legislative process.

All of them responded to the dominant problem of the moment, which was the stagflation and economic sclerosis.

All rested on a body of serious intellectual work.

Liberals now associate supply-side economics with the Laffer Curve, but that was peripheral.

Supply-side was based on Say’s Law, that supply creates its own demand.

It was based on the idea that if you rearrange incentives for small entrepreneurs you are more likely to get start-ups and more innovation.

Those cuts were embraced by Nobel Prize winners and represented an entire social vision, favoring the dispersed entrepreneurs over the concentrated corporate fat cats.

Today’s tax cuts have no bipartisan support.

They have no intellectual grounding, no body of supporting evidence.

They do not respond to the central crisis of our time.

They have no vision of the common good, except that Republican donors should get more money and Democratic donors should have less.

The rot afflicting the G.O.P. is comprehensive — moral, intellectual, political and reputational.

More and more former Republicans wake up every day and realize:“I’m homeless. I’m politically homeless.”

Female aides fretted Rep. Trent Franks (R) wanted to have sex to impregnate them.

Image

Arizona Rep. Trent Franks allegedly made unwanted advances toward female staffers in his office and retaliated against one who rebuffed him, according to House GOP sources with knowledge of a complaint against him.

The allegations, which reached Speaker Paul Ryan and top GOP leaders in recent days, led to Franks' sudden resignation this week.

Franks originally announced that he would resign on Jan. 31, 2018.

But just hours after POLITICO inquired about the allegations, he sped up his resignation and left office Friday.

The sources said Franks approached two female staffers about acting as a potential surrogate for him and his wife, who has struggled with fertility issues for years.

But the aides were concerned that Franks was asking to have sexual relations with them.

It was not clear to the women whether he was asking about impregnating the women through sexual intercourse or in vitro fertilization.

Franks opposes abortion rights as well as procedures that discard embryos.

A former staffer also alleged that Franks tried to persuade a female aide that they were in love by having her read an article that described how a person knows they’re in love with someone, the sources said.

it is the deeply corrupt Democrat Party that's rotting, from the head down, thanks to the Clinton's and Obama and their many, many abuses of power and sociopathic dishonesty.

The rot goes right through the heart of the party.

Did Brooks ever write about that? I'll bet almost nothing.
