I have no problem with the amount of money spent by the dems. That was not the problem. The problem was the establishment republican would not spend enough. Hell, they spent tremendously more on Christie who did not need it. What a waste. These guys are supposed to be setting financial policy in DC and they come up with a plan like this? They are as bad as the dems, Spend money where it is not needed.

This story restores my faith in humanity. Given your own psychopathic behavior, I'm surprised you have any faith in humanity at all. November 9, 2013 4:00 AMObama’s Massive Fraud If he were a CEO in the private sector, he’d be prosecuted for such deception. By Andrew C. McCarthy ‘If you like your health-care plan, you will be able to keep your health-care plan. Period.” How serious was this lie, repeated by Barack Obama with such beguiling regularity? Well, how would the Justice Department be dealing with it if it had been uttered by, say, the president of an insurance company rather than the president of the United States?Fraud is a serious federal felony, usually punishable by up to 20 years’ imprisonment — with every repetition of a fraudulent communication chargeable as a separate crime. In computing sentences, federal sentencing guidelines factor in such considerations as the dollar value of the fraud, the number of victims, and the degree to which the offender’s treachery breaches any special fiduciary duties he owes. Cases of multi-million-dollar corporate frauds — to say nothing of multi-billion-dollar, Bernie Madoff–level scams that nevertheless pale beside Obamacare’s dimensions — often result in terms amounting to decades in the slammer.... President Obama knew three years ago, based on internal analyses, that because of his administration’s own regulation-writing, millions of Americans would lose the health plans he nonetheless continued to promise they could keep....Barack Obama is guilty of fraud — serial fraud — that is orders of magnitude more serious than frauds the Justice Department routinely prosecutes, and that courts punish harshly. The victims will be out billions of dollars, quite apart from other anxiety and disruption that will befall them. http://www.nationalr...drew-c-mccarthy

Sarah Palin And Matt Lauer Had An Insane ConversationTo watch Matt Lauer and Sarah Palin try to discuss health care on Monday's "Today" was to watch two entirely separate conversations awkwardly meet in the middle. When Lauer told Palin that the Tea Party was really into repealing Obamacare, she was very into that. "Right on!" she cried. When he asked about what the Tea Party alternative to Obamacare was, Palin looked him straight in the eye and answered an entirely different question. "And it's not just the independent grassroots Tea Party movement saying this!" she said."But where's the plan from the Tea Party?" Lauer beseeched, his increasingly scraggly beard lending him the air of a reproachful professor."Especially Democrats running for re-election," Palin continued (she had been talking the whole time). She finally ran out of steam and answered the actual question. Oh how she answered it!Palin: "The plan is to allow those things that had been proposed over many years to reform a health care system in America that certainly does need more help so that there's more competition, there's less tort reform threat, there's less trajectory of the cost increases? And those plans have been proposed over and over again. And what thwarts those plans? It's the far left. It's President Obama and his supporters who will not allow the Republicans to usher in free market, patient-centered, doctor-patient relationship links to reform health care!"So if those things were proposed over 'many years' as Palin said, what stopped the Republicans from instituting those policies when they had control of both houses of congress and the WH?Obama and his supporters were not around then.

So if those things were proposed over 'many years' as Palin said, what stopped the Republicans from instituting those policies when they had control of both houses of congress and the WH? Obama and his supporters were not around then. Go back and read the history. The Republicans had a plan but the dems rejected it. Here is a start. The beginning of an article from forbes: In January of 2007, George W. Bush was entering the final stretch of his two-term presidency. Bush, however, chose not to ride off simply into the sunset. Instead, he put forth a comprehensive plan to reform the private health insurance market. It’s long-forgotten now, because Democrats had just regained control of Congress, and these newly-empowered legislators pronounced the Bush plan “dead on arrival.” In many ways, though, the Bush proposal was impressive and credible. It would have expanded coverage while reducing the deficit. Should it serve as the starting point for replacing Obamacare? http://www.forbes.co...aced-obamacare/

Geez, little Miss Marxist seems to have gone into mourning over the collapse of Obamacare. Can't even get a good lie out of her. Like her, Obama is a shameless leftist liar. President Obama said of the millions whose health insurance was canceled, "I am sorry that they—you know, are finding themselves in this situation, based on assurances they got from me."It was not a real apology. And what truly mattered was what Mr. Obama said at the interview's start. "First of all, I meant what I said," he told Mr. Todd, about his promises that people could keep their health plan if they liked it. "And we worked hard to try to make sure that we implemented it properly. But obviously, we didn't do enough—a good enough job—and I regret that."This is nonsense. The mounting cancellations of people's health plans is not a result of faulty implementation. The Affordable Care Act was designed to make unavailable health-insurance policies that didn't include its extensive, expensive and often unnecessary provisions. Policies that don't meet these and other standards are not in compliance with the law. This will affect more than the individual market. ObamaCare will cause cancellations of group policies, too, especially those covering older, less healthy workforces. http://online.wsj.co...195851362185712

No, Kitten.I have not gone into mourning.Unlike you, I actually have a life outside this forum, so I can't spend 24 hours a day reading avoiding your crap.Go ahead do your little happy dance. If Obamacare collapses, what is your party going to do?Throw all the poor people who just qualified for medicaid off the rolls?Tell the people with pre-existing conditions, too bad, so sad, no insurance for you?Tell people they can no longer keep their kids on their insurance up to age 26?Bring back lifetime caps?Maybe they'll take Sarah Palin's advice and call for 'less tort reform threats'? LMAOGot that Pumpkin? She doesn't want anyone to 'threaten' tort reform. What a freakin' genius. She obviously has no idea what tort reform means, but she heard it somewhere, and it sounded good, so.....Do you not understand that treating people who don't have insurance in emergency rooms is the least cost efficient way to do things? And people like me who have insurance, we pay for it in higher premiums.I would think a fiscal conservative would get that.Only a cold hearted bastard such as yourself would delight in going back to the status quo.Millions of people uninsured, many of whom will die because of it.But if we can embarass Obama, it's all worth it, right Puss? What a contemptable POS you are.Why don't you tell us what kind of health insurance you have Puss?Do you have the courage to do that?I'll bet anything that you are on some kind of government program. You're obviously too crazy to hold a job.I'd say SSDI and Medicare.Am I right?

Hey, great job at avoiding the massive damage that Obamacare has done and will do if left in place. Typical troll behavior. Do you not understand that treating people who don't have insurance in emergency rooms is the least cost efficient way to do things? I would think a fiscal conservative would get that. Which is why I'd eliminate the federal law that requires treatment. Leave it to the states how to reform that. Only a cold hearted bastard such as yourself would delight in going back to the status quo. Millions of people uninsured, many of whom will die because of it. But if we can embarass Obama, it's all worth it, right Puss? F*** you, you lying troll. It has nothing to do with embarrassing Obama. It has to do with the collapse and future repeal of a horrific health care bill that would not only do deep damage to the best health care on Earth, but make Americans serfs to Beltway politicians. What a contemptable POS you are. F*** off and die, you piece of crap.

I haven't read "the Shock Doctrine" but I'm highly familiar with the examples she uses. The fact of the matter is, Chile's GDP per capita growth during the Pinochet era (1973 to ~1988) was actually the second worst in all of Latin America. Its capital city was so polluted that the World Health Organization declared an "emergency." It was almost the equivalent of a city enduring the fallout of ashes from a volcanic eruption, except the pollution was obviously caused by unregulated capitalism. Free Market economics made Chile into the envy of all Latin America. It raised incomes in desperately poor Hong Kong almost to that of the US.Hong Kong's model makes a better case for mixed economies. Yes, the cause of Freedom, something liberals almost always despise.Something tells me you couldn't define "freedom" if your life depended upon it.

About that Wisconsin Supreme Court election.....Republican Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus rocked Wisconsins Supreme Court election by claiming that she had suddenly found 14,315 lost votes in the most conservative county in the state. If these newly discovered votes are legitimate, they give incumbent conservative Justice David Prosser a more than 7,500 vote lead a number that almost exactly matches the margin he needs to avoid a recount at the states expense. Here are a few facts about Kathy Nickolaus:Prosser is Nickolaus Former Boss: Throughout the 1990s, Nickolaus worked for the Wisconsin State Assemblys Republican Caucus. For much of that time, Justice Prosser was the GOP Minority Leader and then the Speaker of the Assembly. So Prosser was Nickolaus boss.Nickolaus Received Immunity For Testimony On A Campaign Scandal: In 2001, the partisan caucuses in the state legislature were investigated for alleged illegal use of state resources to secretly run campaigns. Nickolaus received immunity in return for her testimony about her role in this scandal.Nickolaus Has Blown Vote Counts In The Past: Nickolaus once posted the wrong outcome in a local school board race, before her error was caught and the correct outcome was posted.Nickolaus Was Audited After She Moved Official Data To Her Personal Computers: Her countys Executive Committee ordered an audit of her office after they discovered that she removed the election results collection and tallying system from the county computer network . . . and installed it on standalone personal computers in her office. So an obviously partisan GOP operative, with a record of blowing vote counts, had already been audited once after she removed election results from the county computer network and installed them on standalone personal computers, and yet she was again using her personal computer to tally the votes, as this article in the Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel shows. It states...."She discovered the error Wednesday when she transferred her data to a state computer program for the canvassers' review."Why was she tallying votes on her standalone personal computer, and not on the county network, even after she had already been audited for removing election results from the county computer network, and transferring them to her personal computer? This doesn't pass the smell test.Of course there will be no outcry from the Flying Monkeys, because in their world, cheating is okay as long as it benefits their side.If this situation had been reversed, and it was a Democrat who had done this, and it benefited another Dem, they'd take to the skies with their pointy little heads on fire.

(Cross posted in my Donald Trump Birther thread.)Birther Donald Trump's latest lie is that Obama's Paternal Grandmother said he was born in Kenya.I think a few of the Birthers also mentioned that in my Trump Birther thread.I was not familiar with that particular lie, so I did a little digging. The lie was based on an telephone interview conducted through a translator, by a street preacher named Ron McRae, with Sarah Obama, the third wife of President Obama's Grandfather. Some Birther sites posted transcripts and YouTube clips that end abruptly with a mistranslation and don't include the corrections. Here is the conversation:MCRAE: Uh, could I ask her, uh, could I ask her about his, uh, his, his, hisactual birthplace. I would like to see his birthplace when I, when I come toKenya in December. Uh, was she, was she, was she present when he was born in Kenya? VOICE (in background): It is here.MCRAE: Was she present when he was born in Kenya?BROTHER TOM: I think, uh, uh I think--VOICE (in background): (unintelligible)BROTHER TOM (in background): He is asking her that, uh, he wants toknow something that uh, was uh you, was they, was she present when, ah,he was born. Were they they there then?(Male voice in foreign language in background.)TRANSLATOR OGOMBE: Yes, they say that yes she was. She waspresent when Obama was born. (YouTube clip ends there.)(McRae catches breath)MCRAE: OK. Uh, when I come in December I would like to go by the, theplace, the hospital where he is born. Uh, could you tell me where he wasborn? Was he born in Mombasa?(Long pause. Puzzled sound from Translator Ogombe in background:"naah?")BROTHER TOM: Uh, uh, I, I will need help. I think, uh I think, I kind of,you know we'll be coming December (unintelligible) and Vitalis, and Italking to him, so I tell him--TRANSLATOR OGOMBE (in background, simultaneously): --no, no--what?!?BROTHER TOM: --that you are a capitalist, that you were a little, that youwere a little, a little, a little American bus--TRANSLATOR OGOMBE (responding to background voices, soundingdistressed): No--yes--TRANSLATOR OGOMBE (to McRae): No! Obama was not born inMombasa! He was born in America!MCRAE: Wh-whereabouts, whereabouts was he born? I, I thought he wasborn in Kenya.TRANSLATOR OGOMBE: No he was born in America, not in Mombasa.MCRAE: OK. Do you know whereabouts he was born?TRANSLATOR OGOMBE: (Pause.) Huh?MCRAE: Do you know where he was born? I thought he was born in Kenya. I was gonna go by and see where he was born.(two male voices in background in foreign language speaking at the sametime. Mrs. Obama or another woman in background.)VOICE (background): It was Hawaii.VOICE OF MRS. OBAMA OR ANOTHER WOMAN (background):Hawaii.BROTHER TOM (background): Hawaii, yeah?VOICE OF MRS. OBAMA OR ANOTHER WOMAN (background): Yeah.TRANSLATOR OGOMBE (background): Yes.TRANSLATOR OGOMBE (to McRae): Sir, she says he was born inHawaii. MCRAE: OK.TRANSLATOR OGOMBE: Yeah, in 1960 this was Hawaii, where hisfather, his father was also marrying there. This was Hawaii.MCRAE: OK.TRANSLATOR OGOMBE: Yeah.MCRAE: Was, was, was Mrs. Obama, was sh--was she present? Was, wasMrs. Obama, see I thought you said she was present. Was she, was, was she,was she able to see him being, being born in, in Hawaii?TRANSLATOR OGOMBE: (pause, silence) Hoh? (pause) Uh, yeah wouldyou please pronounce?MCRAE: OK Im sorry. I, I thought she said she was present when he wasborn. I wasTRANSLATOR OGOMBE (sounding exasperated): No, no! The, thewoman was not present. She was uh not, a what--you see, she was here inKenya, and Obama was born in America. That is, thats obvious.MCRAE: OK.TRANSLATOR OGOMBE: Because, because the grandmother was marriedhere in Kenya, and Obama was born in America, oh yeah, so his son, thelittle Obama, was marrying, was marrying, in America, in United States.MCRAE: Oh, OK, fine. I mean, I--I just, I misunderstood what she wassaying. I thought you said she was present when he was born.TRANSLATOR OGOMBE: No, not present there. The present with me herewas tonight. Not present so she can leave. No she was here in Kenya whilehe, uh, her son, the little Obama, was marrying in America. And, uh, he bepresent if it--WOMAN'S VOICE (background): It was in Hawaii.TRANSLATOR OGOMBE: --was in America there, why are they for, theygo, they go, they go to some place, then the present isn't here sir, he wasborn there in America.MCRAE: OK. Well tell, tell her I would like to come by and see her whenI am there in December. I would love to, uh, meet her personally and praywith her.You can read the whole transcript here. There is a link to the full audio here. It played using Windows Media Player for me. The audio is pretty bad, and it's easy to see how this could have happened, in a telephone interview that was being conducted through a translator. The whole thing about Obama's Grandmother being 'present' was cleared up later in the conversation. This lie was debunked back in 2009, and yet Donald Trump is still spewing it, along with the lies that Obama's Birth Certificate does not have a signature on it, and that it was Obama's Grandparents in Hawaii who placed the birth announcements in the newspapers. The Birthers expect to be believed, yet they resort to tricks like deceptive editing of tapes, and the forging of phony Kenyan Birth Certificates.BTW, major **** artist Donald Trump is also now saying that the 9/11 hijackers sent their families out of the United States a day before the attack.NBC's Lisa Meyers debunked that lie, along with some others. There was never any evidence that any of the hijackers ever had family members in the U.S. Is Trump gong from Birther to Truther? ROFLI think his gold foil hat is on a little too tight.
