Where is Kristol to express outrage about that? For Democrats' coverup of this massive abuse of power?

No where that I've seen, and there hasn't been much in the Weekly Standard.

As a matter of fact, he's been on the wrong side.

But for the record Trump shouldn't use that term about Democrats refusing to stand. :)

But the attempt by Hillary and her corrupt allies to steal the election then frame Trump after her loss is literally treasonous. I hope he speaks out at some point about her specifically at some point.

Devin Nunes just told Fox & Friends that Trump never met George Papadopoulos. Here's a picture of them together.

Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) appeared on Fox & Friends on Monday to talk about the FBI's investigation into collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Specifically, he made some questionable claims downplaying the importance of President Trump's former foreign policy adviser, George Papadopolous, who has proved surprisingly essential to a swirl of controversy in Washington.

Papadopolous triggered the FBI's probe of the Trump campaign and Russia, thanks to a drunken conversation with an Australian diplomat in which he touted Russia's hacking efforts against Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election.

He has also been indicted for lying to the FBI — but Nunes claimed that none of that really matters, because Papadopolous played such a minor role in the Trump campaign.

In fact, "as far as we can tell, Papadopoulos … never even had met with the president," Nunes told host Brian Kilmeade.

That claim is untrue.

Papadopoulos not only provoked the FBI probe, but he also edited foreign policy speeches for Trump and arranged meetings on the then-candidate's behalf with foreign leaders.

Oh, and he is clearly visible in this campaign photo with Trump:

Trump thought the British were protesting their health service. They weren’t.

LONDON — President Trump took a swing at Britain’s beloved National Health Service on Monday, tweeting that Britons were marching in the streets because their universal health-care system was financially strapped and dysfunctional, and got a swift rebuke from the British prime minister.

Image

But the thousands of Britons who took to the streets over the weekend were marching in support of the NHS and calling for greater government funding.

Trump's tweet about Britain’s universal health-care system — once said to be the closest thing that the British have to a national religion — provoked ire from across the political spectrum, including from British Prime Minister Theresa May.

A spokesman for May said that “the prime minister is proud of our NHS, that is free at the point of delivery.”

The spokesman said that funding “is at a record high and was prioritized in the budget with an extra 2.8 billion pounds.

In the recent Commonwealth Fund international survey, the NHS was rated the best in the world for a second time.”

Jeremy Hunt, Britain’s health secretary, said he is proud to hail from a country where people have coverage “no matter the size of their bank balance.”

Image

Opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn of the Labour Party said that Trump was “wrong,” adding: “People were marching because we love our NHS and hate what the Tories are doing to it.

Healthcare is a human right.”

Image

The march was called “NHS in crisis: Fix it now” and was organized by the People’s Assembly and Health Campaigns Together.

Demonstrators carried placards that read: “NHS: More staff, more beds, more funds” and “Saving lives costs money, Saving money costs lives.”

Responding to Trump’s comments, the march organizers said they were campaigning against a U.S.-style health-care system that they said is “expensive, inefficient and unjust.”

It’s hard to overstate just how proud Britons are of their “free at the point of use” health-care system, established after World War II.

Some have pointed out that Britain spends a lower percentage of its GDP on health care than the United States does and that life expectancy is longer in the United Kingdom.

There is speculation that Trump’s tweet might have been inspired by a segment on the NHS by Fox News Channel, which the president frequently watches.

In fact, he followed up his tweet on the NHS by thanking Fox News for “exposing the truth.”

Ex-FBI Special Agent Takes Blowtorch To Comey: He Made Up Own Rules, “Predetermined” Clinton Probe (VIDEO)
February 6, 2018 by Joshua Caplan 12 Comments
Ex-FBI special agent Chris Swecker took a blowtorch to former bureau Director James Comey Sunday, accusing the fired law enforcement executive of having an oversized ego that led to a “predetermined” Hillary Clinton-email probe.

Transcript provided by Ian Schwartz of Real Clear Politics:
ED HENRY, FOX NEWS: Republicans on the House Intel panel released that controversial FISA memo on Friday bringing to light what they say are some pretty shocking revelations.

TODD PIRO, FOX NEWS: Joining us now to react is Chris Swecker who served 24 years as an FBI special agent. Sir, with all due respect, to our other guests today this interview is arguably the most important because of your background as an FBI agent. So I’ll ask you right off the bat, you’ve heard other individuals saying the FBI is going to go after the president, the FBI hates the president, this was bad, this is now FBI versus president. How do you react to that?

CHRIS SWECKER, FMR. FBI AGENT: Well, I’d say, look, Chris Wray the new deputy director David Bowdich are going to do no such thing. What we’re talking about here is a breakdown in the senior leadership of the FBI under Jim Comey and Andy McCabe as deputy director. I would hate for the public to think that the FBI as an institution is flawed or biased.

What this is is a very small inner circle of senior leadership under Jim Comey at a very critical time period, and I just don’t want this to reflect on the 35,000 very — you know, the excellent men and women of the FBI who are doing a great job every day.

ED HENRY: So Chris, let’s get specific. And we’ve heard the partisan attacks on all sides, people who don’t like the president, people who like the president and people who like James Comey and don’t like James Comey. So I think as Todd said, it’s very important to get your perspective as somebody who was inside the FBI so James Comey holds himself out there even today on Twitter and Instagram as this paragon of virtue, above the fray. You were there for 24 years. How do you think he’s behaved over the last couple of years, you know, his public performance as FBI director, both in the Clinton probe and then how he handled President Trump?

CHRIS SWECKER: I had the perspective of serving directly under Director Mueller. I bet I sat in on 500-plus meetings with him and Director [Louis] Freeh, and these were two great leaders. They stayed in the background. I never saw a hint of bias. Unfortunately, under Jim Comey, that hubris that you just mentioned caused him to make up his own rules — leaks, permissive leak environment, predetermining investigations, a non-investigation of the Clinton email investigation, thumb on the scale on the Russian investigation in the beginning here with the FISA applications, and just generally making up their own rules and letting their own political opinions infect their investigation.
That is something you learn at the FBI academy. You can’t let your personal bias — you’ve got to leave those at home. If, not you need to be in another line of business.

K.T. McFarland officially withdrawn as nominee for ambassador to Singapore.

K.T. McFarland’s nomination to be U.S. ambassador to Singapore was officially withdrawn on Monday, according to a White House press release.

President Trump on Friday announced the withdrawal of his former deputy national security adviser after her nomination became hindered by her involvement in the ongoing Russia probe.

The president accused Democrats of being responsible for her failed bid for the position.

“Unfortunately, some Democrats chose to play politics rather than move forward with a qualified nominee for a critically important post,” he said in a statement.

McFarland’s nomination came under scrutiny from both Republicans and Democrats last year over allegations that she misled the Senate about what she knew in regard to former national security adviser Michael Flynn’s contacts with Russia before Trump took office.

She told lawmakers that she “was not aware” of Flynn's communications with Russia.

Court documents, however, later surfaced and revealed Flynn had emailed McFarland about his contacts with a top Kremlin official during last year's presidential transition.

Sen. Bob Corker(R-Tenn.), chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, announced in December that her nomination was "frozen" until the discrepancy could be cleared up.

McFarland asked Trump in a letter to withdraw her nomination last week, without mentioning any particular reason for the decision.

“I am asking that you withdraw my nomination to be the U.S. ambassador to Singapore,” she wrote, according to Reuters.

“I have come to this decision reluctantly, because I believe in your mission.”
She lied to the Senate during her confirmation hearing.
Being such a filthy liar himself, I guess 45 doesn't have a problem with that.

And it was Bob Corker (R) who froze her nomination, not Democrats.
So he lied again.

I wonder what qualifies this former FOX News Trump TV pundit to be an ambassador anyway, or what qualified her for the job as Deputy National Security Adviser in the first place, and why 45 is so anxious to give her another job in his administration.

Gone is Richard Cordray, the consumer bureau’s director and so-called bad cop, who levied fines and brought lawsuits to crack down on usurious business practices by an industry that offers short-term, high-interest loans that critics say trap vulnerable consumers in a feedback loop of debt.

In his place is Mick Mulvaney, the White House budget director and a former South Carolina congressman, who was chosen by President Trump to assume temporary control of the bureau and has emerged as something of a white knight for the payday lending industry.

Two weeks ago, Mr. Mulvaney put the brakes on a contentious rule, ushered in by Mr. Cordray, that was set to impose tight restrictions on short-term payday loans.

He ended a case that the bureau initiated last year against a group of payday lenders in Kansas accused of charging interest rates of nearly 1,000 percent.

Last week, Mr. Mulvaney scrapped an investigation into the marketing and lending practices of World Acceptance Corporation, a lender based in South Carolina that donated $4,500 to Mr. Mulvaney’s previous congressional campaigns through its political action committee.

Donald Trump and the political action committees for Mitch McConnell, Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, Lindsey Graham, John Kasich and John McCain accepted $7.35 million in contributions from a Ukrainian-born oligarch who is the business partner of two of Russian president Vladimir Putin's favorite oligarchs and a Russian government bank.

During the 2015-2016 election season, Ukrainian-born billionaire Leonard "Len" Blavatnik contributed $6.35 million to leading Republican candidates and incumbent senators.

Mitch McConnell was the top recipient of Blavatnik's donations, collecting $2.5 million for his GOP Senate Leadership Fund under the names of two of Blavatnik's holding companies, Access Industries and AI Altep Holdings, according to Federal Election Commission documents and OpenSecrets.org.

He likely intended it all and followed it the entire time it was happening, maybe in Daily Presidential Briefings.

Mark Levin was one of the first people who saw this scandal coming.
Levin on FISA Memo: Dems, Media Are Protecting Barack Obama
Michael Morris By Michael Morris | February 6, 2018 | 12:53 PM EST
On his nationally syndicated radio talk show Monday, host Mark Levin briefly discussed the GOP FISA memo release and suggested that Democrats and the Praetorian Guard media are protecting Barack Obama.

“There’s no way Obama didn’t know about the applications and the actual securing of the warrant,” stated Mark Levin. “There’s no way. And yet he’s never asked about it. And he’s the one the Democrat Party’s protecting. And he’s the one the Praetorian media are protecting.”

....“Barack Obama had to know, at least generally, what was taking place for multiple reasons, and he’s the one the Democrats are protecting the most. He’s the one the media are protecting the most. And oddly enough, it’s Donald Trump who’s in their crosshairs, as if he knows any of this, and he knows almost none of it.

“Number one, the Attorney General of the United States Lauretta Lynch, she knew about it. She wasn’t bashful about revealing information. She met with Bill Clinton on the tarmac in Phoenix to let him know that his wife was in the clear.

“The idea that an Attorney General of the United States as political as she was, wouldn’t inform the President of the United States what’s taking place with these FISA applications and then the FISA warrant, to me, is preposterous.

“Number two, the Deputy Attorney General, at the time, Sally Yates – extremely political, as she demonstrated when she refused to defend President Trump’s refugee executive orders, which were constitutional. She refused to do it. She knew about the relevant FISA application.

“Number three, FBI Director Comey, at the time, he knew about the FISA application.

“Number four, the Deputy FBI Director, McCabe, he knew about the FISA application.

“We know that Comey is a serial leaker. I don’t know what he leaked in relation to this. We know that McCabe is a leaker. I don’t know what he leaked in relation to this.

“But we know they all despise Trump.

“The senior level of the FBI obstructed the Hillary Clinton investigation. Let’s be blunt. What else do you call it?

“But there were FISA leaks, sporadic and pinpointed to the media – to the media. It had to come from the people who knew about it.

“I don’t believe for a minute that the senior level White House staff wasn’t told about it. This was a counterintelligence investigation, where Carter Page was being accused, in order to get the warrant, of being an agent of Russia.

“So, you have to assume the Director of National Security knew about it, Susan Rice. You have to assume the Deputy Director of the National Security Council knew about it, Ben Rhodes. I don’t know who did exactly or who didn’t, but it’s easy enough to find out. They’re not going to come on my program, but there’s no reason Congress can’t find out. And I’ll get to that in a minute.

“So, Lynch, Yates, Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, they all knew about the FISA application.

“Would they have kept it secret from the President of the United States? Would they have kept it secret from Susan Rice and Ben Rhodes? Why? Why would they have done that?

“Moreover, if I found pieces of this in the media, you have to assume the president’s press team found pieces of this in the media, even if for some ridiculous, ridiculous reason he wasn’t aware of it from his own people. There it was.

“If I could piece it together from public records, they could piece it together from public records.

“Number three, as I said on March 2, the President of the United States receives a daily briefing on the intelligence issues of the prior day: the presidential daily briefing. This was a counterintelligence espionage operation relating to Trump world.

“I don’t believe, again, for one second, that that information, at some point, in some way, wasn’t provided to the President of the United States through the daily presidential briefing.
“And I’ve said from day one, Congress needs to fight to get the relevant copies of that material from the presidential briefing.

“In other words, there’s no way Obama didn’t know. There’s no way Obama didn’t know about the applications and the actual securing of the warrant.
“There’s no way. And yet he’s never asked about it. And he’s the one the Democrat Party’s protecting. And he’s the one the Praetorian media are protecting.”

Oh my gosh, Trump is the next Hitler!

Except that it's your side that attempted a coup.

A key point about the FISA court is that there aren't two sides, one pro and one con, like an ordinary trial.

Meaning that whoever makes the case must do so honestly and fully to prevent abuses.
Hugh Hewitt: Failing To Inform FISA Court Hillary Paid For The Dossier Was A ‘Damning Omission’
JOHN SEXTON
Rep. Devin Nunes admitted today on Fox News that the FISA application, which was one focus of Nunes’ memo, included a footnote that indicated the source of the information was political (check Allahpundit’s dissection of that admission here). What the application did not include, apparently, was a direct statement that Hillary and the DNC were behind it.

So the question now turns to whether this is a significant omission. This afternoon the Washington Post published a piece by Hugh Hewitt, someone who has reviewed “hundreds” of these applications earlier in his career. Hewitt argues the omission is a pretty big deal:

Having reviewed hundreds and hundreds of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant applications as the final stop between the FBI and the desks of Attorneys General William French Smith and Edwin Meese III, I read the Nunes memo as revealing one major fact that stands out above all other revelations: The FISA warrant for surveillance on Carter Page (and the three subsequent renewals of the warrant) omitted a material fact. While the FBI admitted that the information came from a politically motivated source, the bureau did not disclose that the source had been financed by Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. That is a damning omission…

Upon publication of the Nunes memo, a retired federal judge emailed me: “There is not an officer of the court in the land who in the context of this particular application to the FISA court should not have identified the source of the information as having been the [Democratic National Committee] and the Clinton Campaign. If I had granted the application and then subsequently learned that the information was sourced to the DNC and the Campaign, I would have rescinded the authorization and issued a show-cause order to the Government to explain who and why this sourcing was not made known to the court. The fact (if it be that) that the Government told the court that it was a political source, but did not identify who, in this particular instance, is highly probative that the Government purposely misled the court.”

The FISA court to which the application was made might well have issued the warrant even if it knew the provenance of the intelligence. We will never know. But the non-disclosure was a breach of trust, and it will have long-term consequences for the warrant application process.

So it sounds like at least some people with knowledge of how this system usually works believe this is a major omission. ...

Hewitt says it’s important to keep in mind that there are so many of these applications passing through the DOJ that it is unlikely any of the top officials, i.e. Comey, Rosenstein, were aware of it. However, he adds that if the omission was discussed in advance that would constitute “fraud.” And if those discussions (of omitting the information) involved any top officials, Hewitt says they should be held accountable. He concludes, “The non-disclosure of a material fact in an application for a FISA warrant — its minimization, indeed one could argue its camouflaging — is a very big deal and its provenance should be thoroughly investigated.

Rawstory.com? Aren't you the wackjob who rejects all my sources?

Is it accurate? Hell no.
Yesterday, at a manufacturing plant near Cincinnati, President Trump riffed about how the Democrats reacted to his State of the Union address. At the end, Trump said:
They would rather see Trump do badly, OK, than our country do well…it’s very selfish…even on positive news, really positive news like that, they were like death and Un-American. Un-American. Somebody said ‘treasonous.’ I mean, yeah, I guess, why not? [laughter] Can we call that treason? Why not. [laughter] I mean, they certainly didn’t seem to love our country very much. But you look at that and it’s really very, very sad.

I agree with NRO’s Dan McLaughlin that Trump was playing for laughs here, not seriously accusing Democrats of treason. I think, too, he was being transgressive. He delights in saying things he’s not supposed to say.

Trump’s ‘marching orders’ to the Pentagon: Plan a grand military parade.

President Trump’s vision of soldiers marching and tanks rolling down the boulevards of Washington is moving closer to reality in the Pentagon and White House, where officials say they have begun to plan a grand military parade later this year showcasing the might of America’s armed forces.

Trump has long mused publicly and privately about wanting such a parade, but a Jan. 18 meeting between Trump and top generals in the Pentagon’s tank — a room reserved for top-secret discussions — marked a tipping point, according to two officials briefed on the planning.

Surrounded by the military’s highest-ranking officials, including Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Joseph F. Dunford Jr., Trump’s seemingly abstract desire for a parade was suddenly heard as a presidential directive, the officials said.

“The marching orders were: I want a parade like the one in France,” said a military official who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the planning discussions are supposed to remain confidential.

“This is being worked at the highest levels of the military.”

Shows of military strength are not typical in the United States — and they don’t come cheap.

The cost of shipping Abrams tanks and high-tech hardware to Washington could run in the millions, and military officials said it was unclear how they would pay for it.

A White House official familiar with the planning described the discussions as “brainstorming” and said nothing was settled.

“Right now, there’s really no meat on the bones,” said the official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe internal discussions.

After The Washington Post first published this story, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders issued a statement confirming that plans are underway.

“President Trump is incredibly supportive of America’s great service members who risk their lives every day to keep our country safe,” Sanders said.

“He has asked the Department of Defense to explore a celebration at which all Americans can show their appreciation.”
This is not about allowing Americans to show their appreciation to the military.
This is about him acting like a dictator.

You are ludicrous in your hatred of Trump. You blind yourself to the real facts and rant fake news all the time. You are obsessed with your hatred and it takes precedence over everything else!!! Thus creating a mental aberration in your life. You need to get over your obsession with Trump and get your life back. This probably invades your whole life outside of your posting here. How often do you rant about it with others in person or on the phone? Therein lies the truth.
And yet another episode of Psychosis from Ol' PsychoBilko. Stay tuned for more Psychotic Rants from the board Psycho.
