by Brendan Kirby | Updated 15 Mar 2018 at 10:26 AM
A Republican gubernatorial candidate has promised to crack down on noncitizen voting in the Keystone State, a pledge he indicated was even more important in light of Tuesday’s photo finish in a special election for a congressional seat near Pittsburgh.]
Scott Wagner, a businessman and state senator from York County, vowed to order the Pennsylvania Department of State to audit its voter registration records and immediately remove any noncitizens from the rolls.

Morgan Roof, the younger sister of the Charleston shooter Dylann Roof, was arrested after taking two weapons to school and posting to Snapchat that she hoped students protesting against gun violence in a nationwide walkout “get shot.”
Roof, 18, showed up at A.C. Flora High School in South Carolina with a knife, pepper spray, and marijuana.
She faces weapons and drugs charges.
A judge released Roof on a $5,000 bond but ordered her to stay away from her school.

Job openings hit 6.3 million in January, highest level on record
by Joseph Lawler
The number of advertised job openings rose to the highest level on record in January, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday.
Total job openings hit 6.3 million, up from 5.7 million the month before. That’s the highest number since the agency began keeping track in 2000.

Full Employment? Even With 313,000 New Jobs, We're Not There Yet
FacebookTwitterLinkedInShare Reprints
3/09/2018
Employment: The February gain in jobs — 313,000 — was impressive on a number of levels. But it also confirms something we've been saying for some time: We aren't anywhere near full employment.
If you're looking for good news in the latest jobs numbers, it's hard to know where to start.
First, 313,000 was 50,000 more than expected, and is the biggest monthly gain in jobs in a year and a half.
In fact, since the recession ended in June 2009, there have only been six months in which job gains beat this number — which doesn't say much for President Obama's economic performance.
Better still, these employment gains were across the board. In fact, almost a third of the increase was in goods-producing industries, which climbed at a rate more than twice as fast as the overall job market.
The only part of the economy that didn't grow was government, which can also be seen as good news. The federal workforce, in fact, dropped in February, and is now 14,000 lower than when Trump took office
At 4.1%, the overall unemployment rate is at a 17-year low, while the unemployment rates among blacks and Hispanics remain at historic lows.
But the employment numbers also show why, despite these strong gains, the economy is still far from "full employment."
The reason is simple: During the tepid economic recovery under Obama, 14.5 million people dropped out of the labor force, most of whom were able-bodied people who'd simply given up looking for work.
What the February data make clear is that the stronger economy under Trump is creating enough new jobs that it's now pulling many of these people off the sidelines and back into the labor force.
In fact, the data show that 653,000 people rejoined the labor force in February, the biggest monthly increase in more than a decade.
The number of people who aren't in the labor force but want a job now dropped by 40,000 in February, after coming down by 137,000 in January.
As a result, the employment-to-population ratio climbed to 60.4% in February. That's higher than it ever got during Obama's eight years in office. Better still, the employment-to-population ratio among those of prime working age jumped to 79.3%, its highest level in almost a decade.
And the labor force participation rate — the share of people looking or who have jobs — is now up to 63%, after having fallen steadily during Obama's years (it went from 65.7% when he took office to 62.7% when he left).
This is all good news. Even so, there are still 5.1 million people who aren't in the labor force but want a job now — a massive pool of ready-and-willing workers.
The fact that wage growth was mild in February — up just 2.6% from the year before — is further evidence that the labor market isn't at full employment.
As good as the latest jobs numbers are, too many people who should have jobs don't.

On Friday, former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker told Fox News‘ Harris Faulkner that he believes the Justice Department Inspector General’s report will include “some pure TNT.”
,,,,Swecker: “The behavior if it’s manifested in the action with your thumb on the scale of a particular investigation, one way or the other, that’s borderline criminal behavior — manipulating an investigation. I think this IG report is going to be particularly impactful, more so than any of these useless congressional investigations. I think you’re going to see some pure TNT come out in this IG report.”

Former Asst. FBI Director: Brennan and Obama were Committing Felonies… Not General Flynn (VIDEO)

Former FBI Assistant Director James Kallstrom told Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures that there was likely a “big sign of relief” after Andrew McCabe was fired on Friday.
Kallstrom went on to tell Maria Bartiromo that John Brennan and Barack Obama were the ones who committed the felonies and not General Flynn.
ames Kallstrom: My sources tell me [Brennan] was leaking almost weekly or daily, and he was taking that bunch of phony crap supposedly from Russia, and peddling that through the Congress and the media, he was one of the active people. I’ve known him a long time and I think he’s involved, and quite frankly, I think it goes right to the top, quite frankly.
Maria Bartiromo: To President Obama?
James Kallstrom: It goes right to the top, and it involves that whole strategy. They were going to win [the 2016 election], nobody would ever know this stuff, and they just unleashed the intelligence community. Look at the unmaskings? We haven’t even heard about that yet. Look at the way they violated the rights of these American citizens?… I hope Gen. Flynn sues a lot of people, because he was handled so bad… He didn’t lie to the FBI. They didn’t even interview him about a crime. They are the people who committed felonies, not the General.

Former FBI Exec Says Top Feds Plotted to Protect Hillary Clinton
James Kallstrom told Maria Bartiromo that high-ranking Department of Justice officials had a 'backup plan to basically frame Donald Trump'
by Kathryn Blackhurst | Updated 19 Mar 2018 at 6:35 AM
There were “high-ranking people throughout the government” with “a plot” to protect 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton — and “basically frame” President Donald Trump, former FBI Assistant Director James Kallstrom (shown above) warned Sunday on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo.”
Kallstrom, whose 27-year career in the FBI culminated in his serving as assistant director, made his comments following Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ firing of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe on Friday.....
I think there’s a big sigh of relief and a good feeling about the fact that an FBI element, and organization in the FBI, recommended that he be fired, as opposed to them being mute and having someone else make that recommendation,” Kallstrom said. “So I think they’re very happy about that.”
“And they’re just gnawing at the bit to actually get involved in a real investigation, not a phony investigation like [former FBI Director] Jim Comey conducted,” Kallstrom added....
Host Maria Bartiromo noted that 10 people “at the top of the FBI and the Department of Justice” have been “either fired or reassigned” over the past several months. These actions took place as details about the Clinton investigation and the investigation into collusion between Russia and Trump’s presidential campaign came to light.
"Obviously this is no coincidence," Bartiromo said. "Do you think somebody was directing them, or do you think they just came to the conclusion on their own, this leadership at the FBI and the Department of Justice, that they wanted to change the outcome of the election, that they wanted to protect Hillary Clinton?"
Kallstrom replied, "I think we have ample facts revealed to us during this last year and a half that high-ranking people throughout the government, not just the FBI — high-ranking people had a plot to not have Hillary Clinton, you know, indicted, so that she could remain the flawed candidate that she was, which in my view was stupidity."

HERE WE GO=> House Intel Members Accuse James Clapper Of Providing ‘Inconsistent Testimony’ About Contact With Media
March 22, 2018 by Joshua Caplan
ShareTweetEmail
House Intelligence Committee members are accusing former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper of providing ‘inconsistent testimony,’ about his contacts with the media. ...
James Clapper, the director of national intelligence under former President Barack Obama, gave “inconsistent testimony” about contacts he had with the media while in office, according to a document released Thursday by Republicans on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
“Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, now a CNN national security analyst, provided inconsistent testimony to the Committee about his contacts with the media, including CNN,” reads one entry in a seven-page summary of findings from the committee’s Russia investigation.
The committee voted on Thursday to formally end the Russia probe. A 150-page report authored by Republicans will now undergo an intelligence community review before being released to the public.
Committee Republicans released a one-page preview of its report last week in which they pointed to “problematic contacts between senior Intelligence Community officials and the media.”
Fox News contributor Sara Carter recently revealed that Clapper allegedly leaked key information to CNN stemming from classified briefings to both President Obama and President-Elect Trump about the Steele dossier.
Sara Carter reports:
Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper allegedly leaked information to CNN in early last year regarding the classified briefing given to then President-Elect Donald Trump and President Barrack Obama on the salacious dossier and its contents claiming the Russians had compromising information on the president-elect, according to government sources, who noted the evidence of the leak was collected during the House Intelligence Committee’s Russia investigation.
Clapper, who was one of four senior Obama administration officials to attend the briefing with the presidents, also stated his “profound dismay at the leaks” in an official statement issued in January, 2017 and warned that the leaks were “extremely corrosive and damaging” to national security, according to the press release.
Steele, who was tasked with compiling the ‘Trump dossier’ for opposition research firm Fusion GPS, has admitted in court that the discredited document contains “limited intelligence.”

Bombshell reveal: a grand jury already is hearing evidence on DOJ and FBI scandals
By Thomas Lifson
We are on the verge of a huge political explosion. While there have been calls for a special counsel to investigate the DOJ and FBI scandals, and many conservatives have been outraged at the seeming passivity of “Gentleman Jeff” Sessions (aka, Sessionzzz in some quarters), it now is clear (as I have already figured) that a grand jury far outside the Beltway already is hearing evidence dug up by DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, whose report is now believed to be coming in April. Following release of that report, expect heads to explode all over the media, Deep State, and NeverTrumps. ....
When a federal prosecutor digs into an investigation, a grand jury is empaneled to issue subpoenas and hear testimony. And yesterday, in a response to a subpoena from House Judiciary Committee chairman Robert Goodlatte, the DOJ confirmed that a grand jury indeed exists to investigate the issues uncovered by IG Horowitz, who has been referring criminal matters to the DOJ for some time.
