Brett Kavanaugh's senior yearbook page, like his 1982 calendar, had been like a puzzle waiting to be solved.

Wikipedia, the crowd-sourced online encyclopedia, was edited after his testimony to make his explanation of one of the mysteries make sense.

One of the puzzles had been what was meant by the term "Devil's Triangle."

The attorney Michael Avenatti suggested there was some sexual innuendo, and entries online had similarly nefarious definitions of the term.

Avenatti's client later accused Kavanaugh of being present at a party where she said she was "gang" raped.

Those accusations featured in the hearing, and Kavanaugh refuted them as pure fantasy during his opening statement.

It was not until questioning by Rhode Island Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, however, that Kavanaugh got to Devil's Triangle.

"Drinking game," said Kavanaugh to Whitehouse, who asked how you play.

"Three glasses in a triangle," said Kavanaugh.

"And?" said Whitehouse.

"You ever played quarters?" asked Kavanaugh.

"No," said Whitehouse.

"OK, it's a quarters game," said Kavanaugh.

It's not a very popular version of the game, however, since there wasn't any mention, per Google (people were immediately Googling), of Devil's Triangle as a type of quarters.

Quarters is where you try to bounce a quarter into a glass and may have to drink what's inside.

Who knows what they were doing in the '80s in Kavanaugh's set, but that particular game didn't penetrate much further into the world.

Kavanaugh also lied about several other entries in his yearbook like "FFFFFFourth of July," "boofed," "Beach Week Ralph Club – Biggest Contributor," and "Renate Alumnus."

He lied under oath about all of those things because they go against the narrative that he put out, portraying himself as some sort of a choir boy when he was in High School.

And he bristled every time he was asked about his drinking in High School, to the point of being snarky and disrespectful to the Senator asking about it.

If lying under oath is not enough to disqualify someone from sitting on the SC then what is?

Brett Kavanaugh Once Said Polygraphs Are A Good Tool. Now He Says They’re Unreliable.

In 2016, Kavanaugh wrote the opinion for a case involving a Ph.D. student who had filed several Freedom of Information Act requests for her dissertation on polygraph bias.

The court case centered on whether the student qualified for reduced FOIA fees — the panel decided that she did — but the panel also weighed in on the Defense Department’s decision to withhold certain reports about polygraph exams.

In his opinion, Kavanaugh concluded that polygraphs are a valuable tool for the government to determine credibility and decide who should be allowed to handle classified information.

As the Government notes, law enforcement agencies use polygraphs to test the credibility of witnesses and criminal defendants.

Those agencies also use polygraphs to “screen applicants for security clearances so that they may be deemed suitable for work in critical law enforcement, defense, and intelligence collection roles.”

The Government has satisfactorily explained how polygraph examinations serve law enforcement purposes.

Asked by Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) on Thursday if he had taken a polygraph test, Kavanaugh said he had not.

“No, I’ll do whatever the committee wants.

Of course, those are not admissible in federal court,” he said, knowing that the Republican-controlled committee was unlikely to instruct him to take a polygraph.

“They’re not admissible in federal court because they are not reliable, as you know.”

He drank heavily and denigrated women.

But he has portrayed himself to be some kind of a choir boy in High School, who only played sports, studied and went to church.
