One incontrovertible truth of the Trump administration is that Trump has attracted some of the worst human beings imaginable into his orbit.

Yesterday, it was revealed that George Nader had been charged with transporting child pornography.

I’m not sure what Nader’s actual “job” was. Here’s how the Washington Post describes it:

"Nader played an unusual role as a kind of liaison between Trump supporters, Middle East leaders and Russians interested in making contact with the incoming administration in early 2017."

Just another gross hanger-on that was attracted to the Trump campaign like flies are attracted to s**t.

"According to the complaint, Nader was interviewed by FBI agents at the airport, and one of his three iPhones was searched for reasons unrelated to child pornography.

But on the phone, authorities found 12 sexually explicit videos featuring boys approximately ranging in age from 2 to 14, according to the court documents."

In normal times, having any kind of association with a man busted with sexually explicit child pornography on his phone would dominate the news headlines for a week.

Trump would have to answer for this, explain exactly what his relationship was to the transition and the administration, and distance himself from this scandal.

Instead, we live in a world where it’s kind of baked-in that the President of the United States receives help from incredibly shady people and that some of those people are actual criminals.

President Trump, who tweets like a lonely teen who doesn’t get invited to parties, has said nothing about Nader.

Nobody has asked him about Nader as he travels around the world, embarrassing America in his rented tux.

And Nader, who set up meetings for senior Trump administration advisors like Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner, is already out of the news cycle.

If Hillary Clinton were president and a guy like Nader had set up meetings with John Podesta and Middle Eastern oligarchs, Breitbart readers would be self-immolating on the White House lawn right now.

The FBI and CIA through foreign intelligence services in Italy, England and Australia, at a minimum, tried to insert figures into the Trump campaign as part of the coup attempt against him.

In a normal presidential administration—hell, in a normal professional setting of any kind—it would be considered inappropriate to bring one‘s family members to official work meetings and/or on business trips.

But of course, the Trump administration is not normal.

Rather, it‘s a family affair, the primary goal of which is to enrich Donald Trump and the people who surround him—who, among others, include his not-very-bright son-in-law.

That M.O. starts at the top with the grifter-in-chief, but it also extends to dozens of current and former cabinet members who’ve seen no issue with taking their wives on taxpayer-funded European vacations, using a government plane to get a better shot of the solar eclipse, plunking down $31,000 on dining-room sets, and allegedly planning work travel based on a “desire to visit particular cities or countries.”

So it’s not entirely surprising that Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao thought it would be no big deal to bring her relatives—who happen to have major business interests in Beijing—to meetings with government officials during a visit to China in the fall of 2017, but unfortunately for Chao, not everyone in government has adopted Team Trump’s way of thinking.

The New York Times reports that in October 2017, an alarmed official at the American Embassy in Beijing wrote an urgent email seeking advice concerning “a series of unorthodox requests” made by Chao‘s office related to her first visit to China as a Trump cabinet member.

According to the Times, Chao—who is married to Senate leader Mitch McConnell—wanted federal officials to “coordinate travel arrangements for at least one family member and include relatives in meetings with government officials.”

Such requests would be wildly inappropriate for any secretary’s relatives, but were even more so given the Chao family’s business: her father, James Chao, founded Foremost Group, a shipping, trading, and finance company now run by Elaine’s sister Angela Chao.

While the company is based in New York, its fleet is, per the Times, “overwhelmingly focused on China,” with roughly 72% of the raw materials it has shipped since early 2018 going to China, cargo that “helps feed” Beijing’s “industrial machine, which manufactures steel products that are a point of dispute in the deepening trade war between” China and the U.S.

The company reportedly constructs almost all its vessels in state-owned shipyards in China, some with loans from the Chinese government.

Though Chao has not worked for the company since the 1970s, it is the (ongoing) source of her wealth and the political wealth of her husband.

In 2008 her father gave the couple a gift of as much as $25 million, while 13 members of the Chao family, including Foremost CEO Angela Chao, have given more than $1 million to McConnell’s campaigns and to PACs tied to him.

“She had these relatives who were fairly wealthy and connected to the shipping industry,” a State Department official who was involved in deliberations over the visit told the Times.

“Their business interests were potentially affected by meetings.”

Per the Times, the email from the official at the American Embassy in Beijing wasn’t a case of an overly skittish bureaucrat.

“They would not have raised a question like this about a cabinet secretary unless it was something really serious,” said David Rank, a former State Department deputy chief of mission in Beijing, adding that the requests were “alarmingly inappropriate.“

After the matter was raised to officials in the State and Transportation Departments—and after the paper of record started asking questions—the trip was abruptly canceled.

Steele interview about Russia collusion hoax should reveal Democratic Party corruption

Democrats must be scared stiff by reports Tuesday that federal investigators will soon interview former British spy Christopher Steele, whose discredited dossier was integral to getting the Russia collusion witch hunt started.
The interview with Steele is likely to reveal the stench of corruption that emanates from what amounts to an attempted Democratic coup against President Trump.

Steele could be the key to exposing the whole corrupt cabal that conspired to undermine then-candidate and later President Trump with wildly false allegations that culminated in the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

After nearly two years of a massive investigation, Mueller was unable to substantiate the salacious claims Steele made in the dossier, which was proven to be bought and paid for by the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign.

This should have come as no surprise to the FBI, since agents were well aware that the document was thoroughly political in nature when they used it as the basis for a series of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants to spy on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page – not once, but four times.

If Steele’s knowledge about the Democratic Party’s fraudulent and treasonous behavior becomes public, Democrats know that Trump will be virtually assured of winning re-election.

And now Attorney General William Barr’s investigators are hot on the trail of former FBI Director James Comey, former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and others who played a role in concocting the conspiracy to take down our duly elected president.


If investigators conclude that Comey, Clapper and others engaged in a criminal conspiracy – as seems increasingly likely – then Christopher Steele could easily be named as a co-defendant, which would trigger an extradition request that Britain would almost certainly honor.

Steele obviously doesn’t want that to happen, which is probably why he declined a previous request for cooperation from U.S. Attorney John Durham, one of Barr’s top investigators looking into the FISA warrants scandal.

We don’t yet know which investigators will be interviewing Steele in the coming weeks, but it’s a pretty safe bet that they’ve offered him some form of immunity in exchange for his candor. That should terrify the Democrats who enlisted him in their attempts to execute a Deep State coup against Trump.

If Steele spills the beans on his former handlers, the resulting prosecutions of former high-level federal officials would make Watergate seem trivial by comparison.

In addition to Comey, Clapper and Brennan, it’s entirely possible that Steele’s testimony will yield new insights that could eventually help to implicate even higher-ranking officials in the Obama administration.

Of course, even if famously aloof former President Barack Obama is able to maintain plausible deniability and keep investigators from proving that he knew of the Deep State effort to overturn the results of the 2016 election, the Democratic Party would deserve to be politically and electorally devastated by the revelation that some of its most prominent members engaged in such an illegal and anti-democratic scheme.
