Utterly pathetic that you still can't get it through your thick skull that our deficit is caused by the government spending without restraint. Not only spending wastefully, but as if its funding is in an abundance. All of which is fueled by taxpayer money. Yet despite this, you want the taxpayer to pay even MORE into their foolish ways? Yes, this makes absolute sense!Your wife always charges up your credit card. You're constantly being left with more and more debt via these credit cards. Rather than her coming to the realization she is spending far too much on ridiculous things, she demands that you get a better paying position and continue to bleed out for her spending needs as you near your debt ceiling.Use your brain for once. It IS quite useful and it DOES serve a purpose besides spouting the same crap over, and over, and over, and over, and over - Mr. bad wordBROKENRECORD.Use your brain............OBVIOUSLY and beyond denial, one can address a deficit as much by MORE REVENUE as by MORE CUTS...or some mix of both. The CLASS WARFARE agenda of the Kochs and their billionaire pals has already done PERMANENT DAMAGE to America. The TRADE DEFICIT....a scam the RICH loved....has done damage beyond what can EVER get fixwed even when...at long last,we MUST take steps. Corporations being MULTI National non-persons...owe no loyalty to anyone but their own bottom line. The Corporate aristocrats...a tiny fraction of us GOT FREAKING RICH...but America....slipped and many Americans got tossed on the scrap pile.SPENDING.....by the Govt...is what? PAYCHECKS. Ultimately...if Uncle Sam builds a Highway or a Jet Bomber or a Dam...much of that is PAYCHECKS and some is PROFITS. A better deal for Nike? Nike's payroll now is 90% OVERSEAS.If....and I'm not sure why we have to debate this...IF America is to remain what WAS, to be top dog, we can NOT regress to a semi corrupt-semi feudalism where a few multinational corporate entities MILK us for our wealth...extract wealth and leave us STRIPPED and weaker. America was not about ARISTOCRACY where a small ELITE grabbed everything, where the serfs were expendable where there was NO agenda to make it RIGHT across the board. We need NOT punish the "stars" of the system, but.............dude.........a millionaire or a billionaire...is no orphan child,no stray dog. Oh...sob sob....some poor little billionaire tycoon's tax bill might go up a whole $5000....THE HORROR.....the horror. If the USA's middle class fails and falls and the Wealthy few float about multi-nationally, doing predatory monopolies, conglomerates, dodging all responsibilities......we are DONE. Kaput. What a lot of weak little herd animals Americans have become. Easy marks...Brainwash us ! Spank us! Throw us under the bus! Pathetic. The con artists have so OUTSMARTED millions of Americans that they have their own VICTIMS volunteering to be the human shields. It's a triumph for mass hypnosis and otherwise...tragic.Going back to the analogy the OP used...the simplistic family credit card......Duh...If the wife is spending and you HAVE wealth but are NOT paying the credit card bills....then you do have a good analogy. Tell the wife..."Honey...spend NOTHING because I wanna put all the money in a jar on the shelf for a few years." Well.....you may need to say WHY. An even CLOSER analogy..." Honey,I'm cutting off YOUR credit cards for 3-4 years and I'm gonna buy me the worlds's most expensive set of golf clubs...oh...and about 3 young hookers". Now...that MIGHT sort of muck up the sense of partnership and common cause you need in a marriage or a NATION.I can't really think of any analogy that dumbs it all down further, and I get that some of the Usual Suspects on the right have issues or one-sentence attention spans. If we, as a nation can no longer SEE reality or adapt and rebound.....the time is coming when we skip this petty BS and start to think about strategy for an empire in decline. How long does misinformed finger pointing work?

Some of the GOP tactics to make it harder for people to vote include, stricter voter ID laws, redistricting, doing away with early voting, changing the way electoral votes are distributed, and making voter registration much more difficult. They can never win fair and square.Translated into honest English, Repubs and some Democrats are cracking down on voter fraud, which the Democrat Party engages in as its Modus Operandi to steal as many elections as they can. Even Rhode Island, governed by Democrats and a liberal independent governor, just passed a strict anti voter fraud law.You dishonestly denied there was any real evidence of voter fraud, then when I cited an entire book, you ignored it and dishonestly attacked the author.Lying sleazebag. It's better if you read this thread backwards, as the more recent stuff is at the end of the thread.I can't really start any threads, because of one crazy stalker who disrupts and derails every one of them, so I use this thread as a place to vent, when I feel the need to say something.Ain't it a shame I get in the way of your Disinformation and Democrat Talking Point Lies?I get all weepy thinking about it. The Buffett Reagan Rule Reagan Called For An End To Crazy Tax Loopholes That Let Millionaires Pay Less Than Bus DriversWhen President Obama released his plan for the Buffett rule, which involves closing tax loopholes and ensuring that millionaires pay their fair share in taxes, he explained that middle-class families shouldnt be paying higher taxes than millionaires and billionaires. Warren Buffetts secretary shouldnt pay a higher tax rate than Warren Buffett, he said. Ever since, many Republicans have been attacking Obama for inciting class warfare. However, if calling for an end to millionaires having lower tax rates than their secretaries is class warfare, Obama is only the latest class warrior to occupy the Oval Office. In a June 6, 1985 speech at Northside High School in Atlanta, Georgia, then President Ronald Reagan explained that tax loopholes allowing a millionaire to pay lower taxes that a bus driver were crazy, because they allowed the truly wealthy to avoid paying their fair share: Were going to close the unproductive tax loopholes that allow some of the truly wealthy to avoid paying their fair share. In theory, some of those loopholes were understandable, but in practice they sometimes made it possible for millionaires to pay nothing, while a bus driver was paying ten percent of his salary, and thats crazy. [...] Do you think the millionaire ought to pay more in taxes than the bus driver or less?Watch Obama and Reagans remarks, side by side: When Reagan asked the crowd whether millionaires should be paying more or less in taxes than a bus driver, the crowd resoundingly responded more! Reagan also told an Illinois crowd about a letter he had received from a man who said that tax loopholes allowed him to pay a lower tax rate than his secretary. He wrote me the letter to tell me hed like to come to Washington and testify before Congress as to how thats possible for him to do and why it is wrong, Reagan said.

Virtually NO evidence. That doesn't seem to stop the Republican Party from using this phony issue to pass laws that make it more and more difficult for people (mostly those who tend to vote for Democrats) to vote.No evidence? Shameless freaking liar. Here's yet another example of numerous I've cited.Stolen Identities, Stolen Votes: A Case Study in Voter ImpersonationBy Hans von SpakovskyMarch 10, 2008On January 9, 2008, the Supreme Court of the United States heard oral arguments in Crawford v. Marion County Election Board, a case challenging the constitutionality of an Indiana law that requires most individuals who vote in person to present a government-issued photo identification.[1] Indiana's law was upheld by a federal district court[2] and by the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.[3]Critics contend that such laws are unnecessary because "impersonation fraud" at the polling place simply does not exist. It is true that direct evidence of such fraud is hard to come by, but this is for a simple reason: Election officials cannot discover an impersonation if they are denied the very tool needed to detect it-an identification requirement. The Seventh Circuit noted "the extreme difficulty of apprehending a voter impersonator" unless the impersonator and the voter being impersonated (if living) arrive at the polls at the same time, which is a very unlikely occurrence.Ignoring this point, the editorial page of The New York Times, among others, asserts that "[i]n-person voter fraud is extremely rare."[4] To support this claim, The Times cites the attorney for the petitioners in the Indiana case, Paul M. Smith, who told the Justices that "[n]o one has been punished for this kind of fraud in living memory in this country."[5] The New York Times's position is ironic, since the best-documented case of widespread and continuing voter identity or impersonation fraud comes out of the newspaper's own City of New York.A 14-Year Vote-Fraud ConspiracyA striking example of identity fraud at polling places, well within living memory, is described in a grand jury report publicly released in 1984 by the Kings County District Attorney and former Democratic Congresswoman Elizabeth Holtzman.[6] Had it checked its own archives, The New York Times would have found a story from 1984, "Boss Tweed Is Gone, But Not His Vote," that detailed the findings of the grand jury.[7] As that article reported, the grand jury report "disclosed that cemetery voting and other forms of stuffing the ballot box were not buried with Tammany Hall."[8]The grand jury report revealed extensive voter registration and voter impersonation fraud in primary elections in Brooklyn between 1968 and 1982 that affected races for the U.S. Congress and the New York State Senate and Assembly. According to Holtzman, "[t]he grand jury investigation has uncovered a systematic attack on the integrity of elections in Brooklyn." Holtzman warned that unless there were immediate changes in procedures, there was "a danger that serious fraud could occur in connection with the upcoming election."[9]This 14-year conspiracy was detailed by witnesses who participated in the fraud and were able to describe in great detail how it was accomplished. The grand jury found evidence of fraudulent and illegal practices in "two primary elections for Congress held in 1976 and 1982, four primary elections for the Assembly in three different assembly districts, three primary elections for the State Senate in one senatorial district and two elections for state committee in two different districts."[10] For 14 years, the conspirators engaged in practices that included: the forgery of voter registration cards with the names of fictitious persons, the filing of these cards with the Board of Elections, [and] the recruitment of people to cast multiple votes on behalf of specified candidates using these forged cards or the cards of deceased and other persons.[11]The grand jury explained that "the ease and boldness with which these fraudulent schemes were carried out shows the vulnerability of our entire electoral process to unscrupulous and fraudulent manipulation."[12]http://www.heritage....erImpersonationMore evidence you'll ignore. The claim that there is no voter fraud in the U.S. is patently ridiculous, given our rich and unfortunate history of it. As the U.S. Supreme Court said when it upheld Indianas photo-ID law in 2008, Flagrant examples of such fraud . . . have been documented throughout this Nations history by respected historians and journalists. The liberal groups that fought Indianas law didnt have much luck with liberal justice John Paul Stevens, who wrote the 63 decision. Before being named to the Supreme Court, Justice Stevens practiced law in Chicago, a hotbed of electoral malfeasance . . .http://blog.heritage...-voter-id-laws/

5 Reasons Chris Christie Can't Win The GOP Nomination1. Christie is no hardliner on immigration. He has said being in the country without proper papers is an "administrative matter," not a crime. And between 2002 and 2007, as U.S. attorney in New Jersey, he prosecuted so few illegal immigration cases that then-CNN host Lou Dobbs said Christie was "an utter embarrassment."2. He has a soft spot for gun control. In 1995, when Christie was running for state general assembly, he distributed flyers calling opponents "radical" and "crazy" for supporting repeal of the federal assault-weapons ban.And he still fights any move to let people carry concealed weapons in New Jersey. In 2009, he told conservative Fox News host Sean Hannity that New Jersey had a "handgun problem," and that he supports some of the gun-control measures the state uses to contain it.3. Hardliners won't like his stand on the "ground zero mosque". Last year, Christie accused politicians on the liberal side and Right of using the proposed "ground zero mosque" as a "political football," suggesting he thought conservatives were exploiting anti-Muslim emotions stirred up by the 9/11 attacks. This summer, he faced another backlash after appointing Sohail Mohammed, a Muslim lawyer, to be a New Jersey Superior Court judge. Critics were angry that he would appoint a lawyer who had defended a cleric accused of terrorist sympathies, and someone who would seek to institute Sharia Law. Christie responded: "I'm tired of dealing with the crazies."4. He's got an uncomfortable Madoff connection. In his days as a lobbyist, Christie once fought for the rights of Wall Street. On his client list: The Securities Industry Association, then led by none other than Bernie Madoff.5. A possible clincher: He believes people are causing climate change. Christie says 90 percent of the world's scientists have concluded that the climate is changing and humans are playing a role, so "it's time to defer to the experts." http://news.yahoo.co...-062000079.html

Is that what years of investigative journalism is? Her research turned up one case of voter impersonation from 2000 to 2005: A New Hampshire teenager who cast a ballot as his father, who shared the same name. ROFLMAO You get more ridiculous by the minute. You only believe people who agree with you, and dismiss the rest.Just as I expected. Is there a single one you haven't shamelessly regurgitated? Here's yet another case:Robert Cook emailed me during and after the 2000 Florida recounts. I remember that Robert lived in Georgia at the time and he and I were certain of voter fraud in Florida and that themedia were actively covering it up. Robert ran the election numbers and sent them to me. At the time I forwarded the information to every single member of the Florida House and Senate in a push for fraud-proof electronic voting. What Robert mathematically deduced was that Florida was the victim of a massive vote fraud scheme in Palm Beach County. Robert recounted his analysis and sent it to Michael Reagan. This short report is required reading for anyone who really wants to understand what actually happened in the 2000 Florida Presidential election. The analysis leaves exactly zero room for the possibility for anything other than massive vote fraud. As Newsmax.com's Carl Limbacher reported: "Robert is a nuclear engineer with a track record for analyzing and correcting trends, errors and mistakes in heavy construction projects (ships, power plants, nuclear reactors, military and aerospace vehicles, etc.) for more than twenty years, put forth a compelling case that the 19,120 presidential race ballots at issue in Palm Beach County were 'destroyed by deliberate double-punching ballots with a "second punch" for Al Gore or Pat Buchanan.'" The results are shockingly clear evidence of vote fraud: Only Palm Beach County, Florida voters seem incapable of understanding and using this style of ballot (butterfly ballot -- chosen by local Democrats).Only in Palm Beach, FL were 15,000 ballots "invalidated" (for double-punched ballots) in the 1996 Presidential election. (Past history of vote fraud in 1996.)Only in Palm Beach (and in only the most heavily Democratic precincts) were 19,120 ballots rejected in 2000 for double-punching.Only in Palm Beach did this "double-punch" error happen only in the Gore-Bush-Buchanan selections for President.Only in Palm Beach has the news media complained about "massive" ballot confusion.Only in Palm Beach did Gore gain 750 votes in a recount.Only in Palm Beach County that more than 20% of the registered Republicans "forgot" to vote for their party's presidential candidate.Only in Palm Beach did Bush receive less than 65% of the registered Republican voters.Only in Palm Beach did Buchanan get less than half of the votes he received before in 1996. Cook provides the probable means by which a Democrat conspirator could have disenfranchised thousands of voters and destroyed their "punch ballot cards": Stamping 45,000 ballots with a tool (or other device) through the Gore slot gives: Every Gore vote = still a valid Gore vote. (No change in the total, no change in the recount.) Every Bush, Buchanan, Workers Party, and Libertarian Party ballot IS IMMEDIATELY INVALID. They will be thrown out because they have two votes. They NEVER were counted in the first place = no change in the recount. The double-punch occurs ONLY in the presidential race, and no position on the ballot is disturbed. All other races are correctly counted. EVERY ballot that had no vote (a "protest vote" against both major candidates) becomes a Gore vote. All other races on the ballot are not disturbed, and are correctly counted.http://www.americant...ist_coming.html

This post is hidden because you have chosen to ignore posts by RichClem . View it anyway?Bite me! Arguing with you is as useful as repeatedly bashing my head into a brick wall. Here's more of the supposed non-existent evidence that your myopic leftist Academic just couldn't manage to find.Massive Voter Fraud Found in Close NY-1 RaceSam FosterSet the bar for voter fraud at ground level and NY could find a way to bury it. First, NY couldn't figure out how to use the post office to deliver absentee ballots to the right-leaning military voters, and then a Democrat stronghold discovers two "missing" voting machines. Now, we learn that limousine liberals were afforded the privilege of voting twice; once in hometown Manhattan and another for Democrat incumbent Tim Bishop several congressional districts away in Suffolk County.Yesterday, Fox News fraud investigators reported several Democrat irregularities in the close NY-1 race: A Fox News Voter Fraud Unit review of approximately 438 of the absentee ballot voters, who also maintain mailing addresses in New York City, reveals that 48 have double registrations. They voted by absentee ballot in Suffolk County, but are also listed as current "active" voters on the New York City rolls. Being registered in two separate jurisdictions is illegal and is a felony in New York State.Keep in mind that Fox News took only a sample of ballots and found that nearly 11% of the absentees cast, were ballots where Democrats voted twice. There were over 10,000 absentee ballots cast and Democrat Tim Bishop maintains only a small lead of 235 votes after the absentee count concluded last week.Fox News also found a trend as to where all this voter fraud originated: The overwhelming majority of the Long Island voters, who are also on the New York City voter rolls, appear to be wealthy Manhattanites who own second-homes in the posh resort towns of East Hampton, Southampton, Montauk, Amagansett and Shelter Island. Many of them voted in Manhattan as recently as last November in New York City's mayoral election, and in the presidential election of 2008.So the limousine liberals voted twice. Keep in mind that these are the same massively rich liberals that want to tax small businesses earning $200,000 or over.Today, Tim Bishop and Randy Altschuler will appear before a judge to argue over nearly 2,000 challenged ballots. The media template has been that since Republican Randy Altschuler has challenged more ballots than Tim Bishop, Tim Bishop will be the likely winner. Given the rampant voter fraud discovered, this template is flawed at best. But, the election is now in the hands of NY's judicial activists who have made a career of inventing new rights for liberal groups. I wouldn't put it past them to give Manhattan liberals the right to vote twice.http://www.americant...found_in_c.html

Not moonbats like you.Oh my, more evidence of massive Democrat voter fraud. Hey, tell your ugly lie again that John Fund is a child molester. You can't debate, so you lie and smear, just like the national Democrat Party.Invasion of the Election SnatchersUrban Democrats are flooding rural districts to steal elections.By JOHN FUNDEven in an economic recession, Americans in urban areas continue to buy second homes in rural parts of the country, frequently helping to revitalize depressed areas. Inevitably, though, political operatives have also been seizing on weekend residents as a way to change the political complexion of rural communities.Nowhere is the battle being more fiercely fought than in New York's Columbia County, a two-hour drive up the Hudson River from New York City. Local Democrats have encouraged weekend residents to register and vote on the theory that their ballots aren't needed in New York City, where Democrats already hold an overwhelming registration edge. In a lightly-populated upstate community, however, a few transplant votes can represent the balance of power. That was certainly the case last month in the town of Taghkanic, which has about 1,500 people. In a closely contested race for local offices, more than 20% of the ballots were cast by absentees, almost all of them by weekend residents who appeared to have delivered narrow victories to local Democrats. In response, Republicans have sued, pointing to evidence that many of the absentees were people whose jobs, drivers licenses and primary residences were in New York City and legally should have voted there. Some may even have voted in both jurisdictions. Approximately 60 absentee ballots are at issue and could sway the result of some races if disqualified. The case will be heard by a local judge in State Supreme Court in Columbia County tomorrow. Evidence before him will include spreadsheets showing that many of the county's absentee voters had signed affidavits for property tax exemptions on homes outside of Columbia County or signed second-home riders on mortgages securing their Columbia County property. Those riders explicitly say their primary residences are elsewhere."We are not against weekenders," says John Faso, a former GOP state legislator from Columbia County, who is supporting the legal challenge. "They don't realize they've been encouraged to vote in a way that isn't in accordance with the law." But Democrats are arguing that legal precedents allow people to choose where they can vote -- some have even launched a Web site called CountryVote.org that urges weekenders to "vote where your heart is."A charming sentiment, but it flies in the face of New York's election law, which includes several criteria for determining where someone can legally vote, including place of employment, location of tax payments and where a family's children go to school.Flooding rural elections with newbie voters who really live somewhere else is a clever tactic, but it appears to violate election law and can also exacerbate often delicate relations between long-time local residents and newcomers. If weekenders want to vote where they claim their hearts are, let them give up their city tax breaks, their exemption from local jury duty and their often blissful indifference to the real problems and challenges of their adopted communities from Monday through Friday.http://online.wsj.co...1334075998.htmlAnd this:As former Voting Section prosecutor J. Christian Adams testified under oath July 6 before the U.S. Civil Rights Commission, he attended a November 2009 meeting at which deputy assistant attorney general Julie Fernandes discussed the federal law that requires local officials to purge illegitimate names from their voter rolls. Adams swore that Fernandes told Voting Section prosecutors, We have no interest in enforcing this provision of the law. It has nothing to do with increasing turnout, and we are just not going to do it..... The U.S. Election Assistance Commission reports that Arkansas, Colorado, Maryland, Massachusetts, Oregon, and Tennessee expunged precisely zero dead voters from their rolls between 2006 and 2008. The same applies to numerous counties in Alabama, Rhode Island, and Virginia. Either these places are experiencing an explosion in immortality, or they are violating federal law. Several Iowa and North Carolina counties have more registered voters than live, voting-age adults. This condition plagues at least a dozen counties each in Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Dakota, and Texas. Registered voters equal 104 percent of Baltimore County, Marylands voting-adult population; and, according to documents that Adams filed, the figure is 113 percent in Lincoln County, West Virginia. Alaskas and Michigans statewide figures are 102 percent. As Adams explains, July alone featured vote-fraud investigations, indictments, and convictions in: Atlantic City, New Jersey; Troy, New York; Canton, Mississippi; Brooks County, Georgia; Independence, Louisiana; Dillon County, South Carolina; Adair County, Oklahoma; Muncie, Indiana; and especially Minnesota, where there have been dozens of felon voting indictments arising out of the closely contested 2008 elections. Duplicate registration plagues metropolitan areas that straddle state lines. In such spots, people may reside in one state and work or study in another. Greater St. Louis, Kansas City, Memphis, and Cincinnati occupy this category, as do New York and Florida to which tax-burdened New Yorkers often escape. Tarrell Campbell pleaded guilty in July for his actions in November 2008. He voted in Illinois (where he was in college), drove across the Mississippi River, and then voted again in St. Louis, his hometown. Campbell claimed that when he voted in Missouri, he had forgotten his vote in Illinois. Anne Enochs, a 69-year-old Memphis art teacher, was arrested in July for double voting by accident, she claimed.http://www.nationalr...t-deroy-murdock

So it seems like the right wing talking heads are supporting Hank Williams Jr. and his drunken tirade about President Obama being the equivalent of Hitler.Funny, I seem to remember a little incident back in 2003 when Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks said that she was ashamed that the President of the United States (Bush) was from her home state of Texas. The outcry from the right was loud and furious. There were CD smashing rallies, and the Dixie Chicks were blacklisted from 1200 Clear Channel radio stations. At the time, the Chicks had the number one country album in the United States on the Billboard charts, and it disappeared from the airwaves. Now people like Hannity and Beck are whining about Hank William's (who hasn't had a hit in decades, and has been reduced to performing at Palin rallies) song being pulled from Monday Night Football this week. They also worship Ted Nugent who says that the President (Obama) is a piece of **** who should suck on his machine gun.The right wing talking heads claim to love free speech, but I guess only for those who agree with them.Hypocrites.
