A fool like that could likely win the early primaries.Did I say that?Did I say that?Of course there are exceptions, but in general the rich and corporate America give to the GOP, while the poor, and middle class give to Democrats.Hahah, oh man! You're so ignorant it is almost adorable...Yeah, sweety, honey-buns - your cute little pictures do not make you anymore capable of debating politics on any level. I had to educate you on a well-known fact concerning the taxpayer > government > union cycle that you should of known. Especially being such a staunch supporter of the Democratic party.Yet you continue to just take aim at the Republicans and their likely business ties, while, the Democrats also no doubt pander to the crooks of Wall Street. So not only do you attack one side for essentially having issues YOUR side has, but you also ignore the plethora of other problems and corruption that wreak havoc within the Democratic party beyond corporate interests.Basically, you're taking a stance against corruption while supporting the greater monolith of corruption. So you couldn't even say that being a Democratic supporter is the lesser of two evils in the end. You also purposefully turning a blind eye to said corruption(despite how obvious) while many Republican supporters acknowledge corporate interests within their own structure. They just know right now that if they had an all out 'civil war' within the GOP the Democrats would be near impossible to beat and this will get REALLY nasty for us.Basically, the GOP as it is survives out of desperation of the citizens. Not because it really just has that much support. It's merely a buffer between the Democrats and total fiscal/social annihilation. If we were to get things spinning in the opposite direction enough you would see some serious cries for change occurring.Hell, you already have. Voters are beginning to attack our 'lifer' politicians, wanting fresh blood that can perhaps bring the changes that they want to Washington. It just isn't a hardcore effort because again, going into an all out inner-party conflict is going to create some serious issues at this time in our history. What have you as a Democrat done to try and inject some reason into your own party's blood? Edited by Kelliak, 12 March 2011 - 04:51 PM.

It's interesting that the ones who give to the democrats, in her opinion, are the ones who work for the state instead of making a product. It's interesting that Conservatives seem to enjoy demonizing teachers, nurses, cops and firefighters. They don't make anything, therefore they are worthless. Until your house is on fire, or you need your road plowed.

I guess that's why they call them payroll taxes. Why did you snip out my key point? Because it makes you look dishonest, maybe? You pay in, then get the money back when you retire.Repubs are out to destroy the middle class? It's as obvious as the fact that you are mentally deranged. It's a Democrat Talking Point Lie, in other words. What's the mental health of someone who day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, spreads Disinformation and outright lies?Say, how's that roaring Obama Economy going? Three freaking years into his presidency, and real unemployment is still rising.

They want to lay off hundreds of thousands of federal workers to pay for the payroll tax cut extension, instead of putting a slight surtax on the super wealthy.Of course these are the same Republican hypocrites who in the past have always said that we don't need to pay for tax cuts.

Thanks for confirming again that you don't care what the actual facts are.US unemployment drops to 8.6%http://www.ft.com/cm...144feabdc0.htmlMakes you look dishonest.Yeah, sure, the facts are "dishonest." That figure doesn't count people who've given up or been knocked off unemployment rolls. Not enough jobs were created to keep up with population growth, and the rate fell only because 100's of thousands of people stopped looking for work.Even Time had to report that, although it did its best to hide it.about 300,000 people gave up looking for work. Not a great sign, and one of the reasons why the drop in the unemployment rate may not be as great as it looks. If Republicans had their way unemployment would rise even more. They want to lay off hundreds of thousands of federal workers to pay for the payroll tax cut extension, instead of putting a slight surtax on the super wealthy.Liar. Repubs have passed 20 or so pro-growth bills in the House, all of them killed by the Senate.

What's a "tax bill?" As in tax reform or tax cut? It's the best way to create jobs, duuuh!Well since we have had the Bush Tax cuts a long time now and even extended once by Obama we have seen the results of how tax cuts produce jobs.....they don't. Now it is time to raise the taxes on the rich millionaires and pass the payroll tax bill so that people keep more of their money.

Republican Convicted Of Election FraudA Baltimore jury Tuesday found Paul Schurick, former Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr.'s campaign manager, guilty of fraud and related charges for his role in an Election Day 2010 robocall a decision hailed by government watchdog groups who say that for too long dirty tricks have tainted Maryland politics. The robocall, sent to thousands of voters as Democratic Gov. Martin O'Malley swept to a re-election victory, was designed to suppress black votes by telling recipients to "relax" and assuring them that O'Malley had been successful even though the polls had not yet closed, the jury found. The call was scripted to give the impression it was coming from Democrats, not Republicans, jurors said. The jury found Schurick guilty on all four counts, including election fraud and failing to include an Ehrlich campaign authorization line on the calls. After the verdict was read, Schurick clutched his wife, who burst into tears. Schurick, who maintained a solemn face after the hearing as he comforted distraught family members and friends, declined to comment. [...]Schurick, whose sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 16, faces a total of 12 years in prison. Prosecutors told the judge Tuesday they would not seek to have Schurick incarcerated before sentencing.University of Baltimore law professor Byron L. Warnken said he didn't foresee jail time for Schurick and that he's already suffered a form of punishment through the public embarrassment of the trial. Warnken noted the four charges of which Schurick was convicted were misdemeanors, and that he isn't a threat to public safety."His reputation is soured. His ability to work in the industry is soured," Warnken said. "My guess would be he will be given a prison term, but it will be suspended and he will be placed on probation."[...]Herbert C. Smith, a political science professor at McDaniel College, said that the robocall in Schurick's case was an extreme example of "dirty tricks" in campaigns. "Deceptive Election Day literature, stuff like that, that's like driving 65 in a 55 miles per hour zone," Smith said. "This was going 120. This was way over the edge."[...]Schurick, 55, of Crownsville, was tried in Baltimore Circuit Court on charges of conspiracy and election fraud. His trial comes before that of political consultant Julius Henson, who crafted the robocall to Democrats in Baltimore City and Prince George's County that prosecutors say implied that voters should stay home from the polls. Henson is scheduled to be tried Feb. 6. Typical GOP voter suppression tactics. One down, one to go.

Typical GOP voter suppression tactics. One down, one to go.This is chump change compared to the massive voter fraud Democrats commit every election. That's why liberal-left wingers are bleating in such a panic about voter ID laws being passed all around the country.Hey jack *** master-bating Dick head, show me where the Bush tax cuts created jobs.I don't fetch for the clueless and/or the stupid. If you weren't reading the news at the time, just go back to sleep.

Rachel Maddow reminds us that on December 6th, 16 years ago, the House Select Committee on Ethics voted to initiate a preliminary inquiry into the allegations concerning Representative Newt Gingrich and the misuse of tax exempt organizations. December 6th was the start of Newt Gingrich`s collapse in political life in 1995.Maddow: Newt Gingrich was the first speaker in the 208-year-history of the House to be reprimanded for ethical wrongdoing, for bringing dishonor to the House of Representatives. He was slapped with a $300,000 fine by the House. And this wasn`t a partisan vote. I mean, you heard Tom Brokaw say there by an overwhelming vote. The House voted 395 to 28 against Newt Gingrich, 196 Republicans voted against him. So when Mr. Gingrich talks now about those ethics violations back then, having been part of some partisan witch hunt, what you need to say back to him is, hey, 395-28. Wasn't that the vote?VideoTranscript Edited by MistyBlue, 07 December 2011 - 11:55 AM.

He was found guilty of one, count 'em, 1 minor ethics charge of a very minor, technical nature. He, gasp, taught a course and didn't fund it correctly according to tax law. What do you think about the fact that Dems filed 73 or so false ethics charges against him?How typical that someone like you who dishonestly defended a rapist/ serial felon/ sociopathic liar like Clinton would try to make a big deal out of one minor ethics violation.Lying, fawning, groveling Clinton toady. What Clem said about Newt Gingrich:She (Maddow) lied the other night that Gingrich resigned under a cloud of ethics charges. No, he was cleared of every single false allegation made against him, except one very minor technical violation.Nor did Gingrich resign because of the one, count 'em, 1 minor ethics charge of which he was guilty. He resigned because Repubs did badly in the '86 (Misty: 86? WTF?) elections and because Beltway Repubs wanted to go native. They were tired of fighting for conservative principle.Anyone who watches the video or reads the transcript in my last post can see that Clem is clearly lying. It was the first time in the House's 208-year history that it disciplined a Speaker for ethical wrongdoing, and Gingrich paid an unprecedented $300,000 penalty.Hardly sounds like 'one very minor technical violation' as Clem puts it.Gingrich did not resign in 1998 because 'Repubs did badly in the '86 elections' (WTF?). His party turned against him.All the evidence you need is on the video I posted. It shows Republicans like John Boehner, Christopher Shays, Peter King and Mark Sanford, all expressing how they felt about Gingrich at the time.Maddow lied through her teeth a couple weeks ago that Gingrich resigned under a cloud of ethics charges. He was found guilty of one, count 'em, 1 minor ethics charge of a very minor, technical nature. The only one lying here is you. Edited by MistyBlue, 07 December 2011 - 12:23 PM.
