You wanna play semantics now? I meant the classroom with the kids in it.I said what? And you said what?I'll accept your apology, but you have to offer it first. You tried to play cute with the teleprompter thing and with one picture you're stuttering and puttering because you know in your heart that ALL THREE republicans in your picture look more dignified and presidential than Obama did in that stupid planned and posed for picture that shows just how out of touch he and his staff are.You KNOW it looks stupid and you KNOW it was a planned photo-op, and you are STILL trying to make the case that he is anything other than incompetentIf you Google 'Obama uses teleprompter to speak to school kids' you'll find a slew of right wing websites trying to make it look like something it's not. That's funny, I just googled 'Obama stupid teleprompter' in images and it came up first page.

Now would be a good time to show us how you said the same thing about Libs saying Bush was an idiot because of the way he pronounced "nuclear".Bush was an idiot. He proved that over and over with very little help from me.Face it.That picture is a perfect illustration of Obama's elitist reputation. (and Liberal hypocrisy)He causes a school to empty a classroom to provide a photo-op for what was basically a press release sigifying another one of his failed policies,,,,,and you guys are b*tching about the photoI'll bet that school was more than happy to empty a classroom to accomodate a visit from a sitting president. And I'll bet those kids were thrilled to meet and shake hands with the POTUS, no matter who he was.You act like he's the first president to ever visit a school, where some special accomodations had to made for the visit.I'm sure there were many.MistyBlue, on 12 February 2012 - 08:08 PM, said:Beats me. First time I've heard that Bush wore a bulletproof vest. You need to get out more.Everybody knew thatHe wore it during presidential debates, but not when he was out in the open?(see the pics I posted above)I find that just a tad strange.Enough of this silliness.I'm going to watch the Grammys.

I'll accept your apology, but you have to offer it first.I'm not offering an apology. You jumped on the right wing meme of 'Obama used a teleprompter to talk to school kids bangwagon', and I proved you wrong, so you can't take it.You tried to play cute with the teleprompter thing and with one picture you're stuttering and puttering because you know in your heart that ALL THREE republicans in your picture look more dignified and presidential than Obama did in that stupid planned and posed for picture that shows just how out of touch he and his staff are.I guess dignified and presidential are in the eyes of the beholder. You KNOW it looks stupid and you KNOW it was a planned photo-op, and you are STILL trying to make the case that he is anything other than incompetentIn case you didn't notice, I'm the one who called it a photo-op.Now let's pretend that Obama is the first president who ever went to a location outside the WH for a photo-op, shall we?Were they all incompetent, or just him?Obama does the same things that all other presidents have done. But for some reason it drives you right wingers nuts. That's funny, I just googled 'Obama stupid teleprompter' in images and it came up first page.I told you to Google 'Obama uses teleprompter to speak to school kids' (not on Google images). The first source is the Weekly Standard debunking that right wing claim:The conservative blogosphere is buzzing this morning about news that President Obama relied on a teleprompter for his remarks to students at the Graham Road Elementary School in Falls Church, Virginia. And it would surely be funny if he had. But it doesn't appear that he did.I can't believe I'm missing the Grammys for this. One more thing.September 11, 2001 - 8:15 AM: President Bush Prolongs Briefing about Planned School VisitSandy Kress, President Bush’s unpaid education adviser, meets with Bush in his hotel on Longboat Key, Florida, to brief him on their planned 9 a.m. visit to the Emma E. Booker Elementary School in nearby Sarasota. With them are Secretary of Education Rod Paige, Bush’s senior adviser Karl Rove, and White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card. Kress goes over some key points for the talk Bush is due to give to the press after reading with the students at the school.9/11 TimelineBush was scheduled to give a talk to the press promoting his proposed education bill at the school where he read My Pet Goat to the kids on 9/11.Geeez, doesn't that seem eerily similar to what Obama did at the Graham Road Elementary School?I wonder if they had to clear some desks out of a classroom to make room for all the press?A perfect illustration of Bush's elitist reputation. Align yourself with that maniac. LOLAre you accusing me of photoshopping something? If you're referring to my siggy, I cropped the pics, and added the arrows but I never changed them. Those are actual pics from the CPAC convention. It was a joke about all the people who go around spewing the nonsense that Obama is unable to utter a word without the use of a teleprompter. And you jumped right on that bandwagon, and got your bloomers in quite a twist over it.Go ahead. If you really think that you won't marginalize yourself as some kind of a nut, then have at it.Tell us again how Obama is the only president to ever go to a school for a photo-op.BTW, that was sarcasm. I know you never said those exact words. But the sentiment was there. Edited by MistyBlue, 12 February 2012 - 09:35 PM.

Yeah, I know. The teleprompter was already there, none of the speakers requested it, and several speakers at the event didn't use it, but somehow you think those pictures make Obama look anything but stupid in the picture he planned and posed for.

Oh, we're well aware of the lengths that Obama goes to for a photo op.Oh yes......photo-ops......something that no ever president has ever done. [/sarcasm]White Bread: Remember when Air Force One buzzed downtown NY and scared the hell out of New Yorkers just to get a photo for Obama's PR?Yes I do. I lived in NYC during 9/11 and when that happened. It was a bone-headed move.Do you think that presidents plan their own photo-ops?President Obama's White House was forced to issue an apology Monday after a photo opportunity gone wrong -- an Air Force 747 plane did a low flyover lower Manhattan, prompting terrified citizens to flee from their offices and high-profile accusations of government insensitivity. White House Military Office director Louis Caldera issued a brief statement."Last week, I approved a mission over New York. I take responsibility for that decision," he said. "While federal authorities took the proper steps to notify state and local authorities in New York and New Jersey, its clear that the mission created confusion and disruption. I apologize and take responsibility for any distress that flight caused."Link

If you want to go around trying to convince people that Obama is stupid, that's your prerogative.Knock yourself out. He's not stupid. He just acts that way.Say, how could a "Constitutional expert" get slapped down twice in a row 9-0 by the Supreme Court?

Isn't it stunning that liberals might even believe such utter nonsense? There's tons of video on the internet...oh excuse me.....the internets of Bush mangling the English language. You equate being articulate with being intelligent? How utterly stupid.I had a friend in high school who was a literal genius, but very poorly spoken. Lots of very intelligent people are not necessarily well spoken. So tell me Puss, do you believe the utter nonsense that Obama is unable to utter a word without a teleprompter?I don't know overall, but I have heard many times when he badly bungled words or issues when not on it.Certainly when he's not reading from a script, he many times inadvertently reveals his Leftist philosophy that his banal, frequently deceitful speeches are intended to hide.Chuck's right. You ought to get out more.Look who's talking.....the basement dweller.Lie much?

yeah, we're all familiar with the staged Clinton on the beach fiasco. LOLActually, I don't recall that one. Can you refresh my memory?Curious that you've mentioned two photo-ops both by Democratic presidents.Do Republican presidents ever do photo-ops?Misty: It was a bone-headed move.White Bread: So he has one of his flunkies fall on his sword for him and that makes it OK in your mind? No. He's the POTUS, so ultimately the buck stops with him.The White House/President Obama did issue an apology. So what else should have been done? Impeachment?

Hey Misty,Chuck! is inherently dishonest and untrustworthy. A pretty vile combination hidden behind his folksy facade. He uses obfuscation, lie by omission and diversion to ignore what you say and argue against stuff you didn't. That's because he has no game. He incorrectly believes playing games and having game is the same thing.Chuck! is RichClem's friend, by his own words. By his own admission more than once. Chuck is not your friend, by his own actions. I thought you already knew that. Chuck! keeps setting you up and knocking you down. Just like he does when he steps aside and lets psycho Clem stalk and harass you while apoligizing to Clem for your horrendous behaviour. I suspect Chuck! and teacher as well as Tim always laughed about setting you up for Clem's craziness, behind the scenes. They probably still do. That is the type of crappy behaviour I expect from them. I would not put it past any of them to do stuff like that to someone for laughs.I found this gem11 Aug 2010 - 13:08Chuck said: "I forgot I wasn't on your friend's list anyway."MistyBlue replied: "Most of my friends don't call me a bitch."Yeah, all my friends treat me worse than they treat strangers. It's how I know they care. [/sarcasm]The fact that Chuck! is tag teaming you in this thread with Clem and that other racist White Bread should tell you all you need to know.Take care Misty. You deserve better than this place. And no Chuck!, this doesn't mean I hate you. It means I see through your smokescreen. Just like I see through Blam's smokescreen. Your smokescreen is only marginally better than his. Edited by Phelix_Dacat, 13 February 2012 - 04:11 PM.

Speaking of flying monkeys, could a sane, honest person hold the following opinion?(regarding the Bush years)basically the United States was under a "dictatorship" for the last seven years.
