There are over 25 million AR15s in Americans hands today. Used day in, and day out in a safe, legal ways.
That makes them "in common use".

You're saying that in the past 40 years, let me repeat that, 40 YEARS there were 68 mass shootings in the US by white people? From the statistics that I've seen a mass shooting is when four people have been killed. 40 years?
Have you not seen what is going on in the inner cities of America in the past couple of decades? St. Louis, Baltimore, Chicago, Memphis, and even my town which only has a 15% African American population and we're on track to crush the homicide record already this year. And nearly all of them are by African Americans.

There were 'good guys with guns' at many mass shootings that were of no use at all and in the case of Buffalo ended up dead themselves.

And BTW when police arrive at the scene and two people are firing at each other, how do they know which one is the good guy and which one is the bad guy?
People are fed up with the usual arguments and talking points used by gun fetishists.
They are demanding action.
There is no good reason why an 18 year old should be allowed to buy an AR-15.
They can't even legally buy alcohol until they are 21 or rent a car until they are 25.
