Ted Nugent Shoulda Been In Jail or Dead Long Before Obama: Draft-Dodging Multi-BabyDaddy Child PredatorBy Debbie SchlusselAttention-seeking has-been Ted Nugent is at it again. He claimed at this past weekends NRA convention that if Barack Obama is elected, Nugent will either be in jail or dead. Neither of which would bother me. That this hypocritical draft-dodging, child predator father of eight kids with six different women is a conservative hero is sheer idiocy and shows that we have as manyor moremorons and double-standardites on the right as there are on the liberal side. And if you like Ted Nugent, you are one, too.As I noted in my column, The Hypocritical Summer of Ted Nugent, this sleazy, fraudulent, aging former rocker draft-dodged to get out of the Vietnam War by not showering and wearing the same clothes for thirty days, evacuating himself in them, so the doctors would declare him unfit. He said it was better for others to serve and die instead of him because he said hed have been killed, and he needed to rock! And he also lied in writing to get a student deferment. On his successful deferment application, he claimed he was a college student, and yet he was, instead, touring with his band, while other men his age were risking their livesmany giving life and limbto fight in Vietnam. Almost as disgusting, in his book, Ted, White, and Blue: The Nugent Manifesto, Nugent has the chutzpah to blame the reason he didnt serve on his late father, a war veteran, and his teachers in school. Oh, and in the book, he advocates for a return to the draft . . . you know, the draft he dodged and which made exceptions for student deferment frauds like the one he perpetrated. He confirms that fraud in Ted, White, and Blue, writing that, during the war, he was not a student. My American rock n roll dream kept me in the world of killer music and on the road for 300 or more days a year.Get it? Killer music. Wow, youre so punny, Ted! Im sure the ghosts of Vietnam vets appreciate the joke at their expense. And Uncle Ted isnt just your run-of-the-mill sleazebag con artist. Hes a child-molesting sicko, too. He had the parents of his underaged girlfriend sign her over to him as her guardian so he could have sex with her. He was thirty at the time. Yes, the parents should have been locked up for child abuse and sex trafficking . . . and he should have met the same fate. Then, he had the teenager raise his kids while he stayed on the road to have sex with other groupies.Hes now the proud babydaddy to eight children with six different women, most of whom he abandoned and to whom he refused to pay child support. One of those kids was fathered with another woman (not his wife) during his current marriage, and while he fought for years to avoid paying even a dime of child support, you paid instead, as the kid and mother went on welfare. Despite all of this, Ted Nugent had the chutzpah to lecture Black people not to have so much sex and father kids out of wedlock in a chapter of his book, entitled, Black Like Me. He never mentions his own behavior or multiple progeny with multiple concubines. The thing is, even most Black NFL players with multiple kids with several women, whom we constantly (and rightfully) mock, dont have as many kids with as many women as Ted Nugent does. Ask yourself why its okay when Nugent does it, but not when Black residents of the ghetto or employees of the NBA and NFL do it. And ask Nugent himself why its okay to attack Black America for the lifestyle he lives free of criticism or introspection. Heres what this double standard creep wrote in Ted, White, and Blue (although he plagiarized the first sentencecompletely without creditfrom DebbieSchlussel.com and Fatherhood.org):Kids who are raised by single parents are much more likely to get involved in drugs, drop out of school, have sex at an early age, and get involved in crime. . . . This is what the black studs who impregnate our young women must want because they are absent in the lives of their offspring. . . . The greatest threat to our communities is the lack of sexual values in both our young men and women.Tell it to your mirror, schmuck. But, no, he blames it on Barack Obama . . . in a book copyrighted 2008, when Obama was just a candidate.Oh, and if youre a Christianwhether Catholic or Protestantdont be too forgiving of the Motor City Moron. In his episode of Behind the Music, he mocked organized religion and the belief in G-d, and, in his book, he called the Catholic Church, the in-house gang of pedophiles (Pot. Kettle. Black. Ted Nugent, Guardian of Underage Girlfriend When He Was Age 30), and made vile statements on stage at a concert that rival the crudest rap artists, including telling the audience about his penchant for eating p-ssy. I have the copy of his Behind the Music episode, and, in the footage, he makes that exact statement on stage while simulating sex acts onstage with some women in lingerie. This is, after all, the proud author and performer of Wang Dang Sweet Poontang. If you object when Black hip hop hucksters do this, why do you give Ted Nugent a pass?File Under: Class Act Conservatives. When faux-conservatives like Sean Hannity and others on FOX News constantly feature and promote this scumbag, it says a lot about the values they really believe in: none. They are frauds and hypocrites just like he is.Ted Nugent is an IQ test for conservatives. If you like him, you are officially an imbecile.

The only ones who use that word in conjunction with those two are you Conservatives.Could a sane, honest person really think that Rush Limbaugh is a child molester?Clinton likes adult women. And we all know he sure as hell didn't need to leave the country to get laid. The Dominican Republic has a well-documented child sex trade with a thriving sex tourism sector.Don't mess with the Head Ball Breaker if you'd like to keep your testicles intact.Oh yeah, board conservatives are just terrified of you.

Voter-ID Schemes Keep Snagging The ElderlyRepublican policymakers across the country are pushing a variety of schemes as part of the war on voting, but none are as pernicious as voter-ID measures. The practical effect of these laws will be to keep more minorities and senior citizens from participating in elections. And the examples to reinforce the concerns keep piling up. Tanya Somanader yesterday highlighted the story of Wisconsins Ruthelle Frank, whos been voting for 63 years.Though paralyzed on her left side since birth, the 84-year-old fiery woman voted in every election since 1948 and even got elected herself as a member of the Brokaw Village Board. But because of the states new voter ID law, 2012 will be the first year Frank cant vote. Born after a difficult birth at her home in 1927, Frank never received an official birth certificate. Her mother recorded it in her family Bible and Frank has a certification of baptism from a few months later, along with a Social Security card, a Medicare statement, and a checkbook. But without the official document, she cant secure the state ID card that the new law requires to vote next year. Its really crazy, she added. Ive got all this proof. You mean to tell me that Im not a U.S. citizen? But state officials have informed Frank that, because the state Register of Deeds does have a record of her birth, they can issue her a new birth certificate for a fee. And because of a spelling error, that fee may be as high as $200:Remember, the voter-ID law was approved by Republicans to address a problem that doesnt exist. Voters are facing these burdensome hurdles to prevent fraud thats almost entirely limited to right-wing imaginations. And yet, Ruthelle Frank isnt alone. Its the years biggest scandal that most Americans have probably heard nothing about.Tennessee Agency Charges 86-Year Old Veteran An Unconstitutional Poll Tax To Obtain Voter IDThis 93-Year-Old Grandmother Is Suing Pennsylvania Over Voter ID Laws91-Year-Old Tennessee Woman Cant Vote Because She Cant Stand In Line For HoursBut here's the good news.Amid Push For Voter Suppression Laws, Minority Voter Registration DeclinesAfter all that was the idea, wasn't it? Who wants those pesky minorities to vote? Edited by MistyBlue, 08 May 2012 - 06:01 PM.

Suit Alleges Financial Fraud At Trinity Broadcasting Network MinistryThe Trinity Broadcasting Network, which bills itself as the world's largest Christian network, is embroiled in a legal battle involving allegations of massive financial fraud and lavish spending, including the purchase of a $100,000 motor home for family dogs.Brittany Koper, a former high-ranking TBN official and the granddaughter of its co-founder, Paul Crouch Sr., was fired by the network in September after discovering "illegal financial schemes" amounting to tens of millions of dollars, according to a lawsuit filed in Orange County Superior Court."She blew the whistle and got terminated," said attorney Tymothy MacLeod, who filed the suit on behalf of Joseph McVeigh, the uncle of Koper's husband, Michael Koper, who was himself a high-ranking TBN officer."Brittany has done the right thing. It's admirable that someone on the inside of TBN has come forward and is revealing to the world exactly what is going on behind those closed doors," MacLeod said. "No good deed goes unpunished at TBN."The legal battle offers a rare glimpse into the private affairs of TBN, which is headquartered in an opulent compound near South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.In his suit, McVeigh alleges that TBN maliciously sued him last year in an attempt to retaliate against Brittany Koper.McVeigh's lawsuit alleges that Brittany Koper was promoted to the position of TBN's finance director in July because the network directors needed someone "within the family" to keep its financial "skeletons" hidden. The lawsuit alleges that Paul Crouch Sr. obtained a $50-million Global Express luxury jet for his personal use through a "sham loan," and that TBN funds paid for a $100,000 motor home for dogs owned by his wife, Janice Crouch, a network director. The suit also alleges that TBN bought residences across the country for its directors under the pretext that they were "guest homes" or "church parsonages." The properties include mansions used by the Crouch family in Newport Beach; side-by-side mansions in Windermere, Fla.; and homes in Nashville; Miami; and Irving, Texas, according to the suit.TBN directors received about $300,000 to $500,000 in meal expenses and the use of chauffeurs, and oversaw "fraudulent donation and kickback schemes involving third party 'ministries'" the network controlled, the suit claims. The directors also misused funds to cover up sexual scandals, the suit claims. That section of the TBN lawsuit:The suit alleges that Brittany Koper refused to lie for TBN in a lawsuit brought against the network by a former employee, Horst Brandt, who claimed he was fired over age discrimination.MacLeod said Brittany Koper was fired by Matthew Crouch, son of Paul Crouch Sr., after she submitted a memo to his father detailing her concerns about financial improprieties.Network lawyers, for their part, said in a lawsuit last year that the Kopers used forged documents to embezzle funds to buy trucks, jewelry, a fishing boat, a motorcycle, a Lexus and life insurance, and gave McVeigh thousands of dollars without authorization.MacLeod said the courts dismissed the lawsuit against the Kopers and McVeigh.Requests for comment to TBN were referred to attorney Colby May, who could not be reached.MacLeod said Brittany Koper plans to file a wrongful-termination suit against TBN.TBN has been the subject of controversy before. In 2010, the network settled a suit on confidential terms with a broadcast engineer who claimed he was discriminated against because he was gay. In another case, the network paid a $425,000 settlement to a former employee who said he had a homosexual encounter with Paul Crouch Sr., who denied the accusation.Network preachers have been aggressive advocates of the "prosperity gospel," the belief that God will bestow financial rewards on donors who give generously. Mitt Romney Outed As Anti-Gay High School BullyLast years string of heartbreaking suicides by young members of the LGBT community who had been bullied by their classmates led hundreds of celebrities, sports teams, politicians and ordinary citizens to record It Gets Better videos. Even President Obama recorded one. One politician who has not: Mitt Romney, who has been relatively silent on the issue. This morning, a story in The Washington Post reveals that the presidential candidate engaged in bullying behavior during his days at a prestigious preparatory school in Michigan: John Lauber, a soft-spoken new student one year behind Romney, was perpetually teased for his nonconformity and presumed homosexuality. Now he was walking around the all-boys school with bleached-blond hair that draped over one eye, and Romney wasnt having it.[]A few days later, Friedemann entered Stevens Hall off the schools collegiate quad to find Romney marching out of his own room ahead of a prep school posse shouting about their plan to cut Laubers hair. Friedemann followed them to a nearby room where they came upon Lauber, tackled him and pinned him to the ground. As Lauber, his eyes filling with tears, screamed for help, Romney repeatedly clipped his hair with a pair of scissors.Jason Horowitz spoke with five students who attended Cranbrook School at the same time as Romney, and all of them independently recalled the same story. Mitt Romney was asked about the Posts story during a live radio broadcast with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade, apologizing before explaining that he didnt remember many of the details of what took place: Back in high school, I did some dumb things and if anybody was hurt by that or offended, obviously I apologize for thatI dont remember that incident, Romney said, laughing. I certainly dont believe that I thought the fellow was homosexual. That was the furthest thing from our minds back in the 1960s, so that was not the case. It seems odd that Romney would not recall such a bizarre event, especially since so many other students who were asked about it painted clear pictures of what transpired, but perhaps such hijinks and pranks were so frequent he has simply lost track of them all. A separate incident, in which Romney ridiculed a closeted gay classmate by sarcastically praising him with atta girl! comments, helps paint a troubling picture for the Republican Partys presumptive presidential nominee. To date, Romney has not stepped forward to support any bills that seek to protect LGBT students from the kind of bullying that Romney himself participated in while in high school. But the presumptive Republican nominee has made it clear where he stands on LGBT rights today, 50 years after the incident. Just this week he again affirmed his position that gay couples should not receive equal recognition under the law as straight couples do. This all stands in stark contrast with President Obama, who less than 24 hours ago became the first sitting occupant of the Oval Office to endorse same sex marriage.

Colin Powell's New Book: War With Iraq Was Never Debated In his new book, former Secretary of State Colin Powell provides what may be the most authoritative confirmation yet that there was never a considered debate in the George W. Bush White House about whether going to war in Iraq was really a good idea.In a chapter discussing what he calls his infamous February 2003 speech to the United Nations where he authoritatively presented what was later exposed as gross misinformation about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction, Powell notes that by that time, war was approaching.By then, the President did not think war could be avoided, Powell writes. He had crossed the line in his own mind, even though the NSC [National Security Council] had never met -- and never would meet -- to discuss the decision. The National Security Council, which was at the time led by Condoleezza Rice, is the presidents foremost advisory body for national security and foreign policy. Bush insisted in his own 2010 memoir, "Decision Points," that the invasion was something he came to support only reluctantly and after a long period of reflection. During his book tour, he even cast himself as a dissenting voice in the run-up to war. I didn't wanna use force, he said. But Powell supports the increasingly well-documented conclusion that there was actually no decision-making point -- or decision-making process -- during the events between the 9/11 terrorist attacks and the March 2003 invasion of Iraq, which had nothing to do with those attacks. Former CIA Director George Tenet made an admission similar to Powells in his own 2007 memoir. "There was never a serious debate that I know of within the administration about the imminence of the Iraqi threat," he wrote. Nor "was there ever a significant discussion" about the possibility of containing Iraq without an invasion.Indeed, history shows that Bush had long wanted to strike out at Saddam Hussein and was trying to link Iraq to 9/11 within a day of the terrorist attacks.[...]In Powells explanation of how he came to provide the misleading and inaccurate account of Iraqs WMD capability at the UN, the former secretary of state points an incriminating finger at Vice President Dick Cheneys office -- confirming previous reports such as the one by Karen DeYoung, in her Powell biography. In the new book, Powell describes his reaction to the initial WMD case from the White House. It was a disaster. It was incoherent, he writes. I learned later that Scooter Libby, Vice President Cheney's chief of staff, had authored the unusable presentation, not the NSC staff. And several years after that, I learned from Dr. Rice that the idea of using Libby had come from the Vice President, who had persuaded the President to have Libby, a lawyer, write the case as a lawyer's brief and not as an intelligence assessment.Powell gives himself credit for rejecting continued appeals from Cheney to add assertions that had been rejected months earlier to links between Iraq and 9/11 and other terrorist acts. All in all, Powell acknowledges that the speech was one of my most momentous failures, the one with the widest-ranging impact. But he also concludes that every senior U.S. official would have made the exact same case, He adds: I get mad when bloggers accuse me of lying -- of knowing the information was false. I didnt.Read More....Maybe if Powell had the courage to speak up at the time or resign, we could have avoided that debacle. Edited by MistyBlue, 10 May 2012 - 02:57 PM.

This all stands in stark contrast with President Obama, who less than 24 hours ago became the first sitting occupant of the Oval Office to endorse same sex marriage.Yeah, after key fund raisers threatened to cut off the money spigot.Wow, what an act of courage!
