They had that excuse in the Bush years, though I wish they hadn't used it. The media, in any case, didn't--so they had no excuse not to be raising legitimate worries about war and civil-rights abuses than they were (and are). It would obviously be politically disastrous if we were attacked again on their watch in the process of their de-funding defense and counter-terrorism programs. Nevertheless, I worry that we ended the conversation about how safe the American public has to feel in the dangerous world we're living in. The fact is that directing so much of our nation's wealth increases suffering and death within the nation that wasn't caused by explosions created by terrorists. The media should be discussing such issues more seriously--instead of just ridiculing the Tea Party, Ron Paul, and etcetera. That's the longest quote I've ever seen from you, and a good one at that. You should try doing that more often, not that I don't enjoy your one liners also.

i think if a woman is carrying a retard, it's most likely her fault anyway. especially in this day and age. women need to stopsearching for excuses to divert their own immorality and $lutty behavior. that's what i think.Well you think wrong.Immorality and slutty behavior do not cause genetic defects. But thank you for contributing to the asininity of this thread that you mentioned earlier. LOL

Well you think wrong. Immorality and slutty behavior do not cause genetic defects. ummmm...sorry. but yes it does. a woman immoral enough to be a drunk while pregnant has only herself to blame for that down syndrome child. a woman worthless enough to f**k an inferior, ill-bred piece of $h!t man has only herself to blame when her kid pops out inferior. with your abortion agenda, you place pregnancy as the full responsibility of the woman. you can't have it both ways. so sorry.

I would like to see far less abortions, but the right wing flying monkeys seem to want to take away access to contraception, so I guess that won't happen. And unfortunately pregnancy can easily become the full responsibility of the woman, when the man involved walks away. She can't just walk away from what's happening in her own body.

If a man can't handle the idea of a woman having an abortion in the case she gets pregnant, he shouldn't have sex with her.

It might depend on the particular circumstances you found at prison--which might be very bad given you'd be there for murder. Nobody smiles through repeated rapes, abuse, and solitary confinement.

If you choose to call that an 'agenda', so be it.Knock yourself out.In an ideal world, this would be a decision that couples make together, and hopefully a discussion they would have before they even begin a sexual relationship. However, as we know all too well, we do not live in an ideal world. So, since the woman has the uterus, the ultimate decision should be hers.

Thank you for coming to my defense but I don't take the stuff Chuck says to me on the forum personally. We do go at it pretty good, and I think I give as good as I get. I keep that separate from our friendship off the forum. Maybe that's hard for people to understand, but it works for us. Yes you are. I try not to let political differences dictate my friendships but girl your patience is epic.

Over and over we hear about Obama's out of control spending and how he has increased the deficit. Here are the real numbers. The Arithmetic - Democrats V RepublicansDont Blame Obama for Bushs 2009 DeficitYou will often hear critics say that Bush left office with a $454 billion deficit. That was the deficit at the end of 2008 (12/31/2008). Then what accounts for the period from the end of December until the President is sworn into office in late January? Any calculation that begins when President Obama took office or at the end of 2009 (because the President had been in office for a year), is just flat-out wrong.Heres how it works...the fiscal year is from October 1 through September 30th. So a President governs for his first 9 months under the budget of the preceding administration. At the end of the Bush fiscal year, September 30, 2009, the deficit was $1,417,121.Obamas first fiscal year, September 30, 2010, the deficit was $1,294,090. The deficit went down!Obamas second fiscal year September 30, 2011, the deficit was $1,298,614.Obamas third fiscal year August 31, 2012 (latest available), the deficit was $1,164,373.Barack Obama has lowest spending record of any recent president.

It's times like this when I miss Clem. It would have been so much fun to see him defend his savior Ronald Reagan. I try to buy guatemalen and nicaraguan and salvadoran when I have the choice. My way of saying, "oops." Wow! Who would ever have expected that from old 'Freedom Fries' Jones? Lyndon Johnson is also rotting in hell for his work to maintain jim crow/apartheid by camoflauging it as a government benefit program. It occurs to me that the Democratic Party may not have reached out and made use of the libertarian extremists across the aisle to further a pacifist agenda in the last 5 years the way it might have. I also failed to capitalize on an opportunity for additional home security when I refused to purchase a rabid dog from some gypsies. Missed opportunities... spilled milk. They had that excuse in the Bush years, though I wish they hadn't used it. One side uses beardie-deardies, the other uses an ailing and angry Gaia at rag time. Both would have us throw only the most precious currency into the fray: our civil rights, our childrens' liberty. Progressives. They are gravity's little helpers: They suck.
