So why bother coming here under the pretense of wanting to debate?
You don't want to debate anything. You just want to force your views down everyone's throat, because you are correct,
without any question, and anyone who disagrees with you is a moonbat, a troll, or crazy.

It was not a joke.
Limbaugh was not laughing when he said those horrible things about Sandra Fluke, and neither was anyone else.
He did not even use the 'joke' defense when he issued his apology.
So if he didn't say it was a 'joke' why would you?
Why? Because you defend and excuse every Republican/Conservative piece of **** out there.
Then you whine like a baby when someone says something you don't like about them.

Can't you even tell believable lies? :\

And I thought it was well over the top and in bad taste.
He wasn't joking - He was 'entertaining' clowns like you. Sick, disgusting, insults are his stock in trade.

That's what he does. It's his job. He's successful because clowns like you think he's "funny"

I've listened to Rush for decades, and he absolutely was joking. It was satire, however in bad taste.

And it was typical of the intolerant, fascistic liberal-left to try to drive him off the air over one incident.

Which they'd never, EVER do against one of their own, however ugly the comment.

Rush actually apologized for those remarks, one of the rare times he ever did, and he never used the joking or satire defense in his apology, so why do you still keep up the pretense that he was joking, when even he himself doesn't say that?
And it was typical of the intolerant, fascistic liberal-left to try to drive him off the air over one incident.

One incident? He has a very long history of making misogynistic and racist remarks.
Which they'd never, EVER do against one of their own, however ugly the comment.
That's a lie. Many Liberal commentators have been fired for their comments.

Georgetown Professor Who Called for Obama's Assassination Appears On Fox News

When it comes to gun violence, there's inevitably a lot of finger pointing within the media, trying to place blame for the senseless and callous taking of life at violent images or rhetoric, whether it be movies, video games or music.

But let's take a moment to look at how inured the media has become to violent, eliminationist and treasonous rhetoric right there in their own studio/website:

Lou Dobbs Tonight last night included the sage opinions of a former CIA official and current Georgetown prof who recently called for the assassination of President Obama.

In a 12/23 column on his foreign policy website, Michael Scheuer suggested that history held in high esteem those who have killed tyrants:

The deeming of Obama as a "tyrant" worth assassinating stemmed from Scheuer's assessment of the failures of ....wait for it... Benghazi. That favorite bugaboo of conservative media that has been soundly debunked but still looms large in their fevered brains of their consumers.

I'm curious how Georgetown University feels about such a high profile adjunct professor (who has made dozens of appearances on the various Fox/News Corp platforms) making irresponsible calls to violence like this.
It's shocking how inured this country has become to calls of violence against this President.
And it's also shocking that such a man is welcome to appear on FOX News.

2014 Kicks Off With Gun Crimes Across The Country
The new year may be a time for resolutions and fresh starts, but one thing didn’t change at all as the calendar page turned this year: America’s gun violence epidemic continued without pause through midnight Tuesday.

As revelers imbibed and danced their way into 2014, here is a look at some of the gun violence that unfurled across the country:

7:00 pm, Barberton, OH: Two shot dead, two others shot and injured at New Year’s Eve party.

9:10 pm, Oakland, CA: One person was killed and two others (including a child) were injured as people headed out to their New Year’s celebrations Tuesday. The shooting was Oakland’s 92nd homicide of 2013.

11:00 pm, Pittsburgh, PA: Just before the new year began, three people were injured in a shooting near a bar in East Pittsburgh.

11:00 pm, Seattle, WA: Two people were shot, one critically and in the head, at a party in Seattle less than an hour before midnight.

12:00 am, Jacksonville, FL: While celebrating the start of 2014, a Florida man playing with his gun accidentally shot himself in the head.

12:30 am, Benton County, MO: Just half an hour after the ball dropped, a man in Missouri was shot and killed in what is being described as a “domestic altercation.”

12:55 am, Toms River, NJ: Police arrived to a chaotic scene at a hotel in New Jersey where someone had opened fire — people were climbing out of windows and screaming after three people were shot at a party. The gunman is still on the loose.

12:56 am, Anchorage, AK: One man accidentally shot another inside his home in the early hours of 2014. The man who shot the gun has been charged with misconduct involving a weapon, and first degree assault.

1:45 am, Evanston, OH: One person was killed and another injured in Ohio’s first homicide of 2014.

2:00 am, Chicago, IL: Police in Chicago responded to reports of shots fired just before 2:00 Wednesday morning. After a person allegedly raised a gun at the cops, they opened fire. In total, four people were shot by police fire.

2:30 am, Memphis, TN: Gunshots rang through a night club in Memphis in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, and a man leaving the club ended up injured by the bullets. Another bullet hole was found in a bouncer’s shirt, though he had not been hit.

2:40 am, Cromwell, CT: Just outside of another hotel party for the new year, a person was shot in the leg. Private security found the victim after hearing gunshots coming from a parking garage outside the hotel.

3:00 am, New York, NY: 17-year old Malik Bhola was shot in the chest in Brooklyn. After being taken to the hospital, he was pronounced dead.

3:00 am, New Haven, CT: A man was left in critical condition after being shot in the head at a New Year’s Eve hotel party just before 3:00 am.

All times are local and approximate. This is only a partial list of incidents.

While New Year’s Eve might seem the exception — a time when raucous partying gets out of hand — these incidents are sadly common on any day of the year. On average, 32 people in the United States are killed by guns every day, and another 140 end up in the emergency room with gunshot wounds.

Still, any national attempts to remedy America’s gun violence problem have been unsuccessful. A push by Congressional lawmakers in 2013 to require background checks on almost all gun purchases was met with strong resistance by the pro-gun lobby despite having support from 90 percent of Americans. Thanks to a filibuster, the measure failed to pass the Senate and never even reached the House for consideration.

The Price of GOP Obamacare Sabotage In One Chart
The GOP's relentless assault on Obamacare hasn't succeeded in repealing or defunding the law, but it has managed to do something: prevent a lot of uninsured Americans from getting health insurance.

With three months of Obamacare enrollment completed, the effect of the Republican intransigence on health care reform can be seen in compiled by Theda Skocpol, professor of government and sociology at Harvard University and director of the Scholars Strategy Network.

'Political Stunt': Republicans Battle Over Denying Health Care Subsidies To Staff
Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-WI) issued a scathing statement on Monday criticizing Sen. Ron Johnson, a fellow Wisconsin Republican, over his lawsuit to block health care subsidies for congressional lawmakers and staff under Obamacare.

He slammed it as a "political stunt" and "frivolous" lawsuit that would, if successful, result in a brain drain of congressional staff from Capitol Hill.

"Senator Johnson's lawsuit is an unfortunate political stunt," the congressman said. "I am committed to repealing Obamacare, but the employer contribution he’s attacking is nothing more than a standard benefit that most private and all federal employees receive -- including the President. Success in the suit will mean that Congress will lose some of its best staff and will be staffed primarily by recent college graduates who are still on their parents’ insurance. This will make it even more difficult to fight the President and his older, more experienced staff."

Johnson announced its lawsuit in a Wall Street Journal op-ed and a press conference Monday, flanked by former U.S. solicitor general Paul Clement and lead attorney Rick Esenberg. He is seeking to invalidate a ruling by the Office of Personnel Management, which interpreted an ambiguity in the statute to say members of Congress and staff who are required to buy insurance on the Obamacare exchanges are entitled to an employer contribution.

Johnson echoed numerous Republicans in describing the rule as as an exemption for Capitol Hill from Obamacare, calling it unjust and unfair. Some Republicans are pushing legislation to reverse the ruling.

"Senator Johnson should spend his time legislating rather than litigating as our country is facing big problems that must be addressed by Congress – not the courts," Sensenbrenner said. "All Republicans want to repeal Obamacare, but this politically motivated lawsuit only takes public attention away from how bad all of Obamacare really is and focuses it on a trivial issue. Fortunately, Senator Johnson’s suit is likely frivolous and will not achieve the result he’s seeking."

Congressional staff would be put at a substantial disadvantage if Johnson's lawsuit succeeds, as they would be the only employees in the country who are forbidden from receiving employer subsidies to buy health care.

"I've a great deal of respect for Congressman Sensenbrenner," Johnson told reporters when asked about his statement. "I'm disappointed -- I'm really puzzled by his reaction. ... I don't in any way shape or form believe this is frivolous or trivial, that this is a stunt. So I just respectfully disagree with the Congressman."

Johnson was one of the wealthiest members of Congress in 2013, with a net worth of $12.5 million, according to Roll Call.
I can understand one of the wealthiest members of Congress trying to do away with the employer contribution for members of Congress, but not for their staff.
