My granddaughter has been modeling in NYC since last winter. She's appeared in a commercial, her photo was in every Carter's store on the planet and many catalogues like BabiesRUs, ToysRUs etcetera.

I'm going to be busy with family stuff for the next four or five days, and probably won't be around here much to enjoy all the gloating, but I just wanted to comment on the elections.
There were three things I wished for most in this election, and I'm three for three.

1. My governor Tom Corbett is toast.
2. Scott Brown lost in two different states to two different women.
3. RichClem still has Mark Warner as his senator.

I heard a lot of talk from Republicans, especially Mitch McConnell, about how they now plan to work with this president who they have shown nothing but contempt for up until now, and get some things done. I'll believe it when I see it.

Great job at finding a tiny sliver of good news in an utter disaster for your party.

I didn't realize Va was finalized.

I heard a lot of talk from Republicans, especially Mitch McConnell, about how they now plan to work with this president who they have shown nothing but contempt for up until now, and get some things done. I'll believe it when I see it.

He'll work very hard at it, and lots of bills will pass with bipartisan margins, but I'll bet Obama vetoes most.

Your bulls*** about Repubs refusing to cooperate with Dems, about being the party of No is going to be exposed as the Democrat Talking Point Lie it was.

And Dems will filibuster many good bipartisan bills, but you'll brush that off.

You won't get any gloating from me, though you might see me laughing and commenting at the sour grapes out of leftists. I am pleased the Repubs took the Senate, just for the sake of running Harry Reid out of the picture, if nothing else. But I'll wait to see if this means something besides what I've been seeing far too much of in the past 5 years from Repubs, i.e., snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
