You mean our private messages? As far as I know they are private, but that's okay.
Don't send it that way if you don't feel comfortable.
I'm sure we'll be fine, but thanks for the offer anyway.
I always knew you had a kind heart.
That's why I like you.

Goodnight Red.

PMs are private - only ronjul can read them. I could, too, if I knew how. But that takes study and Im busy making friends.

Haul the freezer outside, fill the house with friends and loved ones, heat the house with gas from the stove, make cocoa and watch the little ones make memories. - CP's recipe for sitting out a winter storm.

That sounds lovely, but luckily it didn't come to that. We only got about 8 to 10 inches of snow. Never lost power.
BTW, the stove is electric, so it would have been useless if the power went out.

That is gratifying to know - but get on gas.

Very good advice. We are gas heat, hot water and cooking with a 500 gal propane tank for the whole house generator. Ivan was a bitch and I vowed to never sweat again after a hurricane.

I wish I could. Up until I moved here to PA I always had a gas stove. After 5 years I still can't get used to cooking on an electric stove.
I like to see flames.

The gas company will put a tank in and let ya rent it for nothing. They'll sell ya has every few months when you run it down. If you own, the job is cheap and worth the money. Cooking with gas is the shiznit - and it'll save you *** come winter outages. You'll be the house where the memories are made and the blessings flow.

We already have a propane tank. That's how we heat our house. Then we'd have to run a line into the kitchen and get a new stove.
I'm not sure we want to invest the money on that. After dealing with the snow here in PA for 5 years, there's been talk of moving to a warmer climate.

there ya go. I have no idea why people choose to llive in that kind of winter mess. Yeah it gets hot here, but that is why god invented AC and Mimosas.

Please. I don't want to move again, but my hubby is complaining about all the leaves he has to clean up and all the snow he has to shovel.
It's not like he didn't know that it snows in PA and that we are surrounded by **** trees.
We moved here to be near the grandkids, so that is another reason why I don't want to move.

Well, to be honest, I am not exactly sure what mittens are without google. Just sounded better than gloves.
