Trump's support in South Carolina is built on a base of voters among whom religious and racial intolerance pervades.
Among the beliefs of his supporters: -70% think the Confederate flag should still be flying over the State Capital, to only 20% who agree with it being taken down.
In fact 38% of Trump voters say they wish the South had won the Civil War to only 24% glad the North won and 38% who aren't sure.
Overall just 36% of Republican primary voters in the state are glad the North emerged victorious to 30% for the South, but Trump's the only one whose supporters actually wish the South had won.
By an 80/9 spread, Trump voters support his proposed ban on Muslims entering the United States. In fact 31% would support a ban on homosexuals entering the United States as well, something no more than 17% of anyone else's voters think is a good idea.
There's also 62/23 support among Trump voters for creating a national database of Muslims and 40/36 support for shutting down all the mosques in the United States, something no one else's voters back.
Only 44% of Trump voters think the practice of Islam should even be legal at all in the United States, to 33% who think it should be illegal.
To put all the views toward Muslims in context though, 32% of Trump voters continue to believe the policy of Japanese internment during World War II was a good one, compared to only 33% who oppose it and 35% who have no opinion one way or another.

Of Trump supporters in South Carolina, 16 percent believe whites are a superior race.
More Trump supporters say they wish the South had won the Civil War than say they are glad the North won — again, Trump supporters are the most likely to think this.
On the issue of the Confederate flag, a full 70 percent support it hanging on the capital grounds.

I know a candidate can't control who endorses them, but Ted Cruz brags about having Ted Nugent's support.Even After Ted Nugent's Anti-Semitic Facebook Post, Ted Cruz Touts Nugent's Praise
This image was posted online by a national board member of the National Rifle Association. An image that makes the case that it's the Jews who are coming for your guns.
A bunch of different Jewish public figures, all marked with little Israeli flags next to them.
The caption on former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg calls him "Mikey Bloomberg, the Mayor of Jew York City."
The caption on the late Senator Frank Lautenberg says "Gave Russian Jew immigrants your tax money."
The board member of the National Rifle Association who posted this "Jews coming for your guns" graphic is a board member who's named Ted Nugent.
Despite Ted Cruz wanting to be seen as the most pro-Israel candidate in the whole Republican race, Ted Cruz is sticking with Ted Nugent.
He's campaigning on having Ted Nugent's support for president. Ted Cruz bragging on his website, about how Ted Nugent says Ted Cruz is his favorite presidential candidate, even after Ted Nugent has done this thing about the Jews coming together get your guns.

The only reason I originally thought Trump said it was because you thought he did, I guess I should no better than to blindly trust you.
Remember when you said "his (trumps) numbers (42) are close"?
Now you're pretending it's my faceplant that you thought that and fooled me for a minute too.
The fact is Trump did bring it up for a reason. But he also hedged it back to "probably 20".

The Donald really attracts the cream of the crop.onlyaladd » 17 Feb 2016 8:30 pm » wrote: Damn that's crazy

I guess Golfboy is a ******* in multiple different ways.
Lol that he said it was my faceplant.
If I have a fault it's letting habitual offenders like him have another shot. The link I read before had the headline of trump saying that, but it supported what golfboy said. I should have looked more into yours.Cannonpointer » 17 Feb 2016 8:54 pm » wrote: I quoted it to you earlier, when you wrongly ceded to that homo - I wondered why you kept giving that **** what he didn't have coming.
I was guilty of the same thing. I gave him way more shots then he deserved. My time on the forum has been so much more enjoyable since I put him on ignore.onlyaladd » 17 Feb 2016 9:04 pm » wrote:If I have a fault it's letting habitual offenders like him have another shot.

He could really give Boehner a run for his money.
WTF is he doing? Do you think it's spray tan? If so, he should get a refund.onlyaladd » 17 Feb 2016 10:15 pm » wrote: I noticed over the last couple weeks it's gotten more intense.

His hair is getting more orange as well. It's a color that doesn't exist in nature.
I thought there was something wrong with my TV.
