I don't agree with all of his positions, but I was very impressed by his depth of knowledge of the issues and his overall demeanor.

It was light years away from the garbage that we have been hearing from those two jackasses who are running against him.

My only criticism of Gov. Kasich is.....1. you don't eat pizza with a knife and fork,
and 2. you should have gone to Lenny's Pizza, not Gino's.

Kasich was asked today, if abortion were to be made illegal, should women who get an abortion be punished and his answer was, "Absolutely not."

Drumpf said that because he had no idea what the Republican/Conservative or anti-abortion advocates position on this was.
That's because he is neither a Republican/Conservative nor anti-abortion.
He criticized Gov. Scott Walker for NOT raising taxes.
His positions on universal healthcare, social security, the federal government's role in education and a myriad of other things do not align with the Republican platform.

But if you want to fall for the big con job, that's on you.

Former Donald Trump Strategist: He's Like 'American Idol' Alum Sanjaya Malakar!

Full of regrets.

Donald Trump's former strategist Stephanie Cegielski is not a fan of the GOP presidential front-runner. Cegielski penned a scathing open letter about her ex employer,
which was published on xoJane on Monday, March 28.

Cegielski didn't mince words. In the column, she started off by claiming that not even Trump's team expected him to do so well on the campaign trail.

"Almost a year ago, recruited for my public relations and public policy expertise, I sat in Trump Tower being told that the goal was to get The Donald to poll in double digits and come in second in delegate count.

That was it," Cegielski wrote. "The Trump camp would have been satisfied to see him polling at 12% and taking second place to a candidate who might hold 50%.

His candidacy was a protest candidacy."

"What was once Trump's desire to rank second place to send a message to America and to increase his power as a businessman has nightmarishly morphed into a charade that is poised to do irreparable damage to this country if we do not stop this campaign in its tracks," Cegielski wrote. "I'll say it again: Trump never intended to be the candidate. But his pride is too out of control to stop him now."

She added: "He doesn't want the White House. He just wants to be able to say that he could have run the White House. He's achieved that already and then some. If there is any question, take it from someone who was recruited to help the candidate succeed, and initially very much wanted him to do so. The hard truth is: Trump only cares about Trump."

Cegielski believes that Trump has no clue how to run the country, going as far as comparing him to American Idol season 6 alum Sanjaya Malakar.
The singer made it all the way to seventh place out of 24 semi-finalists despite receiving brutal feedback from the judges for weeks back in 2007.

"It pains me to say, but he is the presidential equivalent of Sanjaya on American Idol. President Trump would be President Sanjaya in terms of legitimacy and authority," Cegielski wrote. "And I am now taking full responsibility for helping create this monster — and reaching out directly to those voters who, like me, wanted Trump to be the real deal."

Overall, working with Trump was like working with a "fictional character" who refused to take responsibility for his actions, according to Cegielski.

She claimed that Trump would even blame an intern if a tweet he sent was received negatively. "Imagine Trump wronged you, even in the smallest possible way. He would go to the grave denying he had ever done anything wrong to you — ever," she wrote.

"No matter how many times he repeats it, Trump would not be the 'best' at being a president, being in shape, fighting terrorism, selling steaks, and whatever other 'best' claim he has made in the last 15 minutes. He would be the best at something, though. He is the best at looking out for Donald Trump — at all costs."

FBI And Justice Department Probing Huge International Bribery Scandal

The FBI, U.S. Department of Justice and anti-corruption police in Britain and Australia have launched a joint investigation into revelations of a massive global bribery racket in the oil industry.

The news comes as Fairfax Media and The Huffington Post reveal that U.S. giant Halliburton and its former subsidiary Kellogg, Brown & Root are embroiled in theUnaoil bribes-for-contracts scandal through their operations in former Soviet states.

The biggest leak of confidential files in the history of the oil industry also unveils rampant corruption inside Italian oil giant Eni in many of the countries in which the firm has been contracted by national governments to manage their oilfields.

Texas firm National Oilwell Varco, Singapore conglomerate Keppel, Norway’s Aker Kvaerner and giant Turkish joint venture GATE also are implicated.

Information from hundreds of thousands of emails to Unaoil’s chief executive, Cyrus Ahsani, show individual executives and managers from Halliburton and Kellogg Brown & Root, which split in 2007, knew or suspected that Unaoil was acting corruptly to win contracts in Kazakhstan.

Corporations Grow Nervous About Participating in Republican Convention

Some of the country’s best-known corporations are nervously grappling with what role they should play at the Republican National Convention, given the likely nomination of Donald J. Trump, whose divisive candidacy has alienated many women, blacks and Hispanics.

An array of activist groups is organizing a campaign to pressure the companies to refuse to sponsor the gathering, which many of the corporations have done for the Republican and the Democratic Parties for decades.

The pressure is emerging as some businesses and trade groups are privately debating whether to scale back their participation, according to interviews with more than a dozen lobbyists, consultants and fund-raisers directly involved in the conversations.

Apple, Google and Walmart are among the companies assessing their plans for the convention, which will be held July 18 to 21 in Cleveland.

In addition to Mr. Trump’s divisive politics, there is the possibility that protests, or even violence, will become a focus of attention at the convention. Mr. Trump has suggested that there will be “riots” if he is not chosen as the party’s nominee, and the city of Cleveland recently sought bids for about 2,000 sets of riot gear for its police force.

A reduction in support from major corporations would be worrisome for Cleveland, which celebrated the awarding of the convention last year as a symbol of the city’s rebirth. The host committee is seeking to raise about $64 million for the event.

Sean Hannity was so busy clutching his pearls over the Donald Trump/Ted Cruz wife wars, he “forgot” that he has spent years race baiting and smearing Michelle Obama. Well, we’re here to remind him!

During an interview with Newt Gingrich last night, Hannity blatantly tried to acquit Donald Trump of any wrongdoing with his smear of Heidi Cruz or a story in Trump’s BFF-run National Enquirer about Ted Cruz’s supposed five mistresses, with the following sanctimony:
If you haven’t rolled on the floor laughing over this hypocrisy, let's take a stroll down Hannity Memory Lane. It's the street where Hannity has deliberately targeted Michelle Obama, not just in her role as First Lady, but specifically as Barack Obama’s wife:

Hannity repeatedly attacked Michelle Obama for saying, in 2008, about her husband’s campaign, “People in this country are ready for change… and let me tell you something. For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.”

Hannity also dubiously accused Michelle Obama of being “Apparently closer to Rev. Wright than Barack Obama was, according to reports.”

Hannity attacked Michelle Obama for going on Late Night with David Letterman (because of his comments, three years earlier, about Sarah Palin) during President Obama's re-election campaign.

Also, during 2012, Hannity race baited Michelle Obama because a photo of her with Mrs. Louis Farrakhan appeared on the cover of a magazine.

In 2011, Hannity used Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” and healthy eating initiatives as an excuse to depart from his self-described attempts to “stay away from presidential families and children.” He "joked," “Maybe the Obamas will take the kids to Reverend Wright’s church, maybe they’ll introduce them to Bill Ayers.”

In 2012, when President Obama was running for re-election, Hannity tried to make race-baiting hay over a 1988 memo then law-student Michelle Obama wrote. Her crime? “Argu(ing) for race-based and gender-based faculty hiring.”

More recently, when Michelle Obama spoke frankly about being an African American at the historically black Tuskegee University, Hannity attacked her for sounding “so angry. …(A)ll I heard was a lot of bitterness here. …Is she proud of the country she’s describing here? …Why is she pushing this narrative?” He spent at least three segments race baiting her Tuskegee speech.

Surprisingly, Gingrich didn’t buy into Hannity’s efforts. Gingrich blasted Trump for getting “down into this mud that I think really has hurt him. I'm not sure anybody in the Trump campaign understands yet what a big mistake this is. And they can't keep doing this and think that they're gonna get the nomination.”
